"I know your habits; I have already sent everyone away from this courtyard." Those who could be seen were certainly gone, and as for those who could not be seen, they naturally did not exist.
"Are you even listening when I ask you something? I've been talking all this way, yet you can't even say a word? You need to tell me..."

She asked Liu Ying and Liu Lu, but both maids shook their heads, saying they were unaware of such existence.
"Finally here," the old woman said as she looked at Ouyang Hao. Her gaze was deep and weathered by time, yet upon closer inspection, it seemed she was looking through Ouyang Hao toward some unknown distance.
"Is Bai Su in the carriage?" The old woman stood up shakily, putting down the garment she was mending. "May I ask her to come down for a moment?"
Ouyang Zixin was a junior, and this old woman should also be an old friend of his parents, so it was only proper for him to go down and greet her. Without waiting for Ouyang Hao to speak, Ouyang Zixin instructed Liu Ying and Liu Lu to help her down from the carriage. Being young and short in stature was indeed troublesome.
When the old woman saw that it was not Bai Su who got off the carriage, her previously calm tone suddenly became intense, seemingly filled with anger: “Ouyang Hao, since it is not Bai Su, what are you doing here?”

Ouyang Hao nodded and checked around before instructing the guards to bring the carriage over and stop it not far from them, with the horses being led over as well.

“Hmph, quite clever.” The old woman heard Ouyang Zixin muttering to himself. Once everyone was prepared, she said a few words wishing them a safe journey and threw the dark object in her hand into the air.
