After traveling for a while, one of them mentioned that he had been to this place before and that there was a small town ahead, which was located at the border between the Silver Moon Kingdom and the Haotian Kingdom.
Upon hearing this, Mink decided to take a break in that small town before letting everyone disperse to return to their respective positions.
Standing on the hilltop, Mink and the other members of the Tiger Legion could see the distant town. They only needed to cross two more hills to reach it.
However, just as they were about to descend from the hill, their horses suddenly became startled, kicking and jumping uncontrollably despite their attempts to rein them in.
Seeing all the horses in such a state, Mink quickly leaped off the back of her horse and crouched down on a nearby patch of ground to listen for any sounds.
As soon as she pressed her ear to the ground, she heard the thunderous sound of the Wild Wolf Pack approaching from behind. Recognizing that familiar sound, Mink knew that the Wild Wolf Pack had arrived.
She immediately stood up and said to everyone, "The Wild Wolf Pack is chasing us. We can't go to that small town; otherwise, they will destroy it."
Upon hearing this, everyone nodded in agreement. One person spoke up and asked, "Boss, what should we do now?"
After pondering for a moment, Mink replied, "That small town is too close; we need to turn back. Only by moving further away will the Wild Wolf Pack not discover it or attack it."
They quickly urged their horses to head back. However, their horses were unwilling to go in reverse, forcing them to pull hard on the reins.
But after only a short distance, the horses refused to move at all. At this point, Mink and her companions could already see the Wild Wolf Pack approaching in the distance.
One person pointed towards a direction diagonally opposite from the town and said to Mink, "Boss, should we hurry over there?"

While the distance had shortened, it wasn't a major issue until they found themselves at the edge of a cliff, with a rushing river below.
They quickly turned back, and there was a fork in the road between them and the Wild Wolf Pack. As long as they reached that fork before the Wild Wolf Pack did, they wouldn't be surrounded.
However, although they were fast, the Wild Wolf Pack was not slow either. Just as they passed the fork, the Wild Wolf Pack caught up with them.
Their horses were already restless and panicked; upon seeing the fierce wolves ahead, they became even more agitated, kicking and jumping around wildly.
The horses' restlessness delayed Mink and her group, allowing the Wild Wolf Pack to catch up.
