In front of Xiaqiu were the Sea Beasts, which included the Orangutan, Sea Lion, Sea Giraffe, Walrus, and Sea Rhinoceros.
Each one was far larger than any Sea Beast Xiaqiu had encountered before. Compared to Moo Moo, they were at least twice as big, with lengths exceeding a hundred meters and heights around sixty to seventy meters.
Especially the Sea Giraffe, which was nearly two hundred meters long, truly a colossal creature compared to Xiaqiu.
"These Sea Beasts seem to be controlled by the New Fish-Man Pirates," Xiaqiu thought. In the original story, the New Fish-Man Pirates had an army that included a legion of Sea Beasts.
"Just a few Sea Beasts," Xiaqiu said with a cold smile as he watched the approaching creatures. He suddenly stomped down with six legs into the seawater, and his figure vanished.
"Sea Walk."
This was a technique Xiaqiu had developed in the water. Just as he could use Moon Step to step on air, why couldn't he walk on water?
The buoyancy of water was much greater than that of air, allowing for more power to be accumulated, but it was essential to be on solid ground.
Moreover, water itself provided buoyancy; even when Xiaqiu remained still, his body would maintain balance. Thus, using this technique in water didn't require consideration for support.
On land or in the air, he used half of his legs for stepping.
But in water, he could use all six legs simultaneously instead of in batches. This provided much stronger propulsion; even though water created resistance, his speed was still significantly faster than in air.
After consuming Admiral Gumeir, his speed with this technique reached one hundred meters per second, while Moon Step allowed him to cover forty meters in the same time.
With his own Sea Walk, he could cover nearly eighty meters in a second, not much slower than a sprint.
Moreover, if he leveraged the impact to continue moving forward, using inertia to glide through the water and buoyancy to counteract gravity, he could reach thirty meters in the second second.
By using Sea Walk once, he could achieve a distance of one hundred and ten meters.
Whoosh.
Xiaqiu flickered and instantly closed the distance to the neck of the Sea Giraffe, snapping his jaws down decisively.
The massive mouth bit off a large chunk of flesh, blood gushing out and instantly soaking the surrounding waters.

Xiaqiu took two more bites, severing half of its neck and cutting through the arterial blood vessels.
At that moment, other Sea Beasts were already closing in.
Xiaqiu immediately turned and leaped away into the distance.
Whoosh.
Xiaqiu created some distance and appeared far off, but ahead loomed a Sea Lion.
The Sea Lion stared at the suddenly appearing Xiaqiu, opening its massive jaws to bite down directly.
However, in response to this strike, Xiaqiu retracted the three legs away from the lion while the three legs closer to the lion pushed off forcefully, causing its body to shift laterally.
This was still the Sea Walk, but executed sideways, using three legs as propulsion for lateral movement.
However, due to the increased contact with the seawater, the resistance was greater, and the distance moved was significantly reduced compared to using the technique on land.
The Shave could still cover about seventy meters, reduced by thirty percent.
But with Sea Walk moving sideways, it could only travel twenty meters, a reduction of eighty percent.
That was sufficient.
With a snap, the Sea Lion bit into thin air as Xiaqiu once again utilized Sea Walk, disappearing into the distance before circling back and charging again.
This time, Xiaqiu managed to bite down on the massive Gorilla's arm, twisting its head sharply and tearing off a large chunk of flesh.
Before the next attack could come, Xiaqiu had already distanced itself again.
The six Sea Beasts had no means of resistance against Xiaqiu.
Their enormous bodies became an obstacle; their pursuit speed was too slow, and their methods of attack were limited. Their limbs had degenerated into fish fins, unlike those of true beasts.
"Absolutely useless."
Sitting on the Sea Giraffe, Eel Fishman Hammond watched the slowly descending giraffe with a grim expression, realizing that the Sea Beast had proven to be utterly ineffective.
Five giant Sea Beasts had been injured in an instant; at this rate, the Sea Beast army would be annihilated.
"Burp, leave it to me."
A voice came from behind Hammond, and a figure stood up slowly after letting out a drunken belch.
He had a tall stature, with two arms and eight Tentacles. As he stood up, his body swayed slightly.
"Lord Leopard, if you take action, then there’s no problem," Hammond said with a smile upon seeing this scene.
"Leave it to me; hold my flask tight."
Leopard Zang's eight Tentacles suddenly contracted, exerting tremendous force as they shot towards Xiaqiu.
Crack.
Xiaqiu bit down on the Sea Rhinoceros's body and was about to move when Leopard Zang instantly closed in from behind Xiaqiu.
His hands gripped two swords, and six of his eight Tentacles held long blades—eight in total—as they slashed down towards Xiaqiu.
Eight Sword Style.
The first swordsman of Fishman Island, Leopard Zang.
In an instant, his blade came crashing down.
However, Xiaqiu remained motionless, watching as a figure stepped in front of him to block the attack.
Clang, clang, clang...
All of Leopard Zang's blades were stopped.
“It’s you.”
Leopard Zang looked at the figure before him, surprise flickering across his face.
“Leopard Zang, what do you intend to do?”
The one standing in front of Leopard Zang was an Octopus Fishman named Eight.
With Eight's appearance, Xiaqiu slowly moved away from Gorilla and glanced at Eight before swiftly swimming behind him.
Seeing him, Leopard Zang's drunkenness faded significantly. “So it’s you, Eight. Didn’t you leave with Jinbei?”
“Of course not.”
Nonsense replied, “I was once a member of the Whitebeard Pirates. He went to pursue Ace; how could I possibly follow him?”
“Eight, are you going to stop us?”
Hammond approached, looking at Eight with a mocking tone. "Have you forgotten? Lord Leopard is the number one swordsman of Fishman Island."
"Is that so?"
Eight turned to Leopard Zang and said, "The last time we sparred was two years ago. I'm curious to see who truly is the number one swordsman of Fishman Island."
"There's no rush for that."
Leopard Zang glanced at Nonsense. "Did you see? Ace has arrived here and was captured by the Great Prince."
"Of course."
Upon hearing Leopard Zang's words, Eight's expression turned furious. "Fishman Island is under the protection of the Whitebeard Pirate Crew, yet they dare to capture Ace."
"So, how about we collaborate?"
Leopard Zang asked with a smile. "You and this giant beast can join us."
"Join?"
Eight furrowed his brows, looking at Leopard Zang. "Are you talking about the New Fish-Man Pirates?"
"That's right."
Leopard Zang replied with a grin. "Jinbei has left, and Hody Jones has a plan. We were still hesitating, but now that King's Army has captured Ace, we are ready to act. If you and the giant beast join us, we will gain powerful allies and rescue Ace and the others. Isn't that a win-win situation?"
Hachi hesitated upon hearing this, but suddenly sighed and said, "I don't want to go along with you, but I must rescue Ace Captain, so I plan to join you."
Hammond asked, "What about that giant beast behind you? Can you control it?"
"Of course," Hachi replied without hesitation. "I have met with him before, and we will join the New Fish-Man Pirates together."
Leopard Zang smiled and said, "Then come with me. I'll take you to meet Hody. Let's overthrow Neptune's rule and build a powerful Fishman nation."
As Leopard Zang spoke, Hachi's expression grew increasingly cold.
However, not far from Hachi, Xiaqiu grinned widely, his face filled with excitement.
