Seeing her father move swiftly, Xia Muxin was soon left behind by quite a distance. She twitched her mouth and looked curiously at the Golden Python before slowly making her way home.
The Golden Python followed suit, swaying its tail behind Xia Muxin. This scene nearly caused You Clan Mother and Daughter to faint; trembling on their legs, You Shi pinched herself hard and quickly said to Zhou Guilian:
“Gui Lian, hurry and take a detour to your elder sister’s house! Have your brother-in-law invite a Taoist priest; this girl must be possessed!”
Hearing what You said, Zhou Guilian swallowed hard, forgetting the pain on her forehead. Before You could finish speaking, she dashed down another path as if possessed.
As soon as Zhou Guilian left, You instantly regretted it. Why didn't she go with Gui Lian? That Xia Muxin must have been possessed; ever since returning from the mountain, something had been off. She had grown bolder, speaking confidently and even climbing onto her head to cause trouble. Previously, she had been pondering what was going on.
Now she finally understood.
"This is serious! That Xia Muxin is possessed; she even captured the Serpent God! Everyone, hurry and take a look! This is going to bring divine retribution!"
