The Crown Prince of the Dream Kingdom is dead.
On the first day of the competition's restart, what could be more shocking than this news?
Si Tu Rui Qi denied that he had accidentally killed Feng Chengxuan. Everyone present had witnessed the scene; that strike had indeed hit Feng Chengxuan, but it was not enough to take his life.
So, in such a powerful sealed space, who exactly dealt the fatal blow?
After the crowd cheered and shouted, they gradually calmed down, realizing that this was not a time for applause. A member of the royal family had died, and it seemed this matter was far from trivial.
Feng Chengzhi, sitting on the high platform, immediately demanded that the competition be halted. He rushed into the arena and picked up his brother's lifeless body, crying out in despair before being escorted away by others.
Also leaving was Bai Zhan, who had been lurking among the crowd outside.
Unfortunately, no one would stop Feng Chengzhi from leaving, but Bai Zhan was different.
Just as he turned to blend back into the crowd, a tall figure blocked his path. Looking up, he saw that it was none other than his archrival, Ouyang Hao.
"Get out of my way!" Bai Zhan gritted his teeth.
Ouyang Hao bore injuries and looked unwell, but to Bai Zhan, it felt like a long-awaited confrontation; naturally, he wanted to shake off Ouyang Hao as quickly as possible.
"You can't leave." Ouyang Hao had already noticed Bai Zhan's sneaky behavior earlier. In fact, he had been keeping an eye on Bai Zhan since he appeared at the competition venue.
With a guilty conscience, Bai Zhan was unwilling to engage and attempted to bypass Ouyang Hao. However, Ouyang Hao was determined not to let him go and reached out to grab his shoulder.
Before the crowd could disperse, chaos erupted once again as they began to clash.
Fortunately, most of the spectators watching the competition were nobles, and when chaos erupted, they were quickly escorted away by the guards. This is the advantage of not having commoners present; it makes controlling the situation easier.
Bai Zhan had been drinking continuously in recent days, and his stamina was no longer what it used to be. If it weren't for the fact that he happened to encounter Ouyang Hao, who was injured at night, he probably wouldn't have lasted even fifty moves.
"Hmph, overestimating yourself!" Ouyang Hao subdued Bai Zhan with a cold snort. He waved his hand and handed him over to Zi Yi, who had emerged from the shadows, saying, "Take him with me to the palace."
If it weren't for Feng Chengxuan's death at the Duel Arena, Bai Zhan would likely have been taken directly back to Ouyang Hao's residence. However, now Bai Zhan's suspicious behavior could very well be related to Feng Chengxuan's death, and he needed to be taken to see Nan Gong Yao.
At the very least, there needed to be a plausible explanation for Feng Chengzhi and Dream Nation.

"Is it you?" Ouyang Zixin looked at Yun Tianmo in disbelief.
She had thought they were just there to watch the competition, but before they even reached their seats, Yun Tianmo had struck directly and killed Feng Chengxuan.
Yun Tianmo coldly nodded, a fleeting glint of ruthlessness in his eyes.
Ouyang Zixin shook her head; she didn't understand why this was happening.
Although Feng Chengxuan had inappropriate intentions toward her sister and was quite repulsive, it didn't seem like he deserved to die.
Could it be?
Ouyang Zixin looked up in shock at Yun Tianmo, her eyes filled with questions.
"Figured it out?" Yun Tianmo glanced at her sideways without revealing much. There were quite a few people paying attention to them at that moment; he wasn't afraid of being exposed. He simply didn't want trouble coming his way before taking further action, as it would waste his time.
"Are you sure?" Ouyang Zixin was uncertain in her heart. After all, there were too many people appearing in her memories, and the scenes changed frequently. She really had no confidence about whether Feng Chengxuan was among them.
However, even so, the people from a thousand years ago were not the same as those today. How could one simply say that killing was just killing?
Just as she was about to ask further, she noticed Nan Gong Yao's companion, Li Feng, walking towards them.
"Prince Mo, Consort Mo, the Sovereign has feelings," Li Feng said with a smile, seemingly unfazed by Feng Chengxuan's death in the Capital of the Departed Nation.
Also invited to the palace were the Grandmaster of Dream Nation, the Eldest Princess of Dream Nation, Feng Tianjiao, and Situ Rui Qi along with his father, who participated in the competition.
Inside the palace.
Nan Gong Yao was dressed in a formal red outfit but leaned lazily against the upper seat, squinting as if he had just woken up.
"Woo... Brother... how could this happen..." Feng Tianjiao collapsed over Feng Chengxuan's body, crying inconsolably.
On the other hand, Feng Chengzhi seemed to have recovered from the shock but sat expressionlessly beside them.
In the entire hall, only Feng Tianjiao's cries echoed.
"Enough! The dead cannot be brought back to life; grieve and move on," Nan Gong Yao frowned and turned to the Grandmaster of Dream Nation. "What do you think?"
The Grandmaster had already examined Feng Chengxuan's body and did not rise from his seat. He slowly spoke, "Indeed, it has nothing to do with Young Master Situ. The Crown Prince was ambushed and killed instantly."
Both Situ Rong Bao and Situ Rui Qi breathed a sigh of relief; as long as the death wasn't at the hands of the Sidu Family, other matters were irrelevant to them.
But before they could fully relax, the Grandmaster's next words made them break out in a cold sweat.
"This person acted very skillfully. Although it was a single fatal blow, if it weren't for Young Master Situ's timely intervention, he probably wouldn't have died immediately," the National Master said, glancing at Bai Zhan, who was pinned down by Ouyang Hao, and frowned. "Master Xuan, are you sure this person is suspicious?"
One had to admit that Bai Zhan at this moment resembled a stray dog; it was hard to imagine he had such clever means to kill Feng Chengxuan with just one strike from a distance.
Moreover, they also had their spatial seal blocking the outside.
Ouyang Hao clasped his fists but did not respond to the National Master. Instead, he reported to Nan Gong Yao, "Sovereign, this person was lurking among the crowd, acting suspiciously. I noticed him early on. After Feng Chengxuan died, he tried to slip away immediately but was captured by my subordinate. I ask for your judgment, Sovereign."
Nan Gong Yao had already given him two eye rolls in just those two sentences. If it weren't for the crowd, he would have jumped up and pointed at Ouyang Hao's nose, asking—was this personal revenge? Was it? A mere Dream Country Prince has died; what's the big deal? Just deal with your own enemy privately instead of causing such a commotion!
However, all of this could only be thought about; after all, there were too many outsiders present.
Nan Gong Yao cleared his throat lightly and then cast a casual glance at Bai Zhan. "Do you have anything to say?"
"I am wronged!" Bai Zhan protested indignantly. How did it come to be that he was accused of being the one who struck? He was actually collaborating with Feng Chengxuan to eliminate Si Tu Rui Qi! Who would have thought that before he could even use his poison, Feng Chengxuan would be taken out first?
Now, he truly felt that even jumping into the Yellow River wouldn't clear his name.
"Wronged? How can you prove your innocence?" Ouyang Hao sneered. Bai Zhan definitely had something dirty about him; even if Feng Chengxuan's death had nothing to do with him, his presence at the scene certainly wasn't good news.
