While Luo Bingbing was focused on packing the delicious Roasted Wild Boar, she completely overlooked the little creature on her shoulder and its chain reaction of expressions. She was diligently cleaning up the scene of the latest chapter.
After packing the roasted meat, Luo Bingbing glanced at the sky, realizing that dawn was still a while away. She thought it would be a waste of time to head back now since she was already out; instead, she decided to practice her Ability a bit longer.

As soon as they arrived in the Purple Bamboo Forest, she sensed a familiar aura in the air. She recognized it as Shadowless's presence. Before she could react, Shadowless floated out from the bamboo grove and knelt before her.
"Subordinate pays respects to the master. I have followed your instructions and specially trained those from the Assassin Alliance for a month. I now invite you to assess their progress."
Upon hearing Shadowless's words, Luo Bingbing replied calmly, "Get up! You've worked hard."
"It's no trouble; it's what I should do," Shadowless quickly responded after hearing Luo Bingbing's words.
On the surface, Shadowless appeared composed and calm, but only he knew how excited and exhilarated he felt after hearing Luo Bingbing's words. He felt that his month spent in the Underworld was worth it. Although Luo Bingbing had only said a brief sentence, it filled him with affirmation and comfort.
In his heart, as long as he could receive a nod of approval or a smile from Luo Bingbing, he felt utterly satisfied.
Luo Bingbing casually glanced at Shadowless and smiled slightly before slowly asking, "How did you end up here?"
Hastily responding to Luo Bingbing's question, Shadowless said, "In response to your inquiry, I returned to the royal residence earlier but found you were not there. I guessed you might be practicing here, so I hurried over to check." He paused for a moment, glancing at Little One before continuing, "When I arrived here and didn't see your figure, I searched around. I thoroughly checked this bamboo grove but couldn't detect your presence or see you anywhere. After observing that it was still early, I decided to wait for you here in the bamboo forest."
Luo Bingbing nodded slightly after hearing Shadowless's explanation but did not say anything further.
Suddenly, the bamboo forest returned to its tranquil state under the night sky.
The night was hazy and silent, even the gentle breeze seemed to have grown lazy, quietly hiding away, unwilling to come out.
Luo Bingbing had just turned to practice in the Purple Bamboo Forest when she suddenly remembered the roasted wild boar she had brought from the hot springs. Thinking about how Shadowless had been looking for her for so long, he probably hadn't eaten yet.
So, she glanced at Shadowless across from her and tossed the roasted meat towards him, saying lightly, "Shadow, eat this roasted meat first. After you finish, come over to practice in the bamboo forest." As she spoke, she pointed with her finger to a clear spot in the Purple Bamboo Forest.
"Yes, I will obey," Shadowless quickly replied.
On the surface, he appeared calm and collected, exuding a cool demeanor. But only he knew that waves of emotion were stirring within him, each one more shocking than the last. A certain string in his heart had been unintentionally touched by Luo Bingbing...
Since he could remember, no one had ever cared for him, nor had anyone asked if he had eaten. After all these years, today was the first time someone showed such concern for him. He couldn't help but feel excited, thinking that his wait had been worth it and that his choice was indeed correct. He silently vowed to protect this Little One before him for life, ensuring she would not suffer even a bit of harm or grievance; he would be her most loyal guardian.
Luo Bingbing paid no mind to what he was thinking or how moved he felt. As soon as she finished speaking, she headed straight to the clearing in the bamboo forest to practice.
After Luo Bingbing left, Shadowless cautiously opened the roasted meat she had given him. Using a hidden dagger, he cut off a large piece and began to eat.
As soon as he took a bite, he was astonished; he had never tasted such delicious roasted meat before. Looking down at the remaining piece in his hand, it was indeed wild boar! He couldn't help but think: in his line of work as an assassin, he often cooked meat while on missions in the wild for survival. His roasting skills were quite good; even his few close colleagues said that his roasted meat tasted better than what was served in restaurants. Because it was given to him by Luo Bingbing, he ate it very carefully, no matter how delicious it was or how much he wanted to eat, wanting to save some for later.
