Chapter 176: Aokiji
"Who are you?"
Feeling the cold emanating from his arm, Vivi gritted her teeth and looked at the tall figure before her, his face obscured in shadow.
"My name is Kuzan."
The figure pressed his right hand against the ground, and a chair made of ice formed beneath him. He sat down and looked at Vivi. "You should have seen me before."
"Kuzan?"
Vivi was taken aback for a moment, then quickly realized, "One of the Admirals, Aokiji."
"That's right, that's my codename," Aokiji replied lazily.
"Admiral Aokiji, why have you come here?"
Vivi didn't doubt him much; the abilities he had just displayed were undoubtedly those of Aokiji.
But the question remained: why was he here?
Vivi felt a sense of unease in her heart.
An Admiral, the highest combat power of the Naval Headquarters, there were only three in the entire Navy, and one had come to find her.
It was worth noting that during the World Government Conference, when she and her father were taken to Naval Headquarters, they had only sent a Colonel. Other countries had officers ranked no higher than Major General based on their designated regions.
How could a general possibly come looking for her?
More importantly, he had come to find her at night.
"What's wrong? Aren't you going to ask?"

Vivi furrowed her brows and asked, "Admiral Aokiji, why are you asking me?"
Aokiji explained, "She appeared in Alabasta twice. The first time she killed Crocodile, and you inherited Crocodile's fruit. Not only that, but you've also been conducting Crocodile's business in Ailuma City. The second time, she attacked the port city Canola Flower, proving her close ties to Alabasta."
"I just happened to acquire the Sand-Sand Fruit," Vivi said. "Crocodile ran a very profitable casino. Now that he's dead, we can take over, revitalize the country, and restore a city. Why not do it? This cannot be taken as direct evidence."
"I don't have any evidence."
Aokiji replied, "I'm just explaining why I chose to ask you. I'm someone who avoids trouble and hope to get answers from you. If I can't, then I can only assume that you are colluding with Nico Robin."
"Just because of your assumptions, you think you can frame a country?" Vivi said coldly.
"Don't associate your Nefertari family with the entire nation."
Aokiji leaned forward and said, "I only mean that the royal family is in collusion with Nico Robin, and I will eradicate you."
"This..."
Vivi's expression turned grim upon hearing this.
Aokiji shrugged and said, "So I suggest you tell me."
"She..."
Vivi shook her head and said, "She's no longer here; you won't be able to find her."
"Can't find her?"
Aokiji said, "Alabasta is the next island on this route. A giant beast just appeared recently. Is Nico Robin not there?"
"That giant beast has nothing to do with Nico Robin anymore," Vivi said lightly.
"Who are you?" Aokiji raised an eyebrow.
"I can only tell you this much. If I reveal too much, I'll be killed. By then, even if you leave, our Alabasta Kingdom will still be destroyed," Vivi replied through clenched teeth.
"Can a force really destroy a country?" Aokiji nodded and then asked, "If it's not the Seven Warlords of the Sea, can you tell me? I will help you eliminate them. If even an Admiral can't handle them, then I suppose they have no reason to hide."
If it were the Seven Warlords of the Sea, then it would have to be reported to the World Government for judgment.
"Although they are not the Seven Warlords of the Sea, they possess strength that rivals them," Vivi sighed.
"Are you talking about Fire Fist Ace?" Aokiji grasped the key term, while Vivi frowned and said, "Our president is investigating his information, but I haven't heard that he joined any organization."

Aokiji stroked his chin and said, "Ace is the captain of Whitebeard's second division, so it's unlikely he would join you, but he might have some ideas."
"In that case," Aokiji looked at Vivi and continued, "I can help you eliminate this force."
"This..."
Vivi's eyes showed a flicker of interest, but she shook her head and replied, "It's impossible. Admiral Aokiji, your strength is beyond doubt, but there are eyes everywhere around us. As soon as the Navy makes any move, they will notice and retreat into hiding. They have always operated in the shadows with a well-established alarm system."
"Are there people from their side around you?" Aokiji asked curiously.
"Of course," Vivi said. "I have been under surveillance and forced to act according to their demands."
Aokiji pondered for a moment and said, "You inherited the Sand-Sand Fruit ability, right? There’s a powerful nation behind you. Do the people monitoring you have the capability to defeat you?"
"Most of them cannot," Vivi replied. "But they know the weaknesses of my ability."
Aokiji raised an eyebrow. "Weaknesses?"
Vivi answered honestly, "If I encounter water, I can't turn to sand. And my physical skills are quite lacking."
"I see."
Aokiji pondered for a moment and said, "From what you've said, I've deduced two things. First, the observer is nearby. Second, the observer possesses excellent martial arts skills, enough to erase your abilities with water and then defeat you. Since you are personally overseeing the casino, if they want to monitor you, then..."
He continued slowly, "This casino is one that you and the other party opened together, and they have sent people to watch you. At least within this casino, there should be quite a few of their people. Moreover, some of them can harm you. Is that woman named Cecilia one of them?"
Vivi's mouth dropped open in surprise as she asked, "How do you know?"

"The president?" Aokiji looked at Vivi. "Is their leader called president?"
Vivi shook her head and said, "I'm sorry, but I can't disclose more information. Please don't ask any further, Admiral Aokiji."
"Can you meet this president? Face to face?" Aokiji asked as he looked at Vivi.
Vivi nodded and replied, "I can meet him, but it's quite troublesome. I need to call him to confirm a time and then go to a designated island—Elven Island. Only there can I see him, and it must be for something important."
"It seems he values you highly."
Aokiji pondered for a moment and said, "You meet him, and I'll take care of him for you. That will solve this trouble once and for all."
Vivi smiled and replied, "But there are eyes everywhere."
"You don't have to do anything."
Aokiji looked at Vivi and continued, "I'll create a Life Card for you to follow from a distance. When the time comes, capture the president and then return to help you catch Cecilia."
Vivi's expression turned troubled as she said, "There are more than just these few people."
Aokiji shrugged and said, "I can help you establish a security post here and have a Naval Officer come to assist. This area seems to be under Tina's jurisdiction, right? She's quite capable; although she's just a Colonel, some Commodores aren't her match. More importantly, she has her own Black Cage Fleet, which should be enough to intimidate the surrounding pirates. With you and the Alabasta Kingdom backing it up, I think it would be sufficient to ensure safety here."
Vivi's expression showed some interest as she looked at Aokiji and said, "Actually, I know some things about Baroque Works."

"It was just a test."
Aokiji waved his hand and said, "If you don't tell me, I won't bother to kill you."
"But you must kill them."
Vivi said helplessly, "If I reveal their identities and you don't kill them, I'll be the only one who dies."
"Don't worry."
Aokiji's expression turned serious as he said, "I will help you deal with them, once and for all."
"I hope so."
Upon hearing this, Vivi looked out the window where a crescent moon hung, casting a cold light down.
