In Chang'an, Chen Zao had been meeting with Zhuo Chugang to discuss their entrepreneurial plans, and he had even been staying at the apartment rented by Zhuo Chugang for two days.
After mentioning Tang, before he could even settle into the car seat, his new car was taken by Zhuo Chugang to chase after girls.

I can get you VIP tickets so you can see the stars up close and even take photos with them. How about that benefit?"
"Not interested." Chen Zao wasn't like Zhuo Chugang, who jumped at the chance to take pictures with female celebrities.
"Damn, I'm starting to doubt your orientation. You never date girls and show no interest in beautiful women; you're always hanging out with that fat guy. You’re not gay, are you? If you are, let me know in advance so I can keep my distance."
"Stop joking around; I'm way straighter than you." Chen Zao replied calmly. "Let's get down to business. Tonight, don't chase after girls; free up some time for me. I want to introduce a friend to you and Triumph."
"What kind of friend?"
"A friend who can help us with our startup. This friend has connections; she's the daughter of a big shot in the Chang'an Underworld. You better not have any improper thoughts about her; otherwise, if something happens, don’t blame me for not giving you a heads-up."
"The daughter of an underworld boss? That sounds interesting."
Zhuo Chugang's playful tone made Chen Zao feel uneasy.
Chen Zao sternly warned, "I'm serious with you. Don't act all nervous in front of her. Keep it together and don't embarrass me. You can't mess with this girl; I'm not kidding, she really is the daughter of a big shot from the Chang'an Underworld."
"How do you even know someone like that?"
"Don't worry about how I know her. Anyway, this girl will help us start our business. I'm going to be away for a few days, so you should communicate more with her and figure out how to get this operation up and running quickly. Also, quit that lousy job at Film City; stop wasting your time there. With that energy, focus on the restaurant business and get those Health Supplements sorted out. Don't just lounge around."
"I know, I'll quit after I finish this event. Are you really not attending the creative meeting for Western Chu Overlord tomorrow night? If you're not coming, I'll give my ticket to someone else."
Just as Chen Zao was about to refuse outright, he suddenly remembered that Rong Liya's previous film, Western Chu Overlord, also had Min Jianlong as the martial arts director, with participation from the Min Family Clan.
The breath he had been holding was released as he asked Zhuo Chugang, "Is Min Jianlong's Min Family Clan involved in the filming of Western Chu Overlord?"

Since Zhuo Chugang was so reluctant to part with his spying job at Film City, Chen Zao decided to completely ruin this guy's meal ticket and make him participate earnestly in the entrepreneurial plan, so he wouldn't waste the tail end of his youth any longer.
After reminding Zhuo Chugang not to be late for dinner that evening, Chen Zao hung up the phone.
He originally planned to have dinner tonight, rest for a night, and then head to the apocalypse tomorrow.
Before going to the apocalypse this time, Chen Zao wanted to conduct an experiment to see if the apocalypse he was heading to was related to the time and space described by Golden Figure.
He prepared to carve an indelible mark on the wall of Warehouse No. 8, where he often traveled through. When the apocalypse arrived, he would check to see if this mark still existed after a year.
If it did exist, it would indicate that the apocalypse he traveled to had a significant connection with his current time and space, similar to Sea Qilin. This would somewhat corroborate Golden Figure's claims.
However, if he carved a huge mark now and it didn't appear in the apocalypse he traveled to after a year, it would mean that there was a high probability that the apocalypse he entered was another parallel universe, where Chen Zao might not even exist, let alone be Hellfire Torchbearer.
Although this experiment couldn't be 100% accurate, it would at least give him some clarity instead of being completely in the dark about his situation.
Now that he heard Min Family Clan was coming, Chen Zao would have to postpone his trip to the apocalypse for a while.
He needed to teach these unreasonable bastards a lesson and reclaim what had been lost when the shop was smashed and Fat Jin was beaten!
