"No! I was just asking casually," Chen Haoxuan pretended to lie.
Hearing that Chen Haoxuan had no intention of giving her a gift, Shen Ruyan pouted her lips and said disappointedly, "If you don't want to give me a gift, then why did you ask what I like? Hmph."
"I was just curious!" Chen Haoxuan replied awkwardly. If Shen Ruyan was unwilling to share, he would still say that he believed all beautiful things would appeal to girls.

Shen Ruyan lay beside Chen Haoxuan in silence, feeling a bit nervous. It was her first time lying next to a boy; even though it wasn't on a bed, it felt like lying on one.

He lay down for several hours and fell asleep. If Shen Ruyan hadn't woken him up, he might have slept until the next morning. When Chen Haoxuan woke up and saw that it was completely dark outside, he and Shen Ruyan went to find the horses grazing in the distance and rode back.
When Chen Haoxuan returned to the Dragon Group, Jiang Dong and the others were setting up their living quarters. The people from the Dragon Group treated them very well, delivering a large amount of high-end furniture.
Chen Haoxuan didn't take any furniture; he needed to work hard for the next few years instead of enjoying himself. That night, Chen Haoxuan didn't sleep; he was busy organizing his research lab. He continuously directed the Dragon Group members to bring him what he needed. Shen Ruyan also stayed awake, accompanying Chen Haoxuan. Although she couldn't help him directly, she enjoyed watching him work. She found his dedication impressive and even felt that observing him was a form of enjoyment.
His research lab was large and took an entire night to set up. However, this was just the beginning because many pieces of equipment were unavailable from the Dragon Group; in fact, the entire world lacked what Chen Haoxuan needed. Helplessly, Chen Haoxuan could only make do with what he had.
Chen Haoxuan temporarily entrusted Jiang Dong and the others to Shen Ruyan, allowing her to train them and reminding them that if they felt restless, they could challenge Jiang Dong to a sparring match.

However, Chen Haoxuan didn’t even glance at her and continued his research. After that incident, Shen Ruyan never sought him out again. Unfortunately for Jiang Dong and the others, it seemed she redirected her anger towards them. Every day, she would find experts from the Dragon Group to beat them up. She vowed not to stop until they were unable to stand.
Thus, Jiang Dong and the others no longer trained; instead, they fought with Shen Ruyan and her team daily. Although they lost every time, their strength improved significantly.
Now Chen Haoxuan was a madman, and among Jiang Dong's group emerged another madman—not Jiang Dong or Lin Hao, but Zhang Tiezhu. Zhang Tiezhu believed he was the strongest until he encountered Strongman, whose strength far exceeded his own. Unwilling to accept this, he trained relentlessly every day. It was more accurate to say he was torturing his body since he hardly rested and even slept outside.
Jiang Dong and the others did not want to push themselves as hard as Zhang Tiezhu and Chen Haoxuan did; however, Shen Ruyan forced them into it. They were beaten mercilessly every day, so they had no choice but to seriously absorb the fighting experience against Shen Ruyan's team.
Half a month had passed in the Dragon Group. One day after this period, Chen Haoxuan suddenly emerged from his laboratory. He handed over several barrels of green liquid to Jiang Dong and instructed them to soak in it every night after sparring with Shen Ruyan's team.
Jiang Dong had absolute trust in Chen Haoxuan. Following his instructions, after being beaten by Shen Ruyan's team that night, they soaked in the green liquid. The next morning, they woke up feeling invigorated; all their injuries had healed completely. This led them to suspect that Chen Haoxuan might be a god.
After learning about the green liquid developed by Chen Haoxuan, Strongman and the others curiously tried it out as well. They found lying in the liquid familiar; after just a few hours, they felt revitalized and discovered that their scars had vanished. When Shen Ruyan learned about this disappearance, she pressured Jiang Dong into giving her a barrel of the green liquid. If Chen Haoxuan knew what Shen Ruyan intended to use it for—beauty treatments—he would likely be very displeased.
The green liquid developed by Chen Haoxuan proved extremely useful for the Dragon Group because each member was a genius. Despite their impressive abilities, injuries were inevitable; having this green liquid meant that members of the Dragon Group essentially had a safeguard for their lives.
With Chen Haoxuan not coming out, the team leader felt awkward about disturbing him. Instead, he wrote down what he wanted to say on a note and asked Jiang Dong and the others to place it on the tray when delivering meals to Chen Haoxuan.
Chen Haoxuan saw the team leader's note and generously handed over a detailed report on how to make the green liquid. Upon reviewing the information provided by Chen Haoxuan, the team leader learned that this green liquid was called "Nutrient Water." Nutrient Water contains a large amount of beneficial substances for the body, so when Jiang Dong and the others lay down, their injuries would heal by the next day.
