Chapter Eighteen: Fierce Battle
Lido pushed off with his legs, transforming into a swift arrow that shot towards the Water Surface.

Thus, Lido gripped the lower end of the Stingray Spear with his left hand and pushed it forward while pressing down on the upper part with his right hand. He tucked his head in and leaned back, bracing himself.

At the moment Xiaqiu lunged forward, the Stingray Spear transformed into a ramp. Xiaqiu collided against it, and the tremendous force transferred directly to Lido.
Lido's upper body was tilted backward, and Xiaqiu's attack was aimed at his upper half. As he moved downstream, it caused most of his body to be positioned beneath Xiaqiu's jaw.
Xiaqiu pressed down, and Lido blocked with the Stingray Spear while simultaneously redirecting his strength downward.

Lido's body relaxed instantly, and he was pushed downstream, evading the range of Xiaqiu's jaws and positioning himself below Xiaqiu.

Lido felt as if he had been hit by a shield, the air in his mouth expelled forcefully.
