“Treasure of the Bai Clan!” The figure slowly uttered four words.
Bai Zhan trembled at the words. Treasure of the Bai Clan? Could it be here for the Bright White Stone? But only those within the Bai Clan knew of its existence. How did this being know about it?
“I, I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Facing an unknown entity, Bai Zhan couldn’t help but swallow nervously, feeling tense; even his denial sounded insincere.
The figure scoffed coldly and shouted, “Are you trying to fool me? Don’t know? What do you think you are, the White Clan Leader? Heh, or are you saying that this White Clan Leader is completely clueless?”
Those words struck a nerve with Bai Zhan, and he immediately exploded with anger. He stepped forward, no longer caring about his fear, and said fiercely, “How dare you! Don’t think I don’t know what you are; you can’t just spout nonsense! Do you believe I…”
“Believe what? Can you even kill me?” The figure laughed mockingly and then said, “Why don’t you feel it? Do you still have any Mysterious Energy left in your body?”
Upon hearing this, Bai Zhan quickly circulated his energy throughout his body, but just as he began to sense it, it abruptly cut off. He was shocked; he couldn’t gather his Mysterious Energy at all.
“Look at you.” The figure floated over to a chair on the left and sat down. “Hand over the Bright White Stone, and I won’t make things difficult for you!”
Today was not about killing; as long as he got what he wanted, he didn’t mind letting Bai Zhan go for now.
Bai Zhan wasn’t mistaken; it was indeed here to demand the Bright White Stone. However, that Bright White Stone was not in his possession. How could he hand it over?
“N-no, it’s not with me.” Bai Zhan pretended to be disheartened and lamented, “It’s all my fault for being soft-hearted and giving it to… giving it to my mother. She probably has already given the Bright White Stone to my useless sister.”

“Oh?” The figure seemed to ponder the truth of his words. Despite appearing formidable, it seemed to lack a bit in emotional intelligence.
Suddenly, Bai Zhan felt a flash before his eyes, and the white figure vanished without a trace.
He rushed out the door to look but found nothing—only the ink-black night and the sound of his own heavy breathing mixed with cold sweat.
“Remember, I am Nameless. If you deceive me, hmph!”
Bai Zhan stumbled back three steps as an elusive wave of Mysterious Energy struck his chest, causing him to spit out a mouthful of blood.
“What strange movement and Mysterious Energy.”
And who is Nameless? I've never heard of such a person.

“Did you get it?” Ouyang Zixin asked urgently without turning around.
Nameless lowered his head in shame. “It was an unsuccessful attempt; the item doesn't seem to be in his possession.”
Then, Nameless repeated what he had heard from Bai Zhan.
"Did you give it to my mother?" Ouyang Zixin frowned upon hearing this. She truly didn't know about it. If it was given to her mother, then for Yun Tianmo's sake, her mother would surely not be stingy.
Forget it, no matter what, she had to give it a try.
"Yun Tianmo has fallen into a coma. I don't know why. I'm going to find my mother now; please take good care of him." Ouyang Zixin lifted her skirt and stood up to leave, completely oblivious to the fact that it was already late at night. All she felt was urgency.

She didn't know what these words meant, but since they resonated in her mind, they must be related to Yun Tianmo's coma.
In just a little while, Ouyang Zixin arrived at Ouyang Xuan's Mansion and knocked on the door loudly.
The doorman was initially furious, but when he opened the door and saw it was the young lady of the house, his anger vanished instantly. In the blink of an eye, he disappeared from sight.
"Oh my, am I seeing things? Pfft, how could the young lady be a ghost?" He quickly closed the door.
"Mother... Mother..."
Bai Su and Ouyang Hao were awakened by the noise. They had just thrown on some clothes when Ouyang Zixin rushed in and lunged toward Bai Su.
"What happened? It's the middle of the night..."
"Mother, Yun Tianmo... he fainted. I want the Bright White Stone that's in your hands," Ouyang Zixin said with tears in her eyes.
Bai Su was taken aback upon hearing this. Wasn't the Bright White Stone the Treasure of the Bai Clan? It was always kept by either the clan leader or the Legitimate Daughter. Now that there was no rightful Legitimate Daughter, it should be in Bai Zhan's possession. Why was her daughter coming to ask her for it?
Ouyang Zixin could tell from Bai Su's expression that she had been deceived, gritting her teeth and cursing, "Damn Bai Zhan!"
