Liu Yuan seemed to still be immersed in the sorrow of losing the Attendant and spoke mournfully, "Boss Ye, the dead deserve respect. Wu Si's remains have not yet cooled, and you insist on accusing him of betrayal and colluding with outsiders to slander his master?"

If retribution did not arrive in time, there were always others willing to take action. Ye Xiaohan had encountered many situations over the years and met countless people; Liu Yuan was the first she felt such intense disdain for.
With Wu Si dead, his testimony could not serve as evidence since no one could prove its authenticity—the witness was gone, and his words could hardly be considered credible.
As a result, the claims in Wu Si's testimony regarding having seen Liu Yuan and Yang Hua interacting and that Liu Yuan had handed poison to Yang Hua could not stand.
Liu Yuan firmly insisted that he had no connection with the Liu couple, leaving Ye Xiaohan at a loss.
"Bang!" Liu Yun struck the gavel and announced the final verdict.
"The criminals Yang Hua and Liu Wen, as a couple scheming for the Liu family's inheritance, poisoned goods at Peach Blossom Studio to frame Ye Xiaohan. Both have confessed and are to be taken into custody for further questioning!"
"It has been established that Ye Xiaohan was framed and had no knowledge of the poisoning incident. Previously, she was wronged by malicious individuals. Now that the case has been retried, she is hereby declared not guilty and released immediately!"
"Liu Yuan has been identified as participating in the poisoning scheme; however, due to lack of evidence, this accusation does not hold. Liu Yuan is therefore acquitted and released!"
Once Liu Yun finished announcing the verdict, he turned to Deputy General Tian for confirmation: "Deputy General Tian, do you think this outcome is appropriate?"
Deputy General Tian replied, "Lord Liu's judgment is indeed astute; it is very fitting. When I return to report to my superiors, I believe they will also appreciate Lord Liu's efforts. When you receive your promotion, don’t forget your old friends."
"How could I dare? How could I dare!" Hearing Deputy General Tian's words made Liu Yun feel relieved yet excited about potential advancement. He quickly invited Deputy General Tian back for a proper reception to ensure he would speak favorably on his behalf.
Having cleared her name and been released, Ye Xiaohan was escorted by the Yard Officers to the entrance of the Yamen, where a crowd had gathered. Liu Yang, Li Yi, and two children were anxiously waiting.
Upon seeing her emerge, Liu Yang cheered and rushed forward joyfully exclaiming, "Sister-in-law! You finally came out; we were so worried!"
Liu Qi mimicked Liu Yang's actions with delight, opening her arms wide as she rushed towards Ye Xiaohan and hugged one of her legs while looking up and calling out, "Sister-in-law! Qi missed you so much!"
Round glanced at Liu Qi, then at Ye Xiaohan, hesitatingly mimicking their expressions as he slowly approached her, looking up with big blinking eyes and saying nothing.
Ye Xiaohan gently patted Liu Qi's head and then touched Round's braid. The soft touch of the children comforted her heart, which had been deeply wounded.
"Finally made it," Li Yi said with a smile as he walked over, looking at the children before turning to Ye Xiaohan. "Boss Ye, you’ve had a tough time. You suffered an undeserved disaster, but thankfully the storm has passed, and everything is alright now."
Ye Xiaohan watched Liu Yuan leisurely emerge from the Yamen and thought to herself that this storm wouldn’t cease anytime soon; the culprit behind the chaos still stood before her.
"Boss Ye," Liu Yuan said, unexpectedly pulling out his fan and standing before her with a smile. "What a pity today was; we were so close to a resolution between us. Wu Si really chose the wrong time to die."
A look of disdain spread across Ye Xiaohan's face. "Or perhaps he died just in time."
Ye Xiaohan replied coldly, "Liu Yuan, you can act without hesitation against someone who has been by your side for so many years. Aren't you afraid of being left alone, betrayed by everyone around you?"
"Boss Ye, what are you talking about?" Liu Yuan feigned surprise. "Wu Si was killed by someone unknown. I was also very saddened by his death. Alas, Boss Ye, with all your friends and family around you, you probably can't understand Liu's sorrow."
His tone shifted suddenly to a sinister one as his gaze roamed over the six family members. "It seems only those who have experienced similar pain like Boss Ye and Liu can truly understand how I feel right now."
"Liu Yuan!" Ye Xiaohan had been reminding herself to endure and not let him provoke her successfully. But rationality could only hold for so long; once she saw Liu Yuan's snake-like gaze fall upon the six family members, she could no longer contain herself.
Ye Xiaohan warned him, "If you dare to harm anyone around me, you better think about how you plan to die first!"
Liu Yuan withdrew his gaze and chuckled. "Liu was just joking; why make such a fuss, Boss Ye? Calm down; it's not good to be this angry right now. We will have plenty of dealings in the future!"
"What do you mean?" Ye Xiaohan stopped Liu Yang from rushing at Liu Yuan and instructed Li Yi to take them away first. Liu Yuan was too dangerous; she didn’t want the six family members involved with him.
She cautiously stated, "Liu Yuan, don’t think that just because you have some power, everyone is afraid of you. At least I, Ye Xiaohan, will never yield!"
Upon hearing this, Liu Yuan suddenly revealed a sinister expression and sneered coldly. "Of course you're not afraid; you have the Flying Dragon General backing you! Ye Xiaohan, I must say I underestimated you. Who would have thought your skills were quite impressive? You play the pig to eat the tiger so well!"
His ability to twist facts was truly remarkable; he had clearly set others up yet dared to accuse them first.
Ye Xiaohan couldn’t help but smirk back. "I’m merely an apprentice level; if it comes to acting, Liu Gongzi wouldn’t dare claim second place if I’m first! With your acting skills, it would be a shame not to perform on stage!"
Hearing Ye Xiaohan compare him to a lowly actor made Liu Yuan’s anger boil over; his face turned so dark that anyone familiar would surely avoid recognition.
"You were just lucky this time; don’t think that having someone protect you means you can do as you please!" Liu Yuan lowered his voice angrily. "This time I miscalculated and fell into your trap with that adulterous couple; I will settle this score sooner or later!"
Ye Xiaohan spat at him, "I return your words to you unchanged! Don't think that just because you have a father backing you, you're untouchable. Let me tell you, the net of heaven is vast and wide, and it misses nothing. Sooner or later, you'll get what's coming to you!"
Liu Yuan laughed in anger, though his smile was somewhat twisted. "Ye Xiaohan, don't think you've won this round. You're just taking advantage of the situation. Without your support, you'd be nothing!"
"Ha!" Ye Xiaohan shot back, refusing to back down. "It's rare that we actually agree on something! Liu Yuan, you tried to frame me, and now you're caught in your own trap. Sorry, but I can't take credit for this victory. However, you don't need to worry; I'll make sure to collect every bit of interest I'm owed!"
When the time comes, I'll make sure you cry and regret not being a better person!
The two exchanged sharp words, neither willing to yield. As their anger escalated into a heated argument, Liu Yuan gradually sensed something was off.
Ye Xiaohan seemed completely unaware of the true circumstances behind this matter.
To satisfy his curiosity, Liu Yuan tentatively asked, "Ye Xiaohan, do you really believe you haven't wronged me? Do you think I wouldn't be secretly laughing at your predicament?"
