Feeling the steady breathing of Luo Bingbing, her heart finally calmed down, safely settling into the latest chapter.
With joy, she held Luo Bingbing tightly in her arms. Suddenly, a "rip" sound came from behind her. Unable to see, she could only reach out and touch, realizing it was the tear in her clothes caused by the whip. She had gripped too tightly earlier, making the tear even larger.
The Nursemaid thought to herself, "Fortunately, this place is remote and there aren't many people around; otherwise, I would really be exposed."
What she didn't know was that both she and Luo Bingbing were within a barrier set by Luo Bingbing, making them invisible to outsiders who could not detect their presence.
However, they could clearly see everything outside the barrier.
The Nursemaid glanced around and spotted the little fox that had been resting on Luo Bingbing's shoulder in the royal palace dungeon. It was now lying on a nearby rock, sleeping with its eyes closed.
At that moment, the Nursemaid realized how beautiful the little fox was, its fur as white as snow without a single speck of color. She couldn't help but exclaim inwardly, "What a beautiful little fox!"
But the little fox was unaware that the Nursemaid had already woken up inside the barrier and did not know that the Nursemaid was currently watching it intently while happily playing chess with Zhou Gong!
After a brief moment of observation, the Nursemaid returned her focused gaze to the Little One in her arms.
She continued to hold Luo Bingbing like this; even though her legs were numb, she had no intention of putting Luo Bingbing down and didn't want to let go.
The sun slowly descended towards the horizon while the moon quietly climbed up the treetops. One by one, twinkling stars emerged, seemingly eager to fill the vast night sky!
The hazy moonlight shone through the bamboo forest, adding an enchanting quality to the originally purple bamboo grove.
It appeared full of infinite temptation, making one unable to resist wanting to part the mist and eagerly seek answers, wanting to see what lay within!
The Nursemaid moved her stiff neck and saw a little fox outside the barrier, gnawing on something that looked like food.
Seeing the little fox eating, the Nursemaid felt her own stomach rumble with hunger. She wanted to find something to eat but was afraid that if she left, Luo Bingbing would wake up and panic upon finding herself alone. She also worried about snakes and insects that might harm Luo Bingbing at night. So, she decided to wait until Luo Bingbing woke up before looking for food.
After finishing all the roasted meat in front of it, the little fox finally felt full. It looked around but still did not see Luo Bingbing, so it squinted its eyes again and fell back into slumber.
Time passed slowly, and dawn began to break in the east. The moon had quietly vanished, and the twinkling stars were also fading away. Only one shining Morning Star remained in the sky, guiding the darkness away and heralding the arrival of dawn.
Thus, the Nursemaid held onto Luo Bingbing throughout the night without searching for food, enduring the hunger in her belly.
In the morning, when the first rays of sunlight pierced through the clouds, dispelling the mist and refracting colorful light, the water droplets on the leaves sparkled.
The Nursemaid noticed that Luo Bingbing had not yet woken up, which made her feel a bit anxious. However, she kept reassuring herself, "Perhaps Little Princess is just too tired and needs more rest."
Suddenly, she spotted half a Roasted Mountain Chicken across from them on a large rock. She knew that it must have been prepared by Little Princess.
Seeing the Roasted Mountain Chicken made the hunger that Nursemaid had momentarily forgotten resurface, and her stomach appropriately grumbled twice.
Hearing her stomach growl, the Nursemaid glanced again at the Roasted Mountain Chicken and couldn't help but swallow hard. She hadn't eaten anything for a day and night nor had a drop of water; she was truly starving.
She thought to herself that if Little Princess woke up while she fainted from hunger, who would take care of her?
With this in mind, she quickly moved her stiff body and carefully laid Luo Bingbing flat on the large rock before gently stepping down from it. After being inactive for so long, her blood circulation was poor; as soon as the Nursemaid stood up, she collapsed.
Sitting on the ground, the Nursemaid thought it was just because she was too hungry and lacked strength that she fell down. She got up again but immediately fell back down once more.
At this moment, the desire for food grew stronger in the Nursemaid's heart. Thinking that since she didn't have the strength to stand up and walk, she might as well crawl over!
Thus, the Nursemaid crawled step by step to the Roasted Mountain Chicken Noodles. Although she was very hungry, she thought that if she felt hungry, then the Little Princess would surely feel hungry when she woke up too. So she divided half of the Roasted Mountain Chicken into two halves and only ate one half herself.
Having barely filled her stomach, the Nursemaid felt a bit thirsty. Noticing there was no water source nearby, she thought about looking around for one.
However, she was unaware that Luo Bingbing had set up a barrier and did not know that unless Luo Bingbing removed it, not only could those outside not enter, but those inside could not leave either.

As a result, the little fox completely ignored the Nursemaid and showed no reaction!
Seeing that the little fox did not respond, the Nursemaid picked up a small stone from the ground and threw it at the little fox in an attempt to wake it up.

Still feeling thirsty, she had no choice but to look for dew on the Purple Bamboo Leaves next to a large rock. Fortunately, there was plenty of dew on the bamboo leaves in the early morning, enough to quench her thirst.
After drinking enough water, the Nursemaid returned to Luo Bingbing's side and held her in her arms.
Luo Bingbing showed no reaction whether she was sleeping on the large rock or in the arms of the Nursemaid. If it weren't for her breathing and the beating of her heart, the Nursemaid would have truly believed that her Little Princess had already passed away.
The sun gradually rose higher, and the Nursemaid looked at the sun, realizing it was almost noon. However, the Little One in her arms seemed still fast asleep, tightly closing her eyes.
The Nursemaid felt a mix of worry and self-comfort.

Outside the barrier, a small fox remained with its eyes half-closed, ears perked up, sleeping while listening to the sounds around it.
Time flew by like an arrow, and days passed swiftly.

The fiery sun had set, and the birds that had gone out to forage had returned to their nests; the full moon hung high in the night sky, with countless stars twinkling in the vast expanse above.
Under the moonlight, the small fox opened its sleepy eyes, listened carefully to the surrounding sounds, and felt a sense of calm. The gentle breeze carried no unfamiliar scents, only the refreshing aroma of bamboo shoots.
The small fox glanced toward where Luo Bingbing had disappeared and noticed that there was still no sign of her. It couldn't help but think, "It's been so long; why hasn't she come out yet? I'm hungry! Why isn't she out here roasting meat for me?"
With its eyes wide open, the small fox lay on the ground, staring intently at where Luo Bingbing had vanished. After watching for a long time without seeing her appear, its stomach growled with hunger. It wanted to find something to eat but feared that if Luo Bingbing came out and didn't see it there, she might leave. Then it would never get to enjoy delicious roasted meat again. So it had no choice but to stay put and continue waiting.
Inside the barrier, Luo Bingbing still kept her eyes tightly closed and did not wake up.
The Nursemaid was deeply worried, yet felt helpless, as no matter how much she called or shook Luo Bingbing, there was still no response. The Nursemaid's heart was in turmoil, unable to find any calm.
This place was desolate and rarely visited by people, and she could not leave. The Little Princess had not awakened, which filled her with fear and helplessness, yet there was nothing she could do.
Time passed swiftly, from dawn to dusk, and the sun was about to set again.
The sunset painted half the sky red, turning the white clouds into fiery red hues, creating a stunning view in the sky.
The little fox was extremely hungry, wandering around the edge of the barrier and making soft sounds. When the Nursemaid saw the little fox lingering outside the barrier, she realized it could not come in. Thinking about how she also could not go out, although her mind wasn't particularly sharp, she understood that this strange phenomenon must have been set up by the Little One in her arms to ensure their safety.
She couldn't help but feel deeply moved and reassured, yet her worry only grew stronger.
Seeing that the little fox seemed to be searching for them and appeared hungry, the Nursemaid thought about getting up to throw half of the Roasted Mountain Chicken to it. However, just as she considered putting Luo Bingbing down on a large stone, she suddenly remembered that there were strange things set up by the Little Princess over there. She realized she couldn't go out at all and had no choice but to abandon that idea.
