Nico Robin smiled and said, "I've seen your news in the papers lately, and I've been very worried about you. Now that I see you're okay, I can finally relax."
"I was worried about you too."
Xiaqiu extended his tentacles and patted Nico Robin's shoulder upon hearing this.
"But what you're planning to do next is very dangerous." Nico Robin suddenly stopped, her expression serious.
"Dangerous?"
Xiaqiu also halted and looked at Nico Robin.
Nico Robin gazed at Xiaqiu and said, "You want to kill Kaido, but that's not an easy task for you. I'm not underestimating you, but he's just too strong. It might be better to wait a little longer."
In Nico Robin's view, Xiaqiu's strength might not match that of Sabo or Ace, or even Law from the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

"What happened?"
Nico Robin was taken aback by the sight in the distance.

Xiaqiu immediately rushed back with Nico Robin. Upon their return, they found the trees reduced to ashes, and Heckler and others standing at a distance. In the wide-open space ahead, Ace and Sabo faced each other.
"What are they planning to do?" Nico Robin asked curiously.

Xiaqiu also looked toward the center of the arena, curious about how Sabo would fare without his Devil Fruit powers.
"Come on, Sabo."
Ace said with a grin, "Let’s have a spar after thirteen years."
"Alright."
Sabo looked at Ace and declared, "This time I will definitely win."
"That wouldn’t be good."
"Ace," he replied, raising his right hand. "President, you call the start."
"Alright."
Xiaqiu nodded and looked at the two of them, shouting, "Begin!"
With Xiaqiu's words, Sabo stomped his feet on the ground and instantly appeared in front of Ace, his right hand curling into a claw as he lunged at Ace.
"That was fast."
Ace's expression changed in surprise. He pushed off the ground and vanished, reappearing at a distance.
However, just as his feet touched the ground, Sabo appeared before him once more, striking out with another claw.
"That was fast."
Sabo's speed of movement was surprisingly on par with Ace's Shave technique.
Faced with this attack, Ace raised his right fist and struck out.
Boom.
The collision of fist and claw produced a loud sound, causing Ace to take a step back as he shook his hand. "That’s some serious power."
In terms of pure physical strength, Sabo surpassed him.
"What's wrong? Has your strength weakened?"
Sabo reappeared next to Ace and launched another attack.
Boom, boom.
Ace threw two punches, but they were easily deflected by Sabo. However, as Ace retracted his fists and made a move, Sabo had already closed in, clawing at him.
Faced with this claw, Ace narrowed his eyes slightly and took half a step back.
Whoosh.
Sabo's hand brushed past Ace, and then Ace aimed a punch at Sabo's cheek.
But Sabo reacted quickly, ducking down as his right hand slammed toward Ace's abdomen.

Ace had anticipated this move; he swiftly dodged the attack.
Boom, boom, boom.
Sabo continued to strike, but no matter how he attacked, Ace managed to evade every blow.
"Observation Haki."
Sabo quickly deduced that Ace's speed was about the same as his own, but his strength was slightly less, and his physical skills were inferior.
Yet Ace could dodge in advance; this was the hallmark of Observation Haki.
"Very good."
Sabo leaped into the air, his hands forming claws as he aimed for Ace's head.
However, Ace had already anticipated this strike and jumped back to avoid it.
Sabo's attack missed, but he did not retract his assault. Instead, he infused his hands with Armament Haki and continued to claw downward, striking the ground.
“Dragon's Breath”
Boom.
The entire ground shattered and exploded, the invisible force directly destroying the surface.
“What tremendous power.”
Ace swayed slightly, his stance unsteady. He could sense his opponent's movements but could not predict the future; he had not anticipated that the other party could create such a massive disturbance.
This strike was even more destructive than Sabo's attack on the giant Sea Kings.
But amidst the flying debris, claw shadows spread, closing in rapidly.
“I can't dodge.”
Ace foresaw this attack, but it was already too late to evade.
Boom.
Just as he was about to be caught, Ace’s head suddenly dispersed into flames.
Whoosh.
Sabo's right hand passed through the flames. Although it contained Armament Haki, the opponent had already scattered, rendering Armament Haki ineffective against him.
“Battle Axe.”
Ace kicked out with his right foot, transforming it into a massive flaming axe that swung toward Sabo.
Faced with this strike, Sabo immediately pulled back and jumped, but just as he leaped into the air.
Ace unleashed his right arm, transforming it into a massive fiery fist aimed at Sabo.
The fist morphed into two gigantic fire dragons, charging towards Sabo's position.

Sabo extended both hands forward, colliding with the fire dragons. The force of his strike dispersed the flames, and thanks to his Armament Haki, he remained unharmed. As he slowly descended to the ground, he asked in confusion, “Ace, why aren’t you continuing your attack?”
“You don’t have a Devil Fruit, and I’m using mine. That’s already unfair,” Ace replied, shaking his head.
Sabo looked at Ace and said, “But that’s still part of your strength.”
“I just want to fight you without using my Devil Fruit,” Ace insisted.
“But developing a Devil Fruit also takes time and should count as part of your strength,” Sabo countered. “In terms of overall strength, I admit I’m not as strong as you. In this match, I’ve lost.”
Without the Devil Fruit, Ace would not be a match for Sabo, falling slightly short.
However, with the Devil Fruit, Ace had fully developed his abilities, making him stronger than the current Sabo.
“Wait a moment.”
Before Ace could say anything else, Xiaqiu spoke from a distance: “Since you think it’s unfair for Ace to use his Devil Fruit, then let’s give Sabo a Devil Fruit too.”

Sabo turned to Xiaqiu, asking, “What do you mean by that, Mr. Xia?”
“Let’s give him the Dark-Dark Fruit.”
Xiaqiu looked at Christmas, who opened a door from her waist and pulled out a fruit covered in intricate patterns. She walked over to Sabo and handed it to him.
"Could it be Blackbeard's Dark-Dark Fruit?" Ace exclaimed in surprise.
Xiaqiu said, "Sabo, this fruit is for you, as a reward for your assistance this time. It might be the fruit that resonates with you the most in this world."
"Really?"
Sabo stared at the fruit, opened his mouth, and took a bite. "It tastes terrible."
He tossed the remaining Devil Fruit onto the ground, chewing laboriously before swallowing it down.
"Ugh, that was awful."
Sabo shook his head, and just as he was about to say something, he suddenly raised his hand.
Whoosh.
Black smoke spread from his hand as he stared blankly at the fruit. "This fruit feels strange."
"This is the Dark-Dark Fruit, one of the Natural Fruits," Xiaqiu explained from a distance. "But unlike other Natural Fruits, it cannot elementalize. However, it has several unique characteristics. The first is that it absorbs damage; all damage—whether from blades or thermal shockwaves—can be absorbed."
As Xiaqiu spoke, Ace shot a burst of flame toward Sabo.
Sabo immediately raised his hand, and the black mist enveloped the flame burst, causing it to vanish without a trace. However, Sabo couldn't help but shout, "That hurts!"
"I forgot to mention, this fruit doubles the pain you feel."
Xiaqiu chuckled and continued, "The second characteristic is that it can draw in other users of Devil Fruits and render their abilities ineffective."
Accompanied by Xiaqiu's words, a black mist enveloped Sabo's right hand as he reached out toward Ace.
A tremendous gravitational force emerged, pulling Ace through the air and landing him beside Sabo. Sabo then pressed his right hand against Ace, who was unable to transform into his elemental form.
Ace grinned and said, "Sabo, your attraction is still too weak, even weaker than the former Blackbeard. If you don't continue to develop it, many people will be able to break free."
As Ace spoke, he stomped his feet and leaped backward. As he left Sabo's misty range, flames erupted around him, restoring his control.
"To think you could achieve this level," Sabo exclaimed in astonishment.
"What a powerful ability."
In the distance, Kera watched this scene and couldn't help but click her tongue in admiration.
Xiaqiu continued, "The mist you release can contain a strong gravitational force, drawing objects in and then releasing them. However, the results can vary."
As Xiaqiu spoke, tendrils of mist spread out toward the nearby trees.
Boom.
The trees were gradually sucked into the mist, disappearing without a trace.
Then Sabo suddenly waved his hand, and the trees reappeared, but they had been reduced to mere fragments.
"Objects that are drawn in will be crushed," Xiaqiu explained. "You still need to develop other aspects of your abilities. Besides emitting attraction, the mist itself lacks any offensive power. But because of this, it is incredibly suited for you."
"Indeed, Sabo is exceptionally skilled in martial arts, making this fruit a perfect match for him," Nico Robin couldn't help but add.
Sabo's martial arts were formidable; having trained in Dragon Claw Fist, he could easily crush Bastille's Shark Slayer Blade and then take him down in an instant.
He possesses Armament Haki, which grants his arms exceptional defensive strength and hardness.
The Dark-Dark Fruit allows the user to draw others in, nullifying their abilities and creating a close-quarters combat environment. It can also absorb incoming attacks, preventing the user from taking damage.
In the original story, after acquiring the Flame-Flame Fruit, Sabo was able to hold his own against an Admiral for a short time, though it was somewhat taxing. Now, with the Dark-Dark Fruit, as long as he develops it for a while, he won’t be weaker than an Admiral.
Without using the fruit, Sabo is slightly inferior to the current Ace. However, once he becomes familiar with the Dark-Dark Fruit, he will surpass Ace, especially since Devil Fruit abilities counter each other. If Ace gets drawn in, even if it's just a restraint, the effectiveness of his Observation Haki will be significantly reduced.
Sabo's Armament Haki and martial arts skills exceed those of Ace. Therefore, with proper development, Sabo's combat power will increase dramatically.

“No need to thank me,” Xiaqiu replied while looking at Sabo. “But I hope that in the upcoming battles, you can give it your all.”
"Don't worry."
Sabo smiled and said, "Even if you don't give me the fruit, I will still do my best. However, since you gave me this fruit, just let me know if you need anything in the future, as long as it doesn't harm the interests of civilians, and I will come to support you."
"Okay."
Xiaqiu nodded. Being able to gain such a tremendous ally was indeed a significant reward.
