At this moment, Laya was deeply trapped in a nightmare. She clearly knew that this was a real event that had occurred since she could remember.
Faintly, anxious voices reached her ears, as if many people were calling out to her from a great distance, but it was too far for her to hear clearly.
She instinctively wanted to soothe those sorrowful voices, but she found herself unable to move, only able to let herself fall into the sticky darkness.
Suddenly, for a brief moment, she felt as if she had passed through a membrane; all the sounds around her vanished in an instant, yet she still remembered the sorrowful calls from just moments before.
The thought of finding them naturally appeared in her mind. They must be her family; they must be desperately trying to find her, just as she was trying to find them.
Now that she should have found them, she still felt that the two people she saw before losing consciousness were indeed her family.
As for their distant attitude when they first met, perhaps there had been some misunderstanding before her memory loss.
Sure enough, as soon as she opened her eyes, she saw her family standing by the bed. It was the silver-haired man who looked like he had a bad temper, but Laya felt that he would not harm her.
Seeing her awake, the Silver-Haired Zerg maintained a cold expression but respectfully said with a dismissive tone, "Queen, we are now taking you to the Delta Galaxy where humans reside. I will accompany you for a while."
He did not explain the decision not to step into the Zerg galaxy, but if Laya noticed and asked him about it, he would not hide it.
Laya still did not understand her identity, but she was not foolish; she sensed Liendel's cold attitude and felt a pang in her breath.
Could it be that the family she believed in did not actually like her?
She tried to stop her wandering thoughts. If her family treated her like a stranger, how could they take her away? And they would live together with her; wouldn't a family do that?
Laya let out a sigh. The fact that she could live with her family instead of being all alone in her nest made her very content.
However, Liendel kept calling her Queen, which troubled her a bit.
Laya opened her mouth, feeling anxious. As a newborn, she was still not very good at speaking. "Don't call me Queen; my name is Laya."
Liendel slightly turned to the side, surprised. "Are you asking me not to call you Queen but to use your name instead?"
Every Bug Queen inherently knows her position. They place great importance on the concept of hierarchy, which is deeply engraved in the Zerg genes and forms the foundation for the Queen's rule.
They would never allow their subordinates to address them by name; it must always be done with the utmost respect and honorifics.
He thought this new queen was up to something strange, but when he looked into those pure black eyes, he found only a hint of confusion and timidity, along with an endless sense of acceptance and gentleness.
His heart trembled, and all his malicious speculations melted away unknowingly.
"And what is your name?"
"Liendel." He unconsciously answered Laya's question.
Laya tilted her head. "What a strange name; I always feel like it's hard to pronounce."
So our powerful Bug Queen pondered for a moment, then smiled again, " Liendel."
He shivered all over; that guy Aivino always liked to call him by a nickname, and it made him feel sick every time he heard it. But when the little Queen addressed him like that, his eyes were filled with unreserved affection.
For a brief moment, he felt something in his heart soften.
Coming back to his senses, he wished he could slap himself. Hadn't he suffered enough? What if the new Queen was just pretending, letting him lower his guard before seizing the opportunity to manipulate him?
Seeing Liendel's fluctuating expression, Laya frowned slightly, feeling worried.
It seemed Liendel still had many things he hadn't told her. Was it because she didn't have the ability to solve the problems yet?
But that was okay; she would work hard in their future days together to become a family member that could be relied upon.
However, before that, she wanted to know where the other family member she saw before falling asleep was now.
" Liendel, where is the one with black hair?"
