Facing the Large Bronze Sphere, Li Hongyu felt increasingly that the patterns on its surface looked familiar, and not just once.
However, sometimes the more one tries to remember something, the more elusive it becomes. Li Hong was experiencing this now; his head ached from trying to recall what the patterns on the Bronze Sphere looked like.
Deciding to stop thinking about it, he leaped into the air and flew straight to the top of the towering Large Bronze Sphere, hoping to see what was above from a different angle.
To his surprise, the top was hollow, revealing the interior.
The entire interior of the Bronze Sphere, with a diameter of a hundred feet, was empty. At the top was a circular cavity about ten feet in diameter. Looking through this cavity into the Bronze Sphere's interior revealed a wondrous sight. Countless streams of multicolored light swirled around, resembling a kaleidoscope or the inside of a rainbow crystal, dazzling and vibrant, constantly changing and flowing. Just one glance made it impossible to look away.
It turned out to be an immense quantity of pure Five Elements Spiritual Energy!
This Five Elements Spiritual Energy was so pure that it could no longer be called Five Elements Spiritual Energy; it should be referred to as Five Element Energy. The entire interior of the Large Bronze Sphere was filled with this highly concentrated Five Element Energy, which neither overflowed nor dispersed but rolled continuously within. After observing for a moment, Li Hong realized that such pure and high concentration of Five Element Energy was actually produced by the inner wall of the Large Bronze Sphere.
How could the inner wall of a Large Bronze Sphere produce such pure and high concentration of Five Element Energy?
Li Hong shook his head; it was absolutely impossible. He flew down from the top of the Bronze Sphere and hovered in mid-air again, carefully examining the familiar-looking patterns on its surface.
Li Hong was almost certain that the mystery lay within these patterns.
One breath, ten breaths, a hundred breaths… time passed slowly as Li Hong remained motionless in mid-air, staring at these lines.
Gradually, these lines began to come alive in Li Hong's eyes, intertwining and connecting. Suddenly, he saw a gigantic Divine Dragon appearing in the center of the Large Bronze Sphere, stretching from east to west, undulating and winding, entirely composed of those curved lines.
"Middle-Earth Dragon Vein!" Li Hong exclaimed loudly as he slapped his forehead in realization. After thinking for a moment, he cautiously reached out to touch the surface formed by those lines depicting the Divine Dragon. Upon careful sensing, he immediately understood everything clearly; cold sweat began to pour down his forehead.
So despicable! So vicious! What a cunning scheme!
The Large Bronze Sphere is not a bronze-cast ball at all, but rather a focal point, a simulated image, and the center of the Restrictions.
Middle-earth is actually not flat; ancient people believed it was flat, which is incorrect. The entire Middle-earth is spherical in shape, with natural formations such as mountains, plains, basins, and hills on its surface. Many millennia ago, a powerful Ancient God from the Star Sect devised a cunning plan, utilizing the natural Spirit Veins of Middle-earth. With slight modifications, they set up an automatic gathering array that concentrated the Five Elements Spiritual Energy from the mountains and rivers, combining all the small spirit gathering arrays into one large natural formation. For tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of years, this Natural Spirit Gathering Array has gradually absorbed all the Five Elements Spiritual Energy produced by Middle-earth year after year.
The Ancient Divine Palace is a direct consequence of this exceptional Natural Spirit Gathering Array.
The interior of Middle-earth itself is not very stable, and the source of Spiritual Energy is quite mysterious. This instability necessitates nodes to release and balance the energy. Thus, the Nine Great Caves were formed; they are merely places to balance and release excess Spiritual Energy. In other words, both the Ancient Divine Palace and the Nine Great Caves are merely accessories to this natural exceptional array. What appears to be mysterious and profound in the eyes of many—the Nine Great Caves—was simply a stroke of luck by the Ancient God of the Star Sect after setting up the array.
The entire Natural Spirit Gathering Array serves the False Immortal Realm. This large Bronze Sphere is indeed the focal point of the array. The patterns on its surface represent the mountains and rivers of Middle-earth, modified from a naturally occurring massive exceptional Natural Spirit Gathering Array. The extracted Five Elements Spiritual Energy is compressed and refined to supply the entire False Immortal Realm.
The Middle-Earth Star is actually the energy source for the False Immortal Realm.
This is an enormous undertaking, but it is not difficult for the Ancient God of the Star Sect. However, Li Hong finds it strange that after coming from a distant outer realm to Middle-Earth Star with great effort and countless resources to establish such an exceptional array, their purpose seems merely to trap those cultivating in Middle-earth or Beast Cultivation?
To be honest, Li Hong does not believe that Middle-Earth cultivators pose any threat to them.
Yet if their intention was to trap those cultivating in Middle-earth, why did they leave so many divine traces behind? The Nine Great Caves, Temple City, and even the mysterious Underground Pyramid Forest Space are all remnants they left behind, clearly with some leeway since these caves contain many treasures.
The actions of these Ancient Gods are repeatedly mysterious; what exactly is their purpose?
Li Hongyu increasingly feels that the actions of the Ancient God of the Star Sect are incomprehensible. However, there is an urgent matter at hand.
Over these years, the False Immortal Realm has drawn too much Spiritual Energy from Middle-earth, resulting in diminishing Spiritual Energy within Middle-earth. This will lead to many terrifying consequences. First, as Spiritual Energy becomes too thin in Middle-earth, there will be fewer mortals with Spiritual Roots capable of cultivation, which will threaten the foundation of the entire Cultivation World. Second, similar situations will occur in the Nine Great Caves; over time, their Spiritual Energy will continue to thin until it matches that of the outside world completely. This means that places like Nine Great Caves and Temple City will lose their advantages for cultivation. The final dire consequence will be that Middle-earth becomes unsuitable for cultivation altogether. Mortals may continue to reproduce, but cultivators will face extinction.
In fact, signs of diminishing Spiritual Energy in Middle-earth have already begun to appear. For three thousand years, no one has ascended from the Cultivation World; this is indeed a first sign. The Spirit Scheme changes every three thousand years are actually automatic adjustments made by this natural Spirit Gathering Array every three thousand years. However, during this period's Spirit Scheme adjustment, no changes occurred in any cave dwellings, indicating that Spiritual Energy has become so scarce that it can no longer support self-regulation of the array. This is a second sign. There are many more signs if one were to count them.
The only solution now is to quickly destroy this Natural Spirit Gathering Array to buy more time for the Cultivation World. As for what happens afterward, that can be addressed later.
Li Hong's eyebrows twitched, and the Vermilion Bird Nine Li Blade appeared in his hand.
Outside, Ling Yanzi, Heavenly Torch, and Aurora were harboring ulterior motives. They stood in a triangular formation, vaguely aware that it was futile, surrounding the naive Spirit of the Hall in the center.

The tranquility that had lasted for countless years was shattered for the first time, and it was broken in a very violent manner.
The Spirit of the Hall was stunned; he gaped at the ruins flying up in the red light and exclaimed in astonishment, "The messenger actually blew up the central formation of the Middle-Earth Celestial Prison! Does he even know what he's doing?!"
Finally doubting, the Spirit of the Hall's gaze suddenly darkened as he looked coldly at Ling Yanzi and the others.
