Just because her mother was obsessed with playing Mahjong, a three-month-old baby was forgotten in a heated pot.

On a day in July 2015, a woman named Ma Chunlan was preparing to boil water to bathe her three-month-old son.

However, after hanging up, she remembered that her son still needed a bath. What should she do?

She set up a large pot on the stove, filled it with water, and lit the fire before placing her son inside to soak.
Meanwhile, her friends called again, urging Ma Chunlan to hurry. In a panic, she disregarded her son in the pot and rushed off to the Game Room.
Several hours later, Ma Chunlan's husband, Yang Xiaolong, returned home from work.
As soon as he entered, he smelled a strange meat odor. He thought his wife had prepared a delicious dinner for him, but oddly enough, both his wife and son were not at home. It was getting late; where could they have gone?
When he attempted to serve the meat, what he saw in the pot shocked Yang Xiaolong to the point of collapsing on the floor.

After she regained consciousness, taking advantage of others not paying attention, she went to the rooftop of the hospital and chose to commit suicide by jumping off.
Her husband, Yang Xiaolong, was sentenced to five years in prison for intentional homicide.
What is surprising is that such a tragic incident could arise simply from an obsession with playing mahjong.
