I was taken aback. "Break up?"

I was speechless.

Just as we stepped out of the academy, I saw Xiao Wanyi surrounded by several girls confronting Su Muqing.
Xiao Wanyi sneered, "Su Muqing, I want to verify your identity!"

Su Muqing's face turned pale as she bit her lip and remained silent.
I shouted loudly and pulled out a long umbrella from my bookcase to block their path.
“Xiao Wanyi, what do you want to do?”
Seeing me grab the weapon, Xiao Wanyi turned pale with fear and ran away. Her friends followed suit.
I walked over to Su Muqing. “Are you okay?”
Su Muqing shook her head. “I’m fine.”
“Let’s go.”
I nodded. “Alright.”
Su Muqing and I headed home together. We didn’t speak a word along the way.
It wasn’t until we reached a fork in the road that Su Muqing suddenly spoke up.
“Lin Changzhe.”
I was taken aback and looked at Su Muqing.
She chuckled lightly. “Haven’t you always wanted to know if I’m a girl?”
I nodded. “Yeah.”
Su Muqing smiled again. “Let me be honest with you.”
“I’m not a girl; I’m a boy.”
Although I had suspected it for a while, hearing Su Muqing admit it outright still shocked me.
I stared at Su Muqing in disbelief. “You, why…”
Su Muqing smiled again. “Why am I dressed as a girl, right?”
