On the way to the county hospital, Rong Liya rinsed her mouth with a strong double mint-flavored mouthwash the entire time.
However, when she got out of the car, she could still smell a strong fishy odor in her mouth, which made her feel nauseous.
She truly regretted drinking Chen Zao's foul liquor. Although the drink had made her body feel very comfortable and relaxed, the taste was simply unbearable! It was so bad it made her want to die!
Damn it, what kind of person brews such terrible liquor! Only a lunatic like Chen Zao could produce something so foul!

This left Rong Liya feeling like crying without tears; she was too embarrassed to talk to Song Jing and could only cover her mouth with a mask, trapping all the foul odor inside.

Rong Zhe, who was about to be discharged but still resting, was awakened by Rong Liya's call and immediately noticed the unbearable stench that even her perfume couldn't cover.
His first question was: "Did you soil yourself? Why do you smell so bad?"
Rong Liya nearly fell to her knees from his question and replied in distress, "Don't joke with me; something serious has happened!"
She then recounted everything that had happened that night to Rong Zhe.
Rong Zhe listened while feeling increasingly angry, his body trembling with rage. The area around his sternum, which had never healed properly, throbbed with a dull pain.
Once Rong Liya finished speaking, Rong Zhe immediately scolded her, "I told you not to provoke that bastard Qin Sheng! You wouldn’t listen! Look what’s happened now!"
Rong Liya, feeling wronged and helpless, replied, "I didn’t provoke him; he has been coming after me. I only see him as an ordinary friend."
"Ordinary friend? Ha! Do ordinary friends give you a million-dollar necklace? Do ordinary friends invest millions in your movies? I’ve told you before, Qin Sheng’s intentions are not pure. You’re still foolishly thinking he’s just a fan of yours! Mom thought you were a silly child when you couldn’t talk or move for three years after being born. Now it turns out you really are a fool! You let that idiot dressed as a mushroom get close to you without even trying to avoid him. You’re just a big idiot!"
Rong Zhe grew angrier, unleashing a torrent of vulgarities.
The reason for his fury was clear: tonight's incident would ruin all of Rong Liya's career and financial prospects!
Qin Sheng was not someone an ordinary person could provoke.
Tonight, not only had Qin Sheng been provoked, but he had also been beaten badly! He would undoubtedly seek revenge, and the kind of anger he felt was something they could not bear.

Rong Liya spoke the truth in her anger.
Rong Zhe's face turned pale at her words, but he couldn’t continue to criticize her.
He could only shift the blame onto Chen Zao, pounding on the hospital bed in frustration. "Damn it, that lunatic selling Roujiamo is your nemesis! You've only met him a few times and look at all the trouble he's caused!"
Rong Liya was even angrier. "I don't know about the Nemesis, but if it weren't for him, your sister would have been raped tonight! Did you even listen to what I just told you? It was that guy selling Roujiamo who saved me!"
Rong Zhe knew that Chen Zao was the one who saved Rong Liya, but he thought it would have been better if Chen Zao hadn't intervened. If Rong Liya had gone along with Qin Sheng, the outcome would have been much better than it is now.
Such a beastly thought was something Rong Zhe certainly wouldn't dare to share with Rong Liya.
But he genuinely felt that way.
Now, he could only vent all his frustrations on Chen Zao.
Rong Zhe pondered for a moment. If he could find some brothers to deal with Chen Zao, ideally beat him up badly, and then take Chen Zao to apologize to Qin Sheng, perhaps there would still be a chance to smooth things over.
Unless absolutely necessary, they definitely couldn't confront Qin Sheng head-on or engage in any kind of mutual destruction.
If that happened, not only would Qin Sheng not be punished, but Rong Liya's entire future would also be destroyed, and her life could even be ruined. This was something Rong Zhe couldn't accept.
For now, they had to swallow their anger and pretend that Qin Sheng hadn't done anything so beastly. They needed to hold onto Chen Zao and try to appease Qin Sheng.

"Don't call the police yet; if you do, your future will be over!" Rong Zhe sternly warned Rong Liya against calling the police.
Rong Liya didn't want to call the police either, but without doing so, how could they deal with that terrifying bastard Qin Sheng?
"Right now, you should let Song drive you to Chang'an and leave overnight. Don't stay in this remote place any longer; the security here is terrible. If Qin Sheng is looking for trouble, he will definitely come here. Go to Chang'an and hide for a while to avoid the storm. I'll talk to the crew and help you take a leave of absence."
Rong Liya nodded gloomily; with the situation so tense, she indeed needed to get away for a bit.
"I'll be discharged from the hospital tomorrow and see if I can find someone to settle this matter. If it can't be resolved, we'll think of other ways."
"You can settle Qin Sheng?" Rong Liya was a bit surprised.
"How could I possibly settle him! I'm looking for someone to handle 'this matter'!"
