Chapter 135: Nefertari Vivi
In Alabasta, at the entrance of Ailuma City, a group of pirates stood arrogantly, surrounded by four or five guards and three or four soldiers.
In addition to them, a circle of soldiers and guards surrounded the area, yet no one took action; they simply waited in silence.
"Get the food and water out now, and prepare One Hundred Million Berries. Otherwise, I'll kill you one by one," the Pirate Leader shouted, slamming his mace down onto the ground.
Boom.
A large pit formed in the ground, with cracks spreading outwards.

He stood there in shock, staring into the distance as a figure approached.
It was a girl with blue hair, draped in a pink cloak and wearing a white robe. Her left arm was missing, while her right arm bore a golden cuff.
As she walked forward, the sand flew back to her, forming a pristine white arm.
"Princess Vivi."
Seeing her approach, the soldiers parted to make way as Vivi stepped forward.
"Princess?"
The Pirate Leader's body was bleeding profusely as he leaned on his Mace, gazing at her with a dazed expression, trying to see more clearly.
"You're not dead yet?"
Seeing him still standing there, Vivi suddenly waved her arms, transforming them into swirling sands that formed two massive circles floating in front of her.
"Death Sand Wheel."
Vivi calmly uttered those four words, and the two circles began to spin rapidly, heading towards the pirates.
"No, don't!"
Some pirates, witnessing the approaching sand, displayed expressions of fear.
"Break through it!"
One pirate drew his sword and slashed at the sand.
But it was futile; the two sand wheels sliced through the pirates' bodies, causing them to collapse to the ground, covered in deep wounds.
"Ah, Heckler went back, and Christmas has left for vacation. The rest are no match for me; I’ll have to take matters into my own hands."
Vivi shook her head helplessly as she looked towards the distant members of Baroque Works and said, "You all handle this."
With that, Vivi transformed her lower body into a whirlwind of sand and shot forward.
"It was that easy to deal with the pirates."
"Princess Vivi is amazing."
"Long live Vivi!"
The surrounding residents couldn't help but celebrate, and even the soldiers looked on with respect.
Vivi returned to the casino, descending directly from above. The sand transformed back into her legs, and her shoes were restored to their original state.
It had taken her quite a while to achieve the assimilation of her clothing. (Everyone knows that when a Natural System Devil Fruit User transforms into a natural element and then reverts, their clothes remain intact. Vivi stepped onto the rooftop of the casino and walked down the spiral staircase. Upon seeing her, someone immediately called out respectfully, "Princess Vivi."

Vivi removed her cloak and hung it on a coat rack before walking toward another door beside her. She pushed it open and entered.
This was a spacious bedroom with a floor-to-ceiling window that could be opened, draped with purple curtains. In the center stood a large bed adorned with white gauze curtains. In one corner were green plants that added a vibrant touch of greenery.
A vanity table, mirror, wardrobe, and sofa were all present.
There was another door leading to the bathroom and washroom.
This was Vivi's residence in Alabasta. Determined to take charge of dealings with Baroque Works, she decided to stay in the casino. Initially intending to prepare just one room, she ended up constructing such an extravagant living space that rivaled her home in Alabasta.
Having lived in dilapidated houses while staying with Baroque Works for some time, this place felt quite luxurious to Vivi.
However, after just a few days of living here, she had grown fond of it.
Vivi placed the gold ring from her hand on the vanity table, rubbed her wrist lightly, and walked toward the bathroom.
After coming out of the bathroom, Vivi made her way back to the office and sat behind the desk to handle some paperwork.
At that moment, there was a knock at the door—knock knock.
"Come in."
"Vivi!" she exclaimed as the door swung open, and a figure stepped into the room.
"Heckler? You're back?"
Seeing Heckler, Vivi was somewhat surprised, her gaze falling on him as she asked, "Are you hurt?"
"Just a little scratch."
Heckler walked over to the table and looked at Vivi. "There's something I want to ask your opinion on."
"What is it?" Vivi inquired curiously.
Heckler replied, "Our president wants to meet with you."
"The president?"
Vivi was taken aback by this statement. "The president wants to see me?"
"That's right."
Heckler nodded. "The Vice President sent me to inform you and to ask if you would be willing to meet with the president."
"What does your president want with me?" Vivi frowned. "Isn't it only the Vice President who knows what he looks like?"
Heckler said, "He hasn't specified what he wants; he just mentioned that it would only be beneficial for you, not harmful."
"I see."
Vivi furrowed her brow, lost in thought.
Currently, they were collaborating, and their interactions had been quite good; he wouldn't possibly turn against her.
Besides, she could fly, so even if danger arose, she could leave calmly.
If the opponent's strength could disregard his own abilities, then he could be killed at any moment.
Since there were only benefits to be gained, the likelihood of him seeking him out or wanting to harm him was very low.
"Princess Vivi," she nodded, "I am willing to meet him."
"Good, then please follow me, Princess Vivi."
Heckler immediately stood up and walked outside, waiting at the door.
Vivi picked up her cloak, secured it, and followed Heckler out of the casino. They arrived at the shore and boarded the Sea Vessel.
The Sea Vessel sailed away into the distance, and before long, they reached an island.
"Is this the headquarters of Baroque Works? It's surprisingly close to Alabasta," Vivi said, looking at the island in front of her with some astonishment.
"It's just one of their outposts," Heckler replied. "The Vice President occasionally comes here, and there are Billionaires on standby, but generally, they can only stay in houses near the Coast."
"That makes sense..." Vivi nodded. The president of Baroque Works was incredibly mysterious; it wouldn't be that easy to find him.
"This way," Heckler said as he led Vivi deeper into the forest, where they encountered Bola.
"Princess Vivi," Bola greeted with a smile before turning to Heckler. "Thank you for bringing Princess Vivi here; you can head back now."
"Yes."
Heckler turned and walked away, disappearing into the distance.
"Follow me."
Bola led Vivi into the house, arriving at the back wall of the courtyard. After opening the door, he said, "The president is inside. You can go in."
"Okay."
Vivi stepped into the courtyard and immediately spotted a giant beast lying there.
"Nico Robin's beast?"
Vivi looked at the massive creature, not worried that it could harm her. "Or is it R's beast?"
Vivi pondered, glancing around, feeling somewhat puzzled.
The president wanted to see her, but where was he? There was no one else here besides her.
"What are you looking for, Princess Vivi?" Xiaqiu asked gently as she watched Vivi.
"Where's the president? Didn't he want to see me?"
Vivi instinctively replied, but the next moment she froze, staring at the giant beast before her in astonishment. "You can talk?"
"Of course," Xiaqiu replied softly.
"A talking beast?"
Vivi's eyes widened as she looked at Xiaqiu. "I've never seen one before."
"But what about the president?"
"Vivi looked around and asked, 'Isn't the president supposed to meet me? Where is he?'"
"I am right in front of you!" Xiaqiu replied softly.
"Wait, you are the president of Baroque Works?"
Hearing this, Vivi froze in place, unable to help but shake her head. "No way, this can't be true. I must have misheard."
The president of Baroque Works is not a person but a fierce beast—how is that possible?
"You did not mishear."
Xiaqiu looked at her indifferently, his voice booming. "I am the president of Baroque Works; you can call me R."
