The Ouyang family of three looked at Madam Bai, who surprisingly was not asleep and had arrived so quickly. Even Bai Su felt that something was off.
"You don't need to be like this. At this point, I have nothing to hide," Madam Bai said as she sat down in the room, followed closely by Liu Ying and Liu Lu.
These two had just been sent back by Ouyang Zixin a couple of days ago, with the purpose of investigating the Matriarch. However, even she did not expect that she would have to negotiate directly with the Matriarch so soon.
"Matriarch, my husband is currently in a coma. Please speak your mind," Ouyang Zixin wiped away her tears and walked towards the Matriarch with unwavering determination in her eyes.
Ouyang Xuan's Mansion suddenly lit up, and many servants rushed out worriedly to see if something had happened. With a glance from Ouyang Zixin, Liu Lvy went out to send everyone away and sealed off the backyard.
"The Bright White Stone was indeed in Bai Zhan's possession, but later, the Five Elders used a scheme to exchange it," Madam Bai revealed everything, not even hiding where the Five Elders were located. Ouyang Hao and Bai Su spoke in unison, their gazes towards Ouyang Zixin filled with disapproval. "History is nothing but hatred," Ouyang Zixin closed his eyes. After a moment of silence, he suddenly opened them wide, a sharp light shooting from his gaze directly at the Grand Elder holding the Bright White Stone. "I originally intended to resolve this peacefully, but if you remain stubborn, then do not blame me for being rude!"
With these words, he made it clear that he would not back down until he obtained the Bright White Stone.
The Five Elders immediately took up defensive stances, while Ouyang Hao stepped forward to stand in front of his daughter, his aura fully unleashed.
"Ah, forget it. Who are you putting on a show for?" Madam Bai slowly rose. Her already aged face seemed to deepen with more wrinkles. "I never believed in all of this, but it seems... ha ha, truly poetic justice..."
"Matriarch!" The Grand Elder exclaimed in shock.
"I don't care anymore! All these years of scheming have turned out to be a joke! Hahaha, a joke indeed..." Madam Bai disregarded the tense atmosphere in the room and walked out alone, disappearing into the night.
"Hand over the Bright White Stone, and I will let you go; otherwise!" Ouyang Zixin did not mind killing a few people for Yun Tianmo. After all, he had once slaughtered an entire city for her.
