Due to the unknown patterns on the Double Stone Gate absorbing Mysterious Energy, and with the quantity being unknown, a crowd of people stood outside the Millennium Ruins. This situation was reported back to the Imperial Capital by Li Feng, leading to the arrival of Nan Gong Yao's carriage just as the fifth guard from Baike attempted to enter.
"What is the situation?" Nan Gong Yao asked directly from his carriage without getting out.
"Sovereign, this Double Stone Gate is quite strange. Such a situation did not occur a few days ago. Now, the guards from Dream Nation and Bai Clan have lost two members, and two others have been disqualified after failing to meet the requirements after three attempts."

"Since everyone is so eager for me to try, then I will give it a shot," Ouyang Zixin said with a smile towards the crowd as if opening the Double Stone Gate was not dangerous at all. "However..."
Halfway through her sentence, Ouyang Zixin's expression suddenly changed; her smile vanished as she said seriously: "But whether I succeed or fail has nothing to do with you all!" Facing away from everyone, the silver-gray light in her eyes went unnoticed by anyone. She felt a slight warmth in her eyes as the Purple-Eyed Beast that had once been refined by the old Three-Eyed Purple-Eyed Mystic Beast gradually emerged at her brow.
Yun Tianying had been chatting casually with Yun Tianmo but fell silent when Ouyang Zixin approached. Turning his head, he noticed his brother was intently focused on Ouyang Zixin.
Yun Tianying chuckled softly and ceased speaking. He had heard tales of Cloud Nation's Nine Commanders ruining marriages; this woman before him might just be one of them. Although there seemed to be nothing particularly special about her at first glance, recalling her earlier words revealed her to be a woman of courage—if she were to match with his brother, she certainly had presence.
Nangong Tuo was equally tense; if not for being called over by Nan Gong Yao earlier, he would never have let Ouyang Zixin attempt this. But now it was too late; all he could do was hope that she would remain safe.
