"Here it comes again."
Xiaqiu was once again intercepted by the Fire Dragon, retreating while keeping a fierce gaze on his opponent.
He attempted to leap past the Fire Dragon towards the Holy Land Mariejois, but the Fire Dragon relentlessly pursued him, and with his flying speed, escape was impossible.
"Can't you just let me go? Allow me to pass, and once I eliminate the Dragon People, you'll be free too."
Xiaqiu looked at the Fire Dragon and asked in a lowered voice.
"It has nothing to do with freedom."
The Fire Dragon of Dragon Road replied, "I protect them not just because they control me, but because I must do so."

Xiaqiu stared at the Fire Dragon. "Aren't you afraid of dying?"
"Dying?"
The Fire Dragon scoffed. "With your abilities, killing me is simply impossible."
"I can tell you a secret."
Xiaqiu said, "Though it may be a bit of trouble, I truly can defeat you."
The battle continued, with no clear victor in sight.
Several kilometers away from the battlefield, at the edge of the ruins, Marco descended from the sky and landed beside Whitebeard. "It might take a long time," he said.
"This is the fight between top-tier powers," Whitebeard remarked, gazing at the devastation before him with a hint of admiration.
The once wide path carved through the valley was now filled with rubble. The further one looked, the more debris there was, making it impossible to pass.
"For now, Mr. Xia is at a disadvantage," Marco noted.
"Should we lend a hand? That fire dragon can fly; if he wins..." Marco asked.
"No need," Whitebeard replied firmly. "We will continue to observe and wait for the final outcome."
...
"What’s the situation?" Sengoku inquired, holding a Transponder Snail and addressing it directly.
"The battle had temporarily paused, the dorsal fin of the giant beast torn away, and its body sustained some injuries. The Fire Dragon held the upper hand."
In the distance, above the sky, there was an airship with soldiers observing the scene below.
These were the survivors of the Air Force Unit from the earlier battle, now airborne again, monitoring the distant conflict.
"Report their position," Sengoku spoke into the receiver.
"They are thirty degrees south, on the ruins five kilometers away," a soldier replied.
Sengoku attached a Transponder Snail, frowning as he gazed into the distance. The Fire Dragon having the upper hand was not good news.
The only outcome that would allow them to take advantage of the situation was mutual destruction.
"I need a team."
Sengoku sketched a few lines on the ground. "This is our position, and this is the engagement point. We must ensure that while the battle continues, we can also intervene when it concludes. We need to close the distance and establish a encirclement. I need some people to assist me."
"I can help."
Hawkeye stepped forward directly, and the newly appointed Seven Warlords of the Sea along with Boa Hancock also stood up.
"We'll split into groups."
Sengoku began assigning roles, preparing to enter the battlefield.
“Where is your army? Why haven’t you killed that giant beast yet? And there’s a dragon in the Holy Land Mariejois; why can’t you kill it?”
Inside the World Government, the Dragon People gathered together, questioning the Elders.

Another Elder continued, “Admiral Kong has already arrived and is confronting them, but the dragon has over one hundred seventy Kings of Various Nations with him. We cannot disregard their lives.”
“Then just kill them! We can’t let that guy roam free in the Holy Land Mariejois!” one of the Dragon People shouted.
An Elder rebuked, “But if they die, those countries will withdraw from the World Government. The World Government will become a hollow shell, and then what will you have to rule over?”
“What are we supposed to do then?” the Dragon People shouted in dissatisfaction.
“We just need to wait,” the Elders replied, looking at the Dragon People. “Wait for Lord King to defeat the giant beast. As long as Lord King is here, we don’t have to worry about anything.”
"You're not wrong."
The Dragon People said, "The King has protected us for eight hundred years and can protect us for even longer. When he returns, we can still rule the world."
'Return.'
The Elders sneered; no matter who won, neither would survive.

"Is that all?"
Red-Haired Shanks sat on a rock, looking at Kid sprawled on the ground, coldly saying, "With such little strength, you dare to challenge us? You really are bold."

Not far from him, DJ Appear lay on the ground with a gunshot wound in his chest, while Jesus Cloth wiped the barrel from a distance.
Hawkins was also on the ground, and Beckman sat nearby smoking, his expression somewhat indifferent.
Killer Warrior Kira lay on the ground, coughing up blood, while in front of him, a man with a Red Dragon Tattoo was receiving bandaging.
As for Urouge, he was pinned down by Ragilu and unable to move.
He, already injured, didn't inflict much damage on the opponent.
The other pirates suffered countless casualties.
The entire Kid Alliance, including the five Supernovas, faced the Red-Haired Pirates and was completely annihilated.
"Let's go," Red-Haired Shanks said as he stood up. "Things have changed; we need to head over there."
"What about these people?" Beckman asked, looking at Kid and the others lying on the ground.
"Spare their lives," Shanks replied gently. "Kid, remember this: the Four Emperors are not playing games."
With that, Shanks left the scene, disappearing with the Red-Haired Pirates.
"Bastard," Kid muttered as he lay on the ground, his expression filled with shame, but he also recognized the gap between himself and the Four Emperors.

"I can strengthen myself through consumption."
Xiaqiu looked at the fire dragon on Dragon Road. "As long as I keep consuming the strong, I can become even stronger. If I were to eat those from the Navy and Whitebeard, you would no longer be my opponent. So let go, allow me to kill them, and then you can survive."

With that, the Fire Dragon lunged at him again, opening its massive jaws to bite down on Xiaqiu.
In that instant, Xiaqiu's form flickered, narrowly avoiding the Fire Dragon's attack.

The dragon's teeth struck the ground, creating a large crater as the earth cracked and splintered away.
But in that moment, Xiaqiu sprang forward with all six legs, returning to launch an attack aimed at the Fire Dragon's neck, biting down hard.

Xiaqiu's jaws clamped onto its neck, teeth sinking in slowly before tearing it apart.
"Did you not use Armament Haki?"
Xiaqiu paused for a moment; both he and the Fire Dragon had formidable physical defenses that could rival a combination of Black Blade and Armament Haki.
However, their offensive power was equally immense, far surpassing the hardness of Black Blade's teeth.
If Armament Haki were applied, neither would be able to withstand the other's attacks.
Yet he chose not to use Armament Haki, allowing himself to bite down freely.
"Why?"
Xiaqiu looked at the blood continuously pouring from the fire dragon's neck, unable to understand why he didn't use Armament Haki and why he would expose such a flaw to himself.
"We can't fight to a mutual destruction."

With that, Xiaqiu, seeing the relief in the other person's eyes, bit down hard on his neck, watching as the Fire Dragon gradually lost its breath. Xiaqiu let out a long howl.
Then he walked towards Navy, hoping to reach an agreement with them.
The battle was over; it was time to establish a new order.
