"Go get something to eat." Rong Yi was treating Yun Tianmo like a servant, but who told him he was his disciple?
"No way." What a joke, he came all this way, started a fight without saying a word, and now he wants him to prepare food. If Yun Tianmo obediently listened to Rong Yi, that would truly be unbelievable.
"Master Rong..." Just as Rong Yi and Yun Tianmo were glaring at each other, Liu Lvy's voice came from behind them.
"What are you two still doing here?" Liu Ying stood behind Liu Lvy, her head lowered and her shoulders slightly trembling.
Rong Yi had already informed them of Ouyang Zixin's decision, expecting the two maids to leave, but unexpectedly, neither of them had.
"Master Rong, we sisters have watched the young lady grow up since we were small; we won't leave." Liu Lvy didn't expect Liu Ying to speak; her voice had long been choked with tears, so she had to represent them and express their decision.
"Have you thought this through?" Rong Yi appeared calm on the surface but felt happy for Ouyang Zixin inside; she hadn't treated these two maids poorly for nothing.
"We've thought it through." Liu Lvy and Liu Ying nodded firmly. The young lady had treated them so well; they would never leave her side, no matter how harsh the training they would face next. They were not afraid.
Rong Yi nodded, "You're just in time; take these two maids back with you for training."
Yun Tianmo was taken aback. Training two maids?
"Are you sure?" The shadow guards around Yun Tianmo were trained to the strictest standards, and there had never been any females among them. Could these delicate maids handle it?
"What? Are you unwilling?" Rong Yi naturally knew the benefits of having shadow guards. The first batch of shadow guards around Yun Tianmo was under his watch. He was well aware of the hardships involved, and now Liu Ying and Liu Lu being handed over to them was the best option; he simply didn't have the time to train two maids.
Yun Tianmo glanced at the two maids, a cold smile forming in her heart. Since they were so unaware of their own limitations, she would do them a favor. She discreetly signaled, and a shadow emerged. Even though Liu Ying and Liu Lu were mentally prepared, they were still startled.
"Follow me." The shadow's voice was devoid of any emotion. Since Master agreed to let them train with the shadow guards, he would take them back.
Liu Ying and Liu Lu bowed to Rong Yi and Yun Tianmo. Although they did not know who Yun Tianmo was, they assumed that anyone brought by Master Rong must be someone significant. Afterward, they paid their respects to Ouyang Zixin at the pharmacy, bowing three times before leaving with the shadow.
"I didn't expect you to start meddling in others' affairs." Yun Tianmo teased Rong Yi, questioning why he personally arranged for two maids to be taken back for training. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of scheme he had in mind.
"Go get something to eat." Rong Yi was too lazy to deal with Yun Tianmo. He disliked how this brat acted differently in front of people compared to when he was alone.
"I said no." Instead of keeping the two maids to serve him, sending them off for shadow guard training while he had to prepare food himself was unacceptable. Ignoring Rong Yi, Yun Tianmo confidently walked toward the back courtyard.
"You brat." Once inside the residence, Rong Yi didn't want to confront him directly for fear of disturbing Ouyang Zixin. He muttered a curse under his breath and turned toward the pharmacy.
In the pharmacy, Ouyang Zixin was completely unaware of what was happening outside and was sound asleep. When Rong Yi returned and saw that she had not yet woken up, he decided not to rush into preparing any food. To prevent Yun Tianmo from causing further trouble, Rong Yi set up an additional barrier outside the pharmacy—one that even Yun Tianmo would not dare to touch lightly.
This residence was one where Yun Tianmo had lived during his early cultivation days. He walked with ease toward the room he once occupied but felt a strange presence in it as he approached. Frowning slightly, he felt quite displeased that someone else had taken over his room.
He wouldn't stay there anymore, but he wanted to know who had moved in. His master wouldn't easily cross his boundaries unless there was a special reason. Now that someone else occupied the room he once lived in, it must mean that this person held considerable importance in his master's eyes.
"Did he find another apprentice somewhere?" Yun Tianmo stood outside his house, or rather, someone else's house now. There was no one inside; he knew that the moment he stepped through the gate. Therefore, this person should be in the pharmacy now.
Ouyang Zixin usually didn't use any fragrances that young ladies liked apart from Purple Bamboo Incense, so Yun Tianmo didn't realize at first that the person living in his former house was a woman.
Given Yun Tianmo's temperament, if he knew that a woman had taken over his house, even if Rong Yi was his master, he would likely be troubled by his anger.
Having already angered Rong Yi once tonight, Yun Tianmo knew it wasn't the best time to ask questions. Besides, he wasn't in a hurry to leave this time; he could deal with it later.
For once being generous, Yun Tianmo casually found a room next to the small courtyard to stay in. He had never been demanding about food and lodging; he only had one requirement: cleanliness. With only one shadow guard by his side and having brought two maidservants back to the shadow guard's headquarters, Yun Tianmo had to tidy up the room himself.
Although Yun Tianmo held a noble status, he was not someone who shied away from manual labor. He didn't need to rely on others for his daily needs. However, since he usually had shadow guards handling these tasks, he naturally wouldn't do them himself.
After tidying up the room a bit, with all his usual belongings at the shadow guard's place, he could only make do for one night. Yun Tianmo didn't plan to rest on the bed; instead, he sat cross-legged and entered a meditative state using Mysterious Energy.
That night, Ouyang Zixin did not suffer too much. Perhaps due to her unique constitution, the second wave of restructuring had yet to begin. Rong Yi stayed by the Medicine Barrel and dared not leave. In addition to the pain of restructuring, Ouyang Zixin needed his guidance to convert all the Mysterious Energy gathered in her Mind into her own use; otherwise, she might still fall into a dream and be unable to escape.
Rong Yi originally planned to let Ouyang Zixin eat something after the first wave of restructuring and then guide part of the Mysterious Energy during the break. However, who would have thought that Yun Tianmo would show up? Now there was no time left; it seemed they would have to wait until after the second wave and utilize the gap between the second and third waves.
"Sigh, the intervals will get shorter and shorter; I wonder if this girl can handle it." The thought of Ouyang Zixin facing increasingly dangerous situations made Rong Yi wish he could grab Yun Tianmo and give him a good beating.
"Hmph, what an infuriating little brat!" Rong Yi's temper flared up again as soon as it had calmed down. If Yun Tianmo knew that he was once again on Rong Yi's mind, he would probably feel quite frustrated.
