At sunset, a green horizon finally appeared in Li Hong's eyes. He felt very excited and called out to Ling Yi Zi, rushing over as quickly as possible. 0

This was a vast land with rolling hills, where large brown, exposed ridges crisscrossed the expansive terrain, and some volcanoes were still smoking. Below lay large areas of yellow-brown desert, but more prominently were dense green jungles. These jungles resembled those of the Southern Wilderness, flourishing to an extraordinary degree; if one were to walk solely on foot, it would likely take a month to cover a hundred miles. 0

It was said that this place was ruled by some mysterious and powerful force. Since it was someone else's territory, it was better to keep a low profile. Flying boldly in the sky would make them easily noticeable. After discussing with Ling Yi Zi, Li Hong decided to fly low and close to the jungle. 0

As they ventured further inland, the jungle became increasingly dense. From above, no animals could be seen, but through Divine Consciousness, Li Hong could clearly sense countless animals scurrying below, including fierce beasts like tigers and wolves. 0

After an hour, Li Hong stopped and gestured to Ling Yi Zi, pointing downwards. 0

A small group of Indigenous People was swiftly moving through the forest below. 0

Li Hong and Ling Yi Zi stealthily followed behind them, carefully observing their actions. 0

These Indigenous People were dressed strangely; they were completely naked except for a circle of leaves and animal skins covering key areas. Their skin was a dark brown color resembling dirt, covered in various strange patterns, and their faces were painted with white chalk-like dye. Although they were not tall, they appeared quite fierce. They held weapons made from sharp stones fashioned into long spears and carried simple bows and arrows on their backs. As they moved through the forest, the Indigenous People made no sound at all, not even startling the birds in the trees. They looked experienced and resembled warriors. 0

After moving quickly for a while, the Indigenous People seemed to become more alert and began to slow their pace. At this moment, the tallest warrior at the front made a gesture and whispered something back to his companions; those behind began to find places to hide. A shorter Indigenous Person left the group and ran alone into the jungle. Judging by his movements, he lacked martial skills but was very agile—likely a scout. 0

After about a cup of tea's worth of time, the bushes ahead rustled slightly as the scouting Indigenous Person returned. After saying a few words, the leader's expression suddenly changed as he shouted loudly. 0

No sooner had he spoken than arrows whizzed through the air incessantly; three people fell to the ground immediately. In an instant, this small group of Indigenous People was surrounded by a larger group of Indigenous People. 0

The leader shouted again and forcefully threw his stone-tipped spear, which accurately pierced an enemy's chest. He then swiftly drew arrows from his quiver at his waist and nocked them onto his bowstring to shoot. Among the shorter Indigenous People, he stood out as exceptionally tall but was also extremely agile and shot accurately with his bow. While his companions fell one after another, he fought against the enemies using the terrain to his advantage and surprisingly did not seem to be losing ground for the moment. 0

As the encirclement grew tighter and all his companions fell, the Tall Native's expression became increasingly anxious. Just then, he let out a loud shout, dropped his bow and arrows, and tightly grasped his left shoulder, his body beginning to sway. 0

An arrow was firmly embedded in his shoulder, its tip darkened, clearly poisoned. 0

The group of Indigenous People ceased firing their arrows, shouting loudly as they collectively beat their bellies and chests, seemingly rallying themselves as they moved toward the Tall Native. Each face painted with strange patterns of dark brown was fixated on him, appearing very alert. 0

The Tall Native's body swayed more violently until finally his legs gave way, and with a thud, he fell backward. The enemy Indigenous People rejoiced, preparing to approach and bind him when suddenly a White Shadow flashed before their eyes. When they looked again, the enemy on the ground had vanished without a trace! 0

The Indigenous People were astonished, all looking up at the sky in unison. Then, with a thud, they knelt down and began to bow their heads repeatedly, simultaneously humming a strange tune that sounded almost like singing. 0

Uncertain how much time had passed, the Tall Native slowly regained consciousness to find himself lying on a flat stone. He could hear the sound of flowing water nearby. Reaching up to touch his shoulder, he discovered that the arrow which had been lodged there was gone; instead, there was a smooth piece of white cloth covering the wound, providing a cool sensation that surprisingly caused no pain at all. Alarmed, he flipped over and sat up just in time to meet Li Hong's bright black eyes. 0

The Indigenous People hesitated for a moment before bowing down again, mumbling something incoherent. Suddenly, one jumped up to point at the sky and then at Li Hong before kneeling back down on the stone to bow once more. This series of actions left Li Hong bewildered as he turned to Ling Yi Zi, only to see Ling Yi Zi shaking his head as well. 0

Li Hong scratched his scalp and smiled wryly; what could he do? With no way to communicate effectively, he pointed at himself and tentatively said, "I am Li Hong. What is your name?" 0

After repeating this three or five times, the Indigenous People finally understood and pointed at themselves saying, "Akateke." 0

It seemed that his name was Akateke. Following this, the two resorted to gestures for communication and eventually began drawing pictures in the dirt. About half an hour later, Li Hong realized he had made significant progress. 0

In this vast land were countless Indigenous People tribes; most worshipped similar gods associated with nature such as the sun, moon, and rain. However, deep within the central jungle lay a mysterious Great City that governed over more than a hundred surrounding tribes. These Indigenous People did not worship Nature Gods but rather some Evil God. For reasons unknown, this previously peaceful Evil God tribe had become increasingly active in recent years, expanding their reach into coastal areas where they had never ventured before and capturing prisoners to take back with them. A month prior, Akateke's tribe had been surrounded by them and many were taken captive on the spot. Akateke had narrowly escaped and followed the remaining warriors from his tribe in hopes of rescuing their people. Unfortunately, just as they entered enemy territory, they were discovered; if not for Li Hong's intervention, he too would have been captured. 0

According to Akateke, in the center of the Great City where the Evil God resides, there is a bottomless pool filled with countless bones. The malevolent Evil God dwells among the bones at the bottom of the pool. It is said to have devoured countless people, and all the captives it takes are merely food for its insatiable hunger. 0

Li Hong's heart stirred; it sounded remarkably like the Heaven and Earth Yin Spirit Eye, and could that so-called Evil God be some sort of evil creature similar to a Soul Devourer, an Ancient Spirit Beast? He inquired about the direction of the Great City where the Evil God lived. 0

Akateke pounded his chest fiercely, glaring with anger, and pointed southwest, clearly indicating he wanted to charge in with Li Hong. 0

Li Hong chuckled and patted Akateke on the shoulder, saying, "Great! Let's go together and turn that place upside down!" 0

He picked up Akateke and gestured towards Ling Yi Zi before swiftly darting forward through the trees. 0

The wind howled around them as they sped through the lush greenery. Li Hong glanced down at Akateke in his hand. The Indigenous People’s eyes were wide open, almost popping out of their sockets, his face pale with fear, clearly terrified to the extreme. Yet he remained silent. When he noticed Li Hong looking at him, he forced out a faint smile. 0

Li Hong couldn't help but give a thumbs up, praising him, "After all, you are a warrior; you’ve got guts!" With a twist of his feet, he leaped forward even faster. 0
