The Golden Crow has descended from the mountain, and night has quietly fallen. 0

Luo Bingbing glanced at the sky and couldn't help but exclaim, "Time flies so fast!" 0

Just as she was lost in her thoughts, her stomach let out a loud growl, breaking the moment. It was then that Luo Bingbing realized she hadn't eaten anything all day and was feeling quite hungry. 0

"Little one, are you hungry? Wait here while I go catch some game for us to roast," Luo Bingbing said, slightly turning her head to the little fox resting on her shoulder. 0

However, the little fox seemed afraid that Luo Bingbing would hide again and it wouldn't be able to find her, so it was reluctant to wait and wanted to follow her instead. Seeing that the little one didn't want to stay behind, she decided to take it along. 0

In the forest, Luo Bingbing caught a few mountain chickens and wild rabbits. Knowing that the little fox was a glutton, she caught a few extra. After cleaning the game thoroughly, Luo Bingbing started a fire to roast it. Soon, the aroma wafted through the air, and the rich scent of roasted meat made the little fox drool, eagerly circling around the fire. 0

Finally, when the meat was ready, Luo Bingbing took down two Roasted Mountain Chickens and placed them in front of the little fox. As soon as it saw the delicious roasted meat, it pounced on it without fear of getting burned. 0

Seeing how eager the little fox was, Luo Bingbing quickly said to it, "Slow down! Be careful not to burn yourself; no one is going to steal it from you. There’s plenty more." The little fox seemed to understand her words and slightly slowed down. 0

After devouring two Roasted Mountain Chickens and still looking unsatisfied, Luo Bingbing gave it another Roasted Wild Rabbit. Once they were both full, Luo Bingbing wrapped up the leftovers in leaves to take back for her Nursemaid. 0

The little fox might have eaten too much; it lay lazily on the ground without moving at all. Noticing this, Luo Bingbing approached and gently patted its head, affectionately saying, "Little one! You rest here while I go soak in the hot spring and wash off all this dirt." 0

The little fox wagged its tail as if it understood her. Seeing its response, Luo Bingbing stood up and walked toward the hot spring. Upon reaching the edge of the spring, she set up an invisible barrier before slowly taking off her shoes and clothes and jumping into the warm water. 0

The warm spring water enveloped her entire body, with its continuous warmth reaching deep into her heart, refreshing her spirit! In that warm mist, Luo Bingbing enjoyed the pleasure brought by the spring water. 0

Suddenly, she remembered that she had found Crimson Grass at the bottom of this hot spring. So she held her breath and sank into the water, swimming toward the bottom. Perhaps due to the heat of the spring water making it murky, she swam around for a while but couldn't even catch a glimpse of the Crimson Grass. 0

She couldn't help but mutter to herself, "It seems that if I want to find that Crimson Grass, I'll have to let that little fox do it." 0

Unable to find the Crimson Grass, she had no choice but to swim back to the surface and continue her bath. The little fox on the shore was surprisingly obedient this time, not even opening its eyes, let alone getting up to bump into the barrier or leave. 0

After finishing her wash, Luo Bingbing finally emerged, but the little fox merely opened its eyes to glance at her before closing them again to continue sleeping, showing no extra expression. 0

This time, Luo Bingbing was not pleased. Seeing the little fox had eaten so much roasted meat and now was not moving to digest it, she quickly walked over to the little fox, picked it up with one hand, and tossed it into the hot spring. 0

It wasn't until there was a splash and she felt water all around that the little fox realized it was in the hot spring. It looked at Luo Bingbing on the shore with a pitiful expression while paddling its way back to the edge. 0

Seeing that the little fox was already in the water and wanted to come ashore without washing, Luo Bingbing hurried to the edge of the hot spring and stopped it from getting out, insisting that it clean itself in the spring first. 0

However, the little fox only swam around once before wanting to come back ashore. Luo Bingbing felt a surge of frustration when she saw it only swim a lap before trying to get out. 0

Suddenly, she thought of a way that could make it wash thoroughly while also helping it digest its food quickly: making it gather that fiery red treasure grass. Not only would it expend energy and speed up digestion, but it would also ensure that it came out clean without a speck of dirt. 0

"Little one, go down to the bottom and pull up some of that Crimson Grass you gave me before," Luo Bingbing instructed the little fox. 0

Upon hearing this, the little fox looked up at Luo Bingbing and then swiftly disappeared beneath the surface to search for the Crimson Grass. 0

After a while, its little head popped out of the water as it swam back to shore. Luo Bingbing took the fiery red treasure grass from its mouth without letting it rest and sent it back down to find more of that precious grass. Back and forth, until after ten trips and gathering twelve stalks of that fiery red grass, she finally allowed it to stay on shore and rest. 0

Luo Bingbing bundled up the collected Crimson Grass and tucked it into her wide sleeves. She held onto the bag of wild game in one hand and let the little fox jump onto her shoulder. Then she floated into the air, strolling on clouds as she headed back toward the prince's residence. 0

Meanwhile, Luo Bingbing had been away from the prince's residence for a day and a night, enjoying herself greatly; on the other side, Nursemaid was extremely anxious upon realizing Luo Bingbing was no longer in her room. She wanted to find someone to help search but didn't know who to look for. Fortunately, while tidying up the bedding, she discovered a note. 0

Although she had never attended school or learned much reading, she had been with Consort Yun since she was ten years old. Consort Yun was an educated woman who often composed poetry and painted, so Nursemaid had picked up a few characters along the way. However, there were still several characters on the note that she did not recognize; for those unfamiliar characters, she had no choice but to ask others. 0

Thus, she took the note and sought out someone who usually walked closely with her and knew more characters than she did. The only person who fit all three criteria was Zhang Hu, who stood guard outside the prince's study. So after hastily eating some breakfast, she took the note and went looking for Zhang Hu outside the study. 0

Although several members of the household were quite afraid of Luo Bingbing, they had been secretly monitoring Piaoyun Pavilion from outside its gates. As soon as Nursemaid stepped out, they quickly received word and sent someone to follow her discreetly in order to uncover what was happening. However, Nursemaid was too focused on finding Zhang Hu to notice all this unfolding in secret. 0

The Nursemaid found Zhang Hu and showed him the note, asking him to tell her what Little Princess had said. After reading the note, Zhang Hu conveyed Luo Bingbing's words to the Nursemaid. Upon hearing this, the Nursemaid hurriedly exclaimed, "Oh no, Little Princess told me not to leave Piaoyun Pavilion, but here I am! What should I do? I need to hurry back." 0

"Yes! It's not safe for you out here; you should return to Piaoyun Pavilion as soon as possible," Zhang Hu advised. 0

Listening to Zhang Hu, the Nursemaid quickly turned to head back. However, just as she exited the courtyard, she ran into the Second Princess Luo Caidie and the Fourth Princess Luo Cai Feng. 0

At this point, it was impossible to turn around or avoid them since they had already spotted the Nursemaid. 0

Even if the Nursemaid wanted to avoid them, it was futile because they were approaching her directly. They dared not seek revenge on Luo Bingbing, but they felt bold enough to vent their frustrations on her Nursemaid. 0

The Fourth Princess Luo Cai Feng was there to take out her anger on the Nursemaid, while the Second Princess Luo Caidie was simply there to watch and gather information. 0

The Fourth Princess's face was still slightly swollen; having been used to being pampered and never having been hit before, she felt a deep sense of indignation. While Luo Bingbing might be afraid, the Nursemaid was not. 0

She signaled her Personal Maid beside her, who stepped forward and addressed the Nursemaid mockingly, "Oh! Isn't this the famous Nursemaid from Piaoyun Pavilion? Where are you off to?" 0

The Nursemaid did not respond but hurriedly walked a few steps closer to the two Princesses and bowed respectfully, saying, "This servant greets Second Princess and Fourth Princess. Wishing both Princesses good fortune!" 0

The Fourth Princess Luo Cai Feng didn't even glance at her or respond, deliberately trying to make her kneel as a form of humiliation. 0

The Second Princess, being slightly older and more cunning, spoke up, "Get up! Are you serving at Piaoyun Pavilion?" 0

"Yes, Second Princess," the Nursemaid replied obediently. 0

Luo Caidie then asked, "You are a Nursemaid at Piaoyun Pavilion?" 0

"Yes," the Nursemaid answered again. 0

"Then why are you not attending to your master? Why are you out here alone? Where is your master?" Luo Caidie pressed further. 0

The Nursemaid was momentarily taken aback, then quickly crumpled the note in her hand tightly. After a moment of thought, in order to prevent them from knowing that the Little Princess had left the residence, she nervously replied, "In response to the Fourth Princess, the Little Princess is reading in the Piaoyun Pavilion." 0

But Luo Caidie was not someone to be easily deceived; her keen insight could easily see through the Nursemaid's small ploy. 0

"What do you have in your hand? Show it to me," Luo Caidie said with a look of suspicion mixed with certainty. 0

The Nursemaid instinctively took a few steps back and shook her head, saying, "Nothing." 0

Before Luo Caidie could respond, Luo Cai Feng spoke up in a low voice, "You wretched girl, how dare you defy us like that little... Are you itching for trouble?" She had intended to call Luo Bingbing "Little Bitch," but upon recalling that Luo Bingbing could use magic, she quickly changed her words. 0

The Nursemaid hurriedly replied, "This servant dares not." 0

Yet she remained frozen in place. 0

Seeing that the Nursemaid still did not step forward to hand over the note, Luo Caidie's brows furrowed slightly, but she remained silent, appearing calm and indifferent. 0

However, Fourth Princess Luo Cai Feng was not so composed. She instructed several nearby maidservants, "You all go and hold her down. Take whatever she has in her hand and show it to me." 0

The maidservants quickly responded in unison, "Yes." 0
