Kitagawa Yoshimi couldn't contain her excitement. The news alert flashing on her phone told her that her favorite manga, "Hunter x Hunter," would be continuing. Especially with Curarpikt finally able to disembark, she was filled with anticipation.
"I have to rewatch all the episodes tonight and relive the emotions of that time!" Kitagawa Yoshimi decided to herself, as she walked down the cable car after school.
She stepped into the house, eagerly ran to her room, and searched for that long-lost comic book. However, no matter how she searched, those familiar book spines never appeared in sight.
"Strange, I remember it was right here," Kitagawa Yoshimi frowned and sighed in disappointment at the bookshelf.
"Three years ago, I specifically flipped through them, how could I not find them?" She touched the back of her head somewhat unwillingly.
Just then, a flash of light instantly pierced through the dim room, illuminating the entire space. Before Kitagawa Yoshimi could react, she was sucked into a vortex.
When she regained consciousness, she found herself in a completely unfamiliar environment. Surrounding her were towering trees and dense jungle, the air filled with the dampness and the scent of nature.
"Where am I?" Kitagawa Yoshimi looked around in confusion, then suddenly heard voices not far away.
"Hehe, I'm definitely going to catch a big fish today!" A boy's voice came, sounding full of confidence and anticipation.
She followed the sound and saw a boy wearing a simple outfit, with a hat made of branches and leaves on his head. He was sitting on the trunk of a huge tree, completely focused on fishing.
"Isn't that... Gon?" Kitagawa Yoshimi recognized the boy in surprise; he was the male lead in "The Hunter."
When Kitagawa Yoshimi approached the boy, she became more and more certain that he was indeed the familiar Gon.
" Gon, where are we?" she couldn't help but ask at last.
Gon looked at her in surprise and slowly replied, "This is the forest of Whale Island, Chi, what's wrong with you? How could you not know?"
Kitagawa Yoshimi was shocked and immediately realized the seriousness of the situation. She quickly found a clear water pool and looked at her own face, realizing that her appearance had changed.
"What... what's going on?" She could hardly believe her eyes.
At that moment, Gon walked over, looking puzzled, and said, " Chi, you're my sister! Did you just go steal the eggs of the TuoSa Tower Fliying Beast, or did you accidentally get caught?"
Kitagawa Yoshimi was startled by his words, but then realized that this might be the best way to explain her sudden appearance here.
"The egg of TuoSa Tower Fliying Beast?" She was puzzled, but as she touched the large pouch at her waist, she did indeed feel an egg.
"Yeah, that's the most dangerous beast on this island. No one dares to approach them. But haven't you always wanted to prove yourself?" Gon's eyes flashed with a hint of concern.
Kitagawa Yoshimi (or should I say Chi ) sighed inwardly and decided to go along with his words.
"Yes, I remember now, I must have had amnesia. Thank you for reminding me, big brother." Kitagawa Yoshimi carefully recalled, and memories flooded her mind. She remembered that her name was Chi, and how she had stolen that egg.
But Kitagawa Yoshimi wondered how she could end up in a manga book and randomly cross over, becoming Gon's sister in "Hunter x Hunter." I remember that Gon didn't have a sister, right?
Chi forced a smile and said, "Brother, I'm sorry for making you worry."
Gon seemed to believe her and showed a relieved expression, "That's great, I thought I would have to face Aunty Mito alone."
On the vast sea, there is a small island called "Whale Island." This island is not only Yoshimi, but also has various mysterious natural phenomena and creatures.
Among them, the most fascinating are the rare exotic birds and the endless magical realms on the island.
In this mysterious place, there is a boy named Gon, accompanied by his sister Chi.
Gon is wearing a hat made of twigs and leaves, and is dressed in simple clothes made of leaves, almost blending in with nature.
On this day, he is sitting on the trunk of a huge tree in the forest, holding a homemade fishing rod with a bait attached to the tip, completely focused on fishing.
"Hehe, today I will definitely catch the king of the pond!" Gon's eyes widened, his mouth turned up, full of confidence.
At that moment, the water suddenly rippled, and the bait began to show a slight movement. Gon's eyes instantly became unusually sharp.
"Here it comes! Here it comes!" he exclaimed excitedly, his muscles tensed like a bow about to be released.
"Swish, swish, swish—" The line on the fishing rod instantly extended, making a rapid sound.
After a fierce struggle, Gon finally pulled the huge fish onto the shore. The fish was five times bigger than Gon in length and size.
"Brother, you're amazing!" Chi said.
"Haha, I did it!" Gon cheered as he hoisted the huge fish onto his shoulder and excitedly headed towards the direction of the village. Chi followed closely behind.
As they entered the village, they immediately attracted a chorus of astonishment and cheers.
"Wow, Gon, how is this fish so big!" The children in the village gathered around, looking at the huge fish with amazement on their faces.
"How did you do it?" a little girl named Nengzi couldn't help but ask, her eyes filled with curiosity and envy.
"It's nothing, really. Just putting in some effort," Gon replied with a smile, instantly becoming the center of attention.
"A swamp fish spirit that even five adults working together couldn't catch?" exclaimed a burly middle-aged man, who was one of the hunters in the village.
"I thought for sure that within the next decade, there wouldn't be anyone who could figure out how to reel it in!" added another middle-aged man, who was holding a worn-out longbow.
Just as everyone was watching and discussing the giant swamp fish spirit, a voice suddenly broke the silence.
"I'm also very powerful!" A young voice came, and everyone's gaze turned in that direction.
I saw a little girl, she is Gon's twin sister, named Chi. She was holding a golden bird egg in her hand, with flame-like patterns on it.
Everyone was shocked in an instant.
"Too strong, isn't this the most difficult egg to obtain on the peak, the TuoSa Tower Fliying Beast?" exclaimed the first middle-aged man.
"No one has ever come back alive, let alone obtaining their bird eggs," the second middle-aged man also showed a surprised expression.
Chi smiled and carefully placed the golden bird egg into a small basket woven from leaves and grass.
"You two are really amazing. One of you caught the Swamp Fish Spirit, and the other obtained the egg of the TuoSa Tower Fliying Beast. You are the pride of our village!" said an elderly woman excitedly. She was one of the elders in the village.
"Actually, it's all because of our perseverance," said Gon, glancing at his sister Chi.
"So, what are your plans for the future?" asked a young man, who was a carpenter in the village and a good friend of Gon and Chi.
"We want to go on an adventure to explore further places and see what the outside world is like," Chi replied, her eyes filled with a longing for the unknown and curiosity.
In the central square of the village, sunlight filtered through the leaves, illuminating the excited faces of Gon and Chi. Gon held a smooth fish spirit in his hand and walked up to Aunty Mito with a bright smile, saying, "Alright, Aunty Mito, as per our agreement, I successfully caught this fish spirit!"
Chi also refused to be outdone, raising something resembling a bird egg but far larger than a typical chicken egg: "Yes, Aunty Mito, I have also achieved my goal, obtaining this egg from the most powerful avian beast on Whale Island."
Gon then produced two sheets of paper, brightly labeled "Hunter's test application form": "Now, Aunty Mito, it's your turn to keep your promise."
A man standing nearby, holding his chin with a slightly furrowed brow, said, "Hmm, Mito, just let them go. They're just going to take a test."

Facing these determined twelve-year-old children, Aunty Mito could only sigh helplessly. She took the registration form handed to her by Gon and Chi, and signed her name in the guardian section, saying, "Well, go ahead then."
"Thank you, Aunty Mito," said Gon and Chi with satisfied smiles on their faces.
"Come on, big brother, let's hurry and mail these registration forms. It wouldn't be good if Aunty Mito changed her mind," Chi said nervously. The two quickly turned and briskly walked out of the square, heading towards the direction of the village post office.
In Aunty Mito's home, the sunlight shines through the windows into the warm living room.
Aunty Mito sat alone on an old wooden chair, holding a yellowed photograph in her hands, murmuring, "Like father like son, how could this be?" A hint of doubt and worry appeared in her eyes.
Suddenly, she stood up, her gaze becoming resolute: "I never told Gon and Chi that their father is actually a hunter!"
Sitting next to her, the grandmother looked kindly at her and said, "Perhaps they went to ask someone else, or maybe they don't know anything at all. Either way, I always feel that such a day will come sooner or later."
After speaking, the grandmother picked up the teacup next to her and took a sip.
After setting down the teacup, Grandma continued, "We don't have the power to stop them. The look in those two children's eyes is exactly the same as their father's."
At this moment, outside Aunty Mito's house, Gon and Chi are hiding in a corner. Gon overhears the conversation inside and thinks to himself, "I'm sorry, Aunty Mito, but I've known what my father does for a living for a long time." "Brother, why do we have to come back?" Chi asks, puzzled.
Gon gestured to her to lower her voice: "We came back to see Aunty Mito's reaction. Now we can go." There was a hint of complex emotion in Gon's voice, indicating that he had a lot of unspoken words in his heart. However, now was not the time for explanations.
The two of them quickly walked away from that corner, heading towards the direction of the village's post office, tightly holding the two registration forms that were about to change their destiny.
