"Little... Princess, you... you... are back... that's great!" The Nursemaid smiled lightly, wanting to reach out and stroke Luo Bingbing's little face, but she couldn't lift her hands. She suddenly remembered that her tendons had been severed, and she could no longer move them. She felt like a useless person now; who would take care of the Little Princess? This thought filled her with deep concern, and she looked at Luo Bingbing with worried eyes.

Luo Bingbing saw the Nursemaid's worried expression and thought she was concerned about not having hands in the future. So she gave her a reassuring smile and said, "Nursemaid, are you worried about not having hands anymore? Don't worry! Even if you lose your hands, you still have me! I will take care of you for life. Besides, I will not only heal your injuries but also fix your hands so they will be just like before. Just relax!"
Upon hearing Luo Bingbing's words, the Nursemaid felt very confused and looked at her with a puzzled expression. She simply didn't have the strength to speak anymore and could only wait for Luo Bingbing to clarify things for her.
Seeing the Nursemaid's confused look, Luo Bingbing spoke again: "Nursemaid, just relax and don't doubt my words. Just follow me, and you will be fine. You will definitely be safe."
"By the way, this is the little fox; it has a strong Spiritual Connection!" Luo Bingbing pointed at the little fox while introducing it to the Nursemaid.
The Nursemaid nodded slightly at Luo Bingbing's words and gave her a reassuring smile.
Seeing that the Nursemaid was calming down, Luo Bingbing quickly said to her, "Nursemaid, I will first transfer some energy to you so that you won't feel as much pain. Please hold on for a moment; close your eyes and rest. Once I take you to a safe place, I will help heal you."
After hearing her words, the Nursemaid showed a deep smile and closed her eyes to rest.
Luo Bingbing transferred some energy to the Nursemaid to ensure she was no longer in life-threatening danger before gently laying her down on the ground. She activated her Inner Strength and used her Ability to employ Wind Ability to transport herself and the Nursemaid to the Purple Bamboo Forest outside Back Mountain City, where she often practiced.
This location had the densest energy elements, which was necessary for healing since the Nursemaid was severely injured.
Gently laying the Nursemaid on a large stone where she often meditated, Luo Bingbing noticed that the Nursemaid remained asleep with her eyes closed, completely unaware that she was no longer in the dungeon of the royal palace.
The little fox, although not asleep like the Nursemaid, lay quietly on Luo Bingbing's shoulder. Seeing that Luo Bingbing had placed the Nursemaid on the stone, it realized they had arrived at their destination and quickly jumped down, wagging its tail at Luo Bingbing.
Luo Bingbing slowly crouched down and patted its little head, softly reminding it: "Little one, be careful these days. I might not have time to roast meat for you. This is what we brought back earlier; I'll leave it here for you. If you're hungry, go ahead and eat! But after this, you'll need to find food on your own."
Luo Bingbing took half of a Roasted Mountain Chicken from their supplies and left the rest in front of the little fox.
As she wanted to stand up, she added in a low voice, "Little one, you can leave whenever you want."
The little fox seemed to sense Luo Bingbing's heavy and downcast mood, wagging its tail and letting out a few whimpers, as if to say it wouldn't leave and was trying to comfort Luo Bingbing in its own way.
Luo Bingbing told it, "Play by yourself," and turned to walk over to the Nursemaid.
She approached the Nursemaid and waved her hand to set up an invisible barrier, hiding both herself and the Nursemaid. Then she sat cross-legged beside the Nursemaid, closed her eyes, activated her Inner Strength, and used her Ability to heal the wounds on the Nursemaid's hands and body.
The Nursemaid was unaware of all this; she remained lost in sweet dreams.
Outside the barrier, the little fox saw Luo Bingbing and the Nursemaid suddenly disappear and panicked, thinking that Luo Bingbing had left it behind. It immediately ran toward where Luo Bingbing had just stood but ran into an invisible wall and was pushed back.
After bumping into the barrier, the little fox realized it could no longer search for Luo Bingbing. Instead, it quietly returned to guard the roasted meat.
It remembered a time at the hot springs when it couldn't find Luo Bingbing either, but she hadn't left or abandoned it; she had simply hidden away.
As long as it stayed here obediently, she would come out soon enough and would even give it delicious roasted meat to eat.
The little fox lay beside the roasted meat, slightly squinting its eyes as it entered a light sleep, but its ears stood upright, always listening for any sounds around.
Inside the barrier, Luo Bingbing continuously channeled her Ability into the Nursemaid's body, healing her wounds.
Time passed second by second. The wounds on the Nursemaid's body rapidly closed up, scabbed over, and fell away at a visible speed. Before long, there were no traces of her injuries left; they had completely vanished without a shadow.
All healed up, not even a hint of a scar remained. The Nursemaid's skin looked even smoother than before, resembling that of a baby!
Although Luo Bingbing kept her eyes closed, she knew that the wounds on the Nursemaid had healed completely. Only the tendons in her hands remained unrepaired.
The tendons in the Nursemaid's hands had been severed; since tendons are essential components of the hands' main structure, repairing them naturally required more effort.
Fortunately, Luo Bingbing's Ability level had reached White Level; otherwise, the Nursemaid's hands might have truly been ruined.
Luo Bingbing raised the energy within her to its peak, sending a torrent of Speed surging into the Nursemaid's body. The energy continuously flowed from Luo Bingbing into the Nursemaid, relentlessly impacting her body until it all converged in her arms, repairing her tendons.
Time passed second by second, and beads of glistening sweat covered Luo Bingbing's forehead.
She knew that her energy was running low, while the Nursemaid's tendons were still not fully repaired. She hurriedly absorbed the energy elements dispersed in the air into her body, transforming them into energy before sending them into the Nursemaid.
However, the energy elements in the air were limited. Gradually, they thinned out and could no longer meet Luo Bingbing's needs, causing her to feel increasingly anxious.
But she forced herself to calm down. Once she regained her composure, she sensed the Nursemaid's hands; they seemed to be almost healed, just needing one final surge of energy.
Without caring about the consequences, Luo Bingbing gathered all the remaining energy within her and sent it all at once into the Nursemaid's body.
As the energy left Luo Bingbing and flowed into the Nursemaid's arms, she knew she had succeeded! The Nursemaid's tendons had been repaired; her hands were completely healed. She also realized that her own energy was depleted and that she would soon fall unconscious, with no idea of when she would wake up.
Luo Bingbing couldn't help but feel grateful that she had brought half a Roasted Mountain Chicken for the Nursemaid before setting up the barrier. During her unconsciousness, the Nursemaid wouldn't go hungry...
Lost in thought, Luo Bingbing's small body leaned forward and fell.
The Nursemaid remained unaware of everything; she was still deep in slumber.
When Luo Bingbing's tiny form collapsed onto her chest, she did not awaken and remained oblivious to the fact that her Little Princess had fallen unconscious for her sake.
Time flew by swiftly!
In the blink of an eye, it was already noon on the second day.
The bright red sun shone down on the high mountaintop, and golden sunlight illuminated the little fox's snow-white fur, making it shimmer as if draped in a dazzling golden garment!
Yet the little fox still squinted its eyes, seemingly lost in dreams and unaware of its surroundings.
Within the barrier, the Nursemaid, pinned beneath Luo Bingbing, slowly opened her eyes. The intense light pierced her vision, causing her eyes to sting painfully, and she had no choice but to close them again. Gradually, she opened them a little at a time until she fully adapted and finally opened her eyes completely.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she was greeted by an unfamiliar environment, a strange place. Confusion washed over her as she thought, "Where am I?"
Suddenly, it all came back to her. She remembered being in the dungeon of the royal palace, tortured beyond recognition after having her tendons severed by them. It was Little Princess who had returned and saved her. But where was Little Princess now?
She hurriedly looked around, searching for any sign of the Little One. However, after scanning the area several times without spotting Little Princess, panic began to set in. She wanted to get up and search for her.
Then, she felt something heavy pressing against her chest. Turning her head quickly, she saw the very person she had been looking for—Little One was right there, lying on top of her.
Seeing Luo Bingbing in front of her calmed her racing heart. She quickly sat up and embraced Luo Bingbing in her arms, wanting to make sure she was comfortable while sleeping.
At that moment, it dawned on her that the pain in her body had vanished; all her wounds had disappeared. She was healed. Even the severed tendons in her hands had reattached and were more agile than before.
Excitement surged within her; she wouldn’t become a burden after all. She wanted to wake Luo Bingbing to tell her that she was completely healed and that she could always be by her side from now on, taking care of her.
However, after shaking Luo Bingbing a few times, there was still no response. Her heart sank as despair washed over her. She quickly shook the small body of Luo Bingbing again, but still received no reaction; Luo Bingbing remained unconscious.
Fear gripped her as she fought to suppress the rising panic. With trembling hands, she reached out to check if Little Princess was still breathing, hoping that she hadn’t lost her forever.
