As Kaido approached, Xiaqiu suddenly turned and bit at him. Kaido had no time to dodge, so he extended his hands to brace against Xiaqiu's jaws.
However, in the water, Kaido had no leverage. The resistance from his legs against the water was insufficient to withstand Xiaqiu's force, and he was pushed away.
"Stop right there."
Kaido abruptly lifted his foot and kicked upward with all his might.
Boom.
His kick struck Xiaqiu's chin, causing its head to jerk upward. Taking advantage of this momentum, Kaido plummeted downward.
Don't run.
Xiaqiu immediately bent down to bite at him while its tentacles lunged toward Kaido.
But Kaido pushed off with his legs and shifted to the right, narrowly avoiding the tentacles that shot toward him from Xiaqiu's side, while also evading Xiaqiu's head.
Bang.
Kaido spun around and threw a punch that slammed into Xiaqiu's cheek, sending its head back.
However, the tentacles also hit him, but Kaido used that force to propel himself backward, closing in on Xiaqiu once more.
"Is it still not enough?"
Xiaqiu shook its head. Its massive form allowed for quick straight-line speed, but its lateral combat capabilities were too slow.
Kaido's speed had indeed decreased, but he was still able to evade by using his own attacks.
There was still some trouble.
Xiaqiu saw Kaido lunging at him and immediately sidestepped, kicking towards Kaido.
Bang.
Kaido's fists collided with Xiaqiu's foot, causing Xiaqiu's body to slide backward while Kaido was also pushed back.
However, Xiaqiu quickly swung his body, his head coming in for another strike as he turned to bite at Kaido.
Kaido used both hands to hold Xiaqiu's jaws apart, preventing his teeth from closing. Then he slowly applied pressure, his expression fierce. "I'll tear your mouth apart."
Under Kaido's immense strength, Xiaqiu's jaws were forced open. Even though Xiaqiu had an incredibly strong bite force, he could not withstand Kaido's body being pulled apart slowly.
Thus, Xiaqiu's three tentacles attacked Kaido, trying to overwhelm him. Kaido trembled; he was stable on land, but in the water, his form wavered, making him feel like a major general.
The two were at a stalemate, neither able to gain the upper hand.
But at that moment, Kaido's form shook, and his strength suddenly weakened. Seizing the opportunity, Xiaqiu lunged forward to bite Kaido.
Crack.
Kaido forcefully pushed against Xiaqiu, retreating violently, but he also left several blood marks on himself.
"What’s going on?"
Kaido stepped back, watching Xiaqiu as he gasped for breath, feeling his strength fading away.
"You've been poisoned."
Xiaqiu smiled and replied, "My teeth can release toxins, and the surrounding water has long since been infused with poison. You breathe through your gills, and as seawater enters your body and is filtered through your gill filaments, these Venom will naturally follow into your system. Now, it has already taken effect. This is highly toxic; just one gram can be lethal."
Merely slowing him down wasn't enough; he needed to weaken him further.
Xiaqiu opened his mouth during the fight, secretly releasing more toxins.
"So what?" Kaido retorted. "This little poison of yours isn't enough to kill me."
The diluted Venom, combined with Kaido's formidable resistance to toxins, couldn't inflict fatal damage on him—he wouldn't even be seriously injured.
"I'm not trying to kill you," Xiaqiu sneered. "I just need to make you a bit weaker, and that will suffice."
As soon as he finished speaking, Xiaqiu charged at him once more.

The Swiftbird Man shot towards Heckler, claws extended and ready to strike.
Whoosh.
Heckler narrowly dodged, the opponent's speed forcing him to be on high alert.
However, just as Heckler steadied himself, two Wave Slashes appeared before him.
Heckler immediately leaped into the air, his body shooting upwards, but Swiftbird Man came flying at him once again.
Heckler dodged to the right, but Dove Man had already grasped his long knife, intercepting Heckler and slashing out, sealing off Heckler's right arm.
"Damn it."
Heckler stomped his feet and leaped upwards, but a shadow loomed over him.
A massive Pterosaur covered his body, its long beak lunging towards Heckler.
Icarus had not transformed into a hybrid form; his hands and wings were fused together. If he were to transform into a hybrid form, the membrane of his wings would have to connect with his arms.
Thus, in this aerial battle, he could only fight in his beast form.
Yet, with a beak nearly three meters long and possessing immense attack power, it was currently enveloped in Armament Haki as it came crashing down towards Heckler.
Faced with this attack, Heckler crossed his arms in front of him.
Clang.
The sharp beak collided with Heckler's arms, which were also coated in Armament Haki, yet blood still seeped from the wounds.
Swiftbird Man and Dove Man lunged towards Heckler from both sides, attacking him simultaneously.
Heckler, however, used the force of the collision to increase his weight to a hundred tons, plummeting downward.

But Heckler blocked the attack with his Armament Haki, an invisible armor that allowed him to descend safely. He then countered with a punch that forced Swiftbird Man back, creating some distance between them.

Heckler glanced at the three figures surrounding him, a hint of worry crossing his face; he might not be able to hold out for long.
"But it seems like the wind is picking up?"
Heckler noticed dark clouds gathering overhead as a fierce wind swept in.
How could there be wind in the Doldrums?
Heckler looked toward Ace in the distance; the sea breeze was likely caused by the pressure difference from Ace's flames, and the clouds were probably due to condensed water vapor.
However, the presence of wind was good news for him.

"It's incredibly dark, and yet there's a wind?"
Queen and Ace separated once more, feeling the wind around them. With a smile, Queen said, "It seems your abilities are causing this. I wonder if it will rain."
"If it rains, that would be trouble," Ace replied, his expression darkening. Rain would definitely affect his flames.
"And you're reaching your limit, aren't you?" Queen continued. "You fought Kaido, and that move was terrifying; it must have drained a lot of your energy. Fighting in the air is exhausting too. By now, your abilities are probably more than half spent, and your Observation Haki is starting to strain as well. Hehehe, I wonder how much longer you can hold on?"
"This has nothing to do with you."
Ace suddenly swung his right hand, transforming it into a fiery whip that lashed out at Queen.
"Are you afraid to use Fire Fist?" Queen dodged swiftly, avoiding the attack before launching several Wave Slashes in return.
Ace evaded Queen's Wave Slashes and countered with his flames.
The two continued to battle fiercely, but Ace's speed was diminishing, and Queen began to gain the upper hand.

Ace began to heal his body, but the process was significantly slower.
At that moment, Queen suddenly appeared behind Ace, striking down towards Ace's head and chest.
It was over.
Faced with Queen's attack, Ace had nowhere to dodge and could only unleash flames in an attempt to push Queen back.
But Queen did not evade; she swung her dual blades down.
Just as Ace was about to be struck, a bolt of lightning fell from the sky, instantly hitting Queen.
