Suddenly, a three-dimensional array of symbols appeared in Li Hong's mind, densely packed and incomprehensible to his current vision. At the center of all these symbols was a strange black three-dimensional shape, resembling a silhouette quietly floating there. The Obelisk along with the Bagua Base beneath it are parts of this divine artifact. After Yandao obtained the Obelisk and Bagua Base, Yet No's method allowed them to recognize their master but could only utilize part of their functions. This function is soul transmission.
The Soul Devourer consumes corpses while also absorbing souls, transforming the corpse into a Demon Embryo or Demon Infant. However, the souls are collected by the Obelisk and transmitted to the Bagua Base below, which surely sends them to Yandao Demon Lord.
Yandao Demon Lord cultivates using these souls, continuously strengthening himself with this nearly endless source of energy, rapidly advancing his cultivation at an alarming rate every day.
The Heaven and Earth Yin Spirit Eye must play a significant role here. The Heaven and Earth Yin Spirit Eye itself is highly capable of attracting souls. Even if the Soul Devourer does not consume corpses, souls from all directions would still fly towards it, being absorbed by the Soul Devourer and transmitted to Yandao for consumption.

In front of Nine Li Peak Main Hall's square, Little Fei wasn't enveloped in a mysterious golden light like some fortune teller. It hovered in mid-air, slowly flapping its four golden wings while keeping its head down, intently watching something on the square below.
The White Jade Plaza was spotless; something strange was "sliding" across it where shadows could be seen. It was about three to four feet in diameter and appeared to be a puddle of black muck. However, this muck emitted loud strange roars from within. Gradually, the "muck" seemed quite dissatisfied and unhappy; it wriggled and contracted until it transformed into a black cylindrical shape three feet high and three feet wide. A small opening appeared at its top as it angrily spewed black gas toward Little Fei in the sky.
Little Fei's blue eyes rolled around as tiny sparkling golden lights began to emerge from its body.
Soul Devourer was instantly terrified; with a loud crash, it collapsed into a puddle of muck. The deep roar from within immediately ceased, leaving it utterly silent.
Li Hong found it quite amusing; indeed, there is always something that can counter another. The Soul Devourer, upon seeing Little Fei, was like a mouse confronted by a cat, terrified of Little Fei to the core. As long as Little Fei was present, the Soul Devourer was hardly a concern.
Little Fei's delicate voice conveyed, "Master, the Soul Devourer told me that some things are not what it wants to eat; those people forced it to eat them. So I decided to take it away, and you can decide what to feed it!"
Li Hong smiled at this.
In the distance, figures rushed toward Nine Separation Peak, all drawn by the Soul Devourer's muffled roar.

Chu Xi had skin as white as the bright moon, her long black hair styled high in a Dragon Bun Hairstyle. A bright red Fire Jade Hairpin sparkled atop her bun, and her flowing Silver Moon Robe billowed behind her, making her look radiant. At that moment, she was stunningly beautiful.
She smiled lightly and said, "You have returned." Her jade-white hand reached out to touch Little Fei, but her enchanting gaze remained fixed on Li Hong.
Her eyes were gentle as water, leaving Li Hong momentarily bewildered and silent for a long time.
