Chapter 151: The Capture 0

"So what's your plan? Are you willing to tell me the training methods for Six Styles and Life Restoration?" 0

Xiaqiu lay on the ground, looking at the three figures in front of him. 0

At this moment, the three were imprisoned on Island Five. Lucci was confined in a Sea Prism Stone Cage, sitting inside with his usual cold expression, but his heart felt like it had turned to ash. 0

Kaku had his limbs broken and was now lying on a stretcher after treatment, unable to move his body. 0

Califa was shackled with handcuffs and leg irons, sitting there with disheveled clothes and a somewhat distressed look. 0

"What difference does it make whether I tell you or not?" 0

Lucci looked at Xiaqiu from within the cage and asked with a cold sneer, "If I tell you, will you let all three of us live?" 0

"No." 0

Xiaqiu answered straightforwardly, then added, "But you can buy yourselves some more time." 0

There was no way he would let these three leave alive; they were too united and steadfast in their duties. 0

Letting one person go was too dangerous. 0

"I've long been prepared for death; I don't care about this little bit of time." 0

Lucci replied coldly. 0

"Let it be, if we die, we die together. There's nothing wrong with that." 0

Kaku bore the brunt of the injuries, yet a faint smile lingered at the corner of his mouth. 0

"After joining P9, we were already mentally prepared for this," Califa said coldly. 0

Xiaqiu remarked, "But if you’re willing, I can make your deaths quick and painless. Otherwise, I will torment you severely. The methods you use to torture others can easily be turned against you." 0

Upon hearing this, Lucci raised an eyebrow slightly, but his expression remained largely unchanged. 0

Kaku snorted softly and replied, "You can try." 0

Califa suddenly opened her mouth as if to bite her own tongue, but before she could do so, a hand grasped her chin. 0

"Thinking of committing suicide?" 0

Bola mocked her as he held her mouth shut, pulling out a handkerchief from his pocket and stuffing it into her mouth. "It's too late for that now." 0

"It seems you've considered the possible consequences." 0

Xiaqiu's gaze shifted away from Califa as he continued, "Don't worry. Regardless of whether the negotiations succeed or not, I won't torture you. I'll give you a swift end." 0

"But we won't," Lucci said flatly. 0

"Don't be in such a hurry." 0

Xiaqiu smiled and added, "If you’re not afraid of death, why not think about others?" 0

"What do you mean?" Lucci couldn't help but furrow his brow as he looked at Xiaqiu. 0

Xiaqiu replied, "P9 isn't just you guys. What about Gabura, Embrace, and Ominous, who are tasked with assassinating Revolutionary Army Officers? What if it's them?" 0

"How do you know this?" 0

Lucci's eyes widened as he stared at Xiaqiu. 0

Califa and Kaku also wore expressions of disbelief. 0

Xiaqiu smiled and said, "Don't worry about how I know. Just promise me you'll let them go, and I will spare them. What do you say?" 0

Lucci's face darkened. "They are prepared for death." 0

Xiaqiu countered, "What about their mission? If they fail, it will expose P Department's information. Can you really just stand by and do nothing?" 0

Lucci snorted coldly, falling silent. 0

"Not them." 0

Xiaqiu continued, "What if I attack a Naval Battleship? Vice Admiral, Major General, Colonel—how many do you think I could kill? And what if I attacked civilians? With my strength, how many lives could I take?" 0

The three of them grew increasingly pale at these words. If this beast targeted anyone below the rank of Vice Admiral, there would be virtually no one to stop him at sea. 0

If he attacked civilians, the casualties would be in the tens of thousands. 0

They couldn't fathom the consequences. Lucci's gaze darkened, and his expression showed signs of hesitation. 0

Seeing this scene, Xiaqiu looked at Bola and said, "Show him the thing." 0

Bola nodded, pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket, and handed it to Lucci. 0

"What is this?" 0

Lucci took the paper and saw that it contained a table listing the leaders of each branch and their locations. 0

Xiaqiu said, "If you don't agree, I will kill you and then go after those Vice Admirals. Not only that, I will find Embrace and continue to inquire about Six Styles. If they refuse, I will eliminate them all. If p9 doesn't give us what we need, then I'll go after p8. I believe someone will eventually provide me with the training methods for Six Styles." 0

"You..." 0

Hearing this, Lucci felt a sense of helplessness rise within him for the first time. 0

Xiaqiu continued, "Teach me Six Styles, and you can live until we master it. You can hope that the World Government will send someone to find you; perhaps you'll survive." 0

Lucci looked at Xiaqiu and asked, "I have a question. How do you know so much about p9?" 0

P was the intelligence division of the World Government, with p9 being one of its most secretive branches. Many people were even unaware of p9's existence. 0

Yet he seemed to have detailed information about everyone, down to every last detail; this was no simple understanding. 0

Xiaqiu shrugged and said, "I guess you’ve figured it out." 0

"You just mentioned seven names, but only Commander Spandam wasn't included. Is it him?" 0

Lucci looked at Xiaqiu, his gaze somewhat cold. 0

"Anyway, you all will die. It doesn't hurt to tell you, our partner in P9 is Spandam," Xiaqiu replied. 0

"That guy." 0

Lucci clenched his fists, filled with anger, but still asked suspiciously, "How did you get in touch with him?" 0

Xiaqiu said, "It's simple. Spandam's father was once a member of the Oharra Demon Extermination Order and was threatened by Nico Robin. We captured Spandam and got everything we wanted. Although he doesn't know Six Styles, he is still somewhat useful." 0

"Is that so?" 0

Lucci frowned, realizing that the other party knew many hidden secrets, including Spandam's father and the involvement of the Demon Slayer Order. 0

He had indeed acted alongside Nico Robin before, which connected the dots. 0

Lucci looked at Xiaqiu and asked, "So you killed Nico Robin to cooperate with Spandam?" 0

"That's right." 0

Xiaqiu nodded and said, "Now that you know all this, what is your decision? Will you tell us about Six Styles and Life Restoration?" 0

Lucci hesitated for a moment and said, "Sorry, I refuse." 0

"Why? Are you not afraid that I will attack others?" 0

Xiaqiu looked at him in surprise; given the situation he was in, why did he choose to refuse? 0

"Of course I'm worried." 0

Lucci said, "But every time you attack, you expose more clues and elevate your status in the eyes of the World Government. They will send stronger opponents to stop you. In this process, many may die, but that is just a consequence you must bear for trying to kill you. Gaining the Six Styles and Life Restoration will only increase your strength and make you a greater threat." 0

At this point, Lucci looked at Xiaqiu, narrowing his eyes. "So I won't give you what you want." 0

"Very well." 0

Xiaqiu nodded and then turned to Bola. "Kill him." 0

"Understood." 0

Bola stepped forward, drew the gun from her waist, and aimed it at Lucci. 0

Lucci resignedly closed his eyes. Just as Bola was about to pull the trigger, a loud thud echoed as Califa crashed to the ground, struggling. 0

"Wait, don't kill Lucci. We—" 0

Kaku spoke up. 0

"Huh?" 0

Xiaqiu was somewhat surprised as Bola lowered her weapon. 0

"Kaku, what are you doing?" Lucci asked angrily. 0

"Boss Lucci, you have to admit that his threat just now makes sense; the casualties are too great. Not only that, we will eventually have someone like Spandam working with them. They could capture Embrace, they could capture Gabura, and they could attack other P Departments." 0

Kaku squinted his eyes and said, "More importantly, learning the Six Styles is not something that can be accomplished overnight. As long as there is time, anything is possible." 0

With time, they had a chance to survive, and there were countless things they could do in the process. 0

The biggest difference between Lucci and his own crew was that he adhered to Dark Justice. Weakness was original sin; he had once killed five hundred soldiers in order to capture a pirate. 0

In his view, the threat posed by Xiaqiu was too great. As long as he could eliminate him, sacrificing a portion of people was acceptable. 0

However, for Kaku and Califa, the immense loss was hard to bear, and with Xiaqiu taking their companion's place, their worries deepened. 0

Not only that, but there might also be a glimmer of hope for survival. First, they needed to stay alive and then look for an opportunity to escape. 0

The Six Styles were skills mastered by many. Handing them over in exchange for the safety of others was a difficult decision. 0

Weighing both sides, Kaku chose to agree. 0

"But you won't have Life Restoration," Xiaqiu said coldly as he looked at Kaku. 0

"I can teach you Life Restoration, but I have two conditions," Lucci suddenly interjected. 0

"Conditions?" 0

Xiaqiu turned to Lucci and replied coldly, "You have no bargaining power." 0

Lucci stated firmly, "This is our bottom line." 0

"Fine." 0

Xiaqiu looked at Lucci and said, "Take a look." 0

Lucci replied, "I need you to provide us with a copy of the news every day." 0

"A newspaper?" 0

Xiaqiu understood that he wanted the newspaper to check on information from the outside world, likely to make some plans based on that information. He said, "I can give it to you, but it must be delayed by one day." 0

"That's fine." 0

Lucci hesitated for a moment but agreed to the condition. Then he asked, "You should also learn the Six Styles, right? Since you've mastered Armament Haki, you definitely won't miss out on the Six Styles." 0

Xiaqiu glanced at him, nodded, and said, "Of course." 0

Lucci continued, "That's good. We will teach you one technique at a time. We won't teach you a second technique until you've mastered the first. Life Restoration must be left for last, and you must not kill any of us." 0

"Agreed." 0

Xiaqiu nodded. He understood what the other party was planning—two objectives: they were afraid that if he taught his subordinates, they would become useless to him and could potentially be killed. 0

Secondly, they believed he would learn slowly or might not be able to master it at all, allowing them to live indefinitely. 0

However, Xiaqiu didn't see this as a problem. If he couldn't learn it himself but allowed his subordinates to learn these techniques, it would pose a threat to him. Therefore, Xiaqiu wouldn't agree and said, "I can agree to this." 0

"Then let's leave it at that for now." Lucci closed his eyes and fell silent. 0

"Take Kaku and Califa to the dungeon," Xiaqiu commanded Bola. 0

"Good." 0

Bola found the individuals and brought Kaku and Califa to the underground prison, where Xiaqiu would personally guard the exit. 0

Xiaqiu turned to leave when Lucci suddenly opened his eyes and asked, "What do you really want?" 0

Xiaqiu paused and looked at Lucci. 0

Lucci slowly replied, "You are not human. Regardless of whether you possess intelligence, it is difficult for people to recognize you. You wield power, control Haki, and learn Six Styles—what is your ultimate goal?" 0

"Of course, it's to become stronger." 0

Xiaqiu revealed a sinister smile, showing his sharp teeth as he said, "To become the strongest in the world and be a part of this world's history." 0

"Is that so?" 0

Lucci snorted coldly and said, "Then I can rest easy." 0

"Why is that?" Xiaqiu looked at Lucci. 0

Lucci replied, "Because you will never achieve it. On your path to becoming the strongest, someone will kill you." 0

"Then we shall see." 0

Xiaqiu smiled and turned to leave. 0

“P9's Lucci has been captured. Califa and Kaku have taken the nearby Navy to rescue him, but the battleship was destroyed, and the three have vanished without a trace.” 0

At the World Government headquarters, the Elders gathered, looking at the confidential report in front of them. Some appeared angry, others sad, and some troubled. 0

“That Lucci was actually captured. Has anyone searched the target location? What clues were found?” 0

The green-skinned man in front replied, “A search has already been conducted. We located the island they were heading to, and there are signs of a fire at the scene, but very little information was left behind. However, there was a document that wasn’t completely burned, which mentioned the name 'Pluton.'” 0

“Pluton?” 0

One of the Elders furrowed his brow and said, “Lucci went to Water Seven to seek out Pluton. Is their target Pluton?” 0

“We cannot allow them to find Pluton; otherwise, the World Government will face a major crisis.” 0

“Moreover, Lucci's mission was highly confidential. How could it have been compromised?” 0

“Therefore, it’s likely there is an insider. This matter must be thoroughly investigated.” 0

“Furthermore, anyone capable of defeating Lucci must possess extraordinary strength. The forces daring enough to seek Pluton are not to be underestimated; thus, our enemies will surely be formidable.” 0

“Could it be the Revolutionary Army?” 0

“It’s possible. With their capabilities, they could easily pull this off. We must remain vigilant.” 0

“Deploy P to investigate starting from Water Seven and P9. Ensure that at least one Admiral from the Navy is on standby at all times.” 0

After their discussion, the Elders issued a series of commands. 0

“Bola, you will be responsible for monitoring the island from now on. Make sure no one leaves without permission, and prohibit them from contacting the outside world,” Xiaqiu said, looking at Bola. “You will also personally handle the communication with Baroque Works; do not use the Transponder Snail.” 0

“I understand,” Bola replied seriously. 0

Xiaqiu turned to Cecilia and asked, “How is your injury?” 0

Cecilia waved her arm and said, “The wound isn’t too severe now that I’m recovering. I’ve received treatment and can still fight.” 0

“Good,” Xiaqiu responded. “During this time, you need to stay on the island and keep watch. You will also learn the Six Styles as soon as possible.” 0

“Don’t worry, I’ll do my best,” Cecilia nodded. She was very eager to learn the Six Styles; they suited her perfectly. The Moon-Cutting Step and Storm Leg would be immensely powerful in her hands. 0

Gaining such strength was also why she was willing to work for Xiaqiu even after learning his true identity. 0

Not only the Six Styles, but Haki as well—Xiaqiu had promised to teach her that too. 0

“Let’s leave it at that for now,” Xiaqiu said, intending to leave when a voice interrupted, “I need to leave.” 0

“Vivi?” 0

Xiaqiu looked into the distance as Vivi stumbled out of the room, her expression somewhat pale. “You’re too injured; you need to rest.” 0

“I have to leave. Three days outside is already my limit. Besides, I need to prevent any accidents. The upcoming searches will be intense. Even though you silenced everyone, if there’s a survivor, they will target you. My father and the others know about Baroque Works and your connection, so I must return in time to stop any information from spreading,” Vivi said, looking at Xiaqiu. 0

“I didn’t expect you to think of us,” Xiaqiu asked with a smile. 0

Vivi snorted lightly and replied, “I just don’t want to implicate Alabasta.” 0

“Is that so?” 0

Xiaqiu gazed at Vivi and asked, “Just like how you insisted on killing Kaku?” 0

Vivi was taken aback for a moment before sighing. “That’s right.” 0

Xiaqiu asked with concern, “But what about your injuries?” 0

“Alabasta has doctors; you don’t need to worry about that.” 0

Vivi continued, “As for the journey back, I can manage.” 0

Xiaqiu nodded. “Then I’ll have Bola take you back. As for Six Styles, your current physical condition isn’t suitable for learning it yet. Once Cecilia learns it, I’ll have her teach you from the basics.” 0

“Okay.” 0

Vivi nodded. Her eagerness for Six Styles was no less than Cecilia’s. 0

Mastering the Six Styles can compensate for the shortcomings of Devil Fruit Abilities, significantly enhancing one's strength. 0

Only by becoming stronger can one better protect their country. 0
