Chapter 210: Kizaru
After leaving Fishman Island, the ocean began to darken without the sunlight transmitted from Sun Tree Eve.
With the help of the Sea Vessel's searchlight, visibility was limited to a short distance.
However, in Xiaqiu's perception, many giant monsters lurked in the surrounding waters.

Three hours later, the Sea Vessel slowly emerged on the Surface of the Sea, greeted by a thunderclap that illuminated the view ahead.
The thick, low-hanging clouds seemed within reach, as lightning struck down in succession, leaving arcs in its wake while thunder rolled ominously.
In such harsh weather conditions, being out on the ocean made one feel insignificantly small.
The New World was indeed more perilous.
"Head that way," Nami pointed in a direction, and Ace immediately adjusted the sails while Mule took control of the helm, steering straight toward the distant horizon.
However, they had not traveled far when suddenly a Naval Battleship appeared in the distance.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The moment they spotted the Sea Vessel, the Battleship opened fire.
Cannonballs flew through the air, splashing into the surrounding waters before exploding and sending up countless columns of water.
"There’s a Naval Battleship. How did they find us so quickly?" Nami frowned.
"From the looks of it, that Battleship is a large one, not the giant Battleship of a Vice Admiral. It must be patrolling an area where we could surface and just happened to cross paths with us," Heckler observed as he scanned the sea. "Kizaru shouldn’t be on board."
"But with Kizaru's abilities, if the Navy has his direction, he can reach us in no time," Ace said gravely. "We need to get out of here fast."
Kizaru was one of the fastest Devil Fruit Users, capable of moving at the speed of light.
However, there are two ways to move: directly in a straight line or through refraction.
One can either reach a certain point directly or continuously refract, appearing along the refracted path.
Regardless of the method, his speed is close to that of light, and it won't take long for him to arrive.
Even if Xiaqiu is in the sea, it is extremely difficult to hinder him. Even with obstacles, he can continue moving through the air.
There is no need to hope that he will fall into the water.

With a roar, Xiaqiu broke through the waves, its six legs striking down powerfully.
Sea Walk, head cannon.
In an instant, Xiaqiu reached the side of the Battleship and concentrated its strength in its head, crashing into the Battleship.
Crack!
The outer hull shattered instantly, and then Xiaqiu slammed into the Keel, snapping it with a loud crack before charging straight through the ship.
With the impact of Xiaqiu, the massive dorsal fin sliced through the hull, splitting the entire ship in two.

The Naval Battleship broke apart and slowly began to sink.

The beam struck Xiaqiu's head; part of the energy refracted away, while the remaining powerful energy brought an extremely high temperature, instantly penetrating the area of Armament Haki and then hitting his scales.
However, Xiaqiu's scales had incredibly strong defense, and with Armament Haki continuously replenishing, he managed to withstand the blow.
It was impressive.
The ability of the Gleaming Fruit was too overpowered; its speed was astonishing, and at a certain level, the energy it contained was terrifying.
When his Observation Haki couldn't catch Kizaru's figure, it became difficult to defeat him.
If he wanted to run, almost no one could stop him; he seemed nearly invincible.
Unless it was Gunner, who could predict his trajectory and shoot at him right at the end of his direct path.
Xiaqiu blocked one attack, gritting his teeth as he continued to wait for another strike, this time directly using Iron Body.

In the next moment, two palms transformed into flames, rapidly expanding and then slowly merging into a massive wall of fire that obscured the sun and blocked the path ahead.

Columns of light struck the Flame Wall, but under the extreme heat of the flames, the density of the air changed, scattering the light in layers and continuously diminishing its intensity.
Moreover, the flames themselves contained immense heat, repelling the energy of the light and obstructing Kizaru's line of sight.
The light beams pierced through the flames, but the remaining energy that reached Xiaqiu was insufficient to even break through his scales.
"You all go ahead; I will hold off Kizaru."
Ace's legs turned into flames as he hovered in the air, clenching his fists and saying, "It's just right to test my training results from these past two years."
