Xiaqiu was somewhat surprised; Ace was supposed to arrive at Drum Island two months after Blackbeard left Drum Kingdom, but he had come half a month early.

Heckler stepped out of the submarine and ordered his subordinates to bring the fruits aboard. He turned to Cecilia and said, 'There's a mission; I need you to come with me.'
'Okay.'
Cecilia had no doubts and helped carry the fruits into the cabin.
Vivi curiously asked, 'Are you going because of the information we just received? Are you going to confront Blackbeard's Pirate Crew?'
The intelligence personnel had contacted her to inform Heckler, so she was aware of the situation involving Blackbeard's crew.
'That's right,' Heckler replied, looking at Vivi. 'Princess Vivi, the president needs your assistance.'
'Do I have to go too?'
Vivi frowned; she didn't want to get involved in Baroque Works' more secretive operations."
"You don't need to follow us."
Heckler replied, "The president wants you to go to Second Island to monitor the prisoners and prevent their escape."
"I see."
Vivi felt relieved; she naturally knew the identities and dangers of those people. Since it involved her, she didn't refuse.
However, Vivi was a bit curious. Did Baroque Works mobilize many people for this operation? Princess Vivi asked curiously, "Who else is going on this mission? Is the president going?"
"Cecilia, myself, and Christmas," Heckler said. "Of course, the president is going as well."

"Yes," Ace replied with a grin. "He's afraid of causing trouble, so he didn't come ashore with me. He went underwater to hunt and should be back on the ship by now."
"Underwater?" Christmas tilted his head in confusion.
Meanwhile, on Ace's ship somewhere off Drum Island, a Fishman with six arms was sitting there, rubbing his body and complaining, "It's so cold! Why hasn't Ace come back yet? He didn't fall asleep again, did he?"
