You Were Born a Nobleman, Chapter 40: One Worse than the Other
Zhang Dahu shook his little mustache and shouted, "Demoness, hand over my son!"
"Your son? He's not my grandson, so what do you want from me?" Tang Zisu, who couldn't stand the arrogance of the wealthy, immediately switched to her sharp-tongued queen mode.
"You, you, you..." Zhang Dahu's face turned as red as a liver from being taken advantage of by a young girl.
Kong Xuan didn't expect that the usually absent-minded foodie would have such a side. He draped his cloak over Tang Zisu and smiled, saying, "Really now, why take advantage of an old man? Even if he is a grandson, he's still Ahei's grandson."
Great, one worse than the other.
Kong Xuan's words displeased Lang Ye. Damn it, if my grandson looked like that, I would strangle him in my daughter-in-law's womb.
Wolf King, you are indeed mighty and imposing; however, I am really curious how your hand would reach into your daughter-in-law's womb.
A loud wail suddenly shattered the night's tranquility like thunder, sending chills down one's spine: "Oh heavens, my poor son, how tragically you have died!"
Zhang Dahu's Fat Wife burst in with her hair disheveled. As soon as she entered, she sat on the ground, pounding her chest and crying uncontrollably. She frowned and asked, "Your son is dead? No way! They say calamities live for ten thousand years."
Upon hearing this, Fat Lady darted over like a swallow and shouted, "You vixens return my son's life!" The previously lazy Lang Ye dashed over like lightning, baring his teeth to protect Kong Xuan. His wolf eyes were fierce and his sharp teeth glinted ominously.
Aunt Zhang's legs went weak, and her plump body fell backward, her large backside pressing against her husband's face.
She pointed in terror at Lang Ye, "Wolf, it's a wolf."
Lang Ye snorted, of course, I am a wolf. But the fact that you still have the energy to worry about this shows you have some quality inside, because you are about to become wealthy.
Several servants finally managed to rescue the master from under his wife's ample rear, and Zhang Dahu's nose was bleeding profusely.
The Fat Lady cried even louder, pounding the ground as Tang Zisu felt like her head was about to explode, desperately grabbing Kong Xuan's sleeve for help.
Kong Xuan held her hand, shook it slightly, and whispered, "Let me handle this."
Standing in the center of the Shrine, the flickering candlelight cast shifting shadows across his face, and there seemed to be a hint of murderous intent in his eyes. He said sternly, "Enough noise. What exactly is going on?"
The Fat Lady hiccupped and dragged out a long sound before stopping her cries. With her round face twisted into a grimace, she said, "Ever since my son saw you, he's been bewitched. He heard you wanted some Tianshan Snow Lotus and insisted on selling our land to pay for the trip to Tianshan. After spending a fortune to buy one, you said it wasn't the right one and took him to Peacock Mountain to look for another. He hasn't returned yet; he might have been eaten by lions or tigers by now. You've caused our family to lose our lineage; you vixen!"
Zhang Dahu got up with blood smeared across his face and shouted, "Vixen! Give me back my son!"
"Old man, what are you staring at? Do you want to bring her home to bear you a son?" After saying that, a paw struck Zhang Dahu's face again, knocking him back down.
Aunt Zhang's words made Kong Xuan's expression change. Tang Zisu quickly interjected loudly, "Stop talking nonsense! Your son is in the mountains; instead of looking for him there, you're here making a scene. Do you really not care about his life or death?"
"Shut up! You are all little Sirens! This woman fell from the sky with an unknown origin; she is clearly a demon. Today we will exorcise this demon and avenge my son!"
Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers! May you always be young and beautiful! Here's an update!
