The man's attacking movements flowed like water without a hint of pause as he replied, "What difference does it make?"

Huan'er screamed in concern for her brother. It wasn't until she saw him being pushed back a few steps by the Howling Twin-headed Serpent that she truly panicked, her eyes wide with fear as she cried out for her brother to come back and stop fighting.

"I only wish to retreat safely," he finally spoke, answering Ouyang Zixin's question.
Hmph, you should have said that earlier.
Ouyang Zixin pushed aside Liu Ying and Liu Lu who stood in front of her, crossing her arms and saying, "If you had said so earlier, we wouldn't be in this situation."
With that, she shot Ning Zhiyuan a glance. He was reluctant and wanted to refuse, but under Ouyang Zixin's glare, he obediently walked over to Baike, grabbing her and coldly remarking, "Legitimate Daughter of the Bai Clan, nothing more."
