Old Man Lin had been running boats for twenty years, yet this was the first time he encountered such a strange occurrence.

Li Hong frowned: "I have already healed from my injuries and was about to leave, but these mortals saved our lives; abandoning them would be unjust. However, if we go with them on this ship, who knows when we will reach land. I know nothing about maritime affairs, and there is no Clear Water left on board. Do you have any good ideas?"
Ling Yi Zi's stern face revealed a faint smile: "I thought you might have some brilliant plan; turns out you were just lying."
"What else can I do? Right now, I need to reassure them. Even if I fly off to find fresh water, how will I locate this small Sea Ship when returning across such a vast ocean? I'm truly at my wit's end!" Li Hong said in frustration.
"Ask your jack-of-all-trades for advice. He must have a way," Ling Yi Zi said playfully, which was quite unlike his usual aloof demeanor.
"Jack-of-all-trades? Who are you talking about?" Li Hong asked in confusion.
"It's me! Ugh, everyone is thinking about me while you've forgotten about your brother!" Suddenly, a boisterous voice echoed in his mind—Heavenly Torch had awakened.
Li Hong was overjoyed and transmitted, "If you have a way, hurry up and say it. There are over a hundred lives on this ship. I, Li Hong, cannot stand by and watch them die."
"You only think of me when there's a tough problem to solve. Usually, you don't even acknowledge my existence!" Heavenly Torch complained from within the Fire Separation Pearl, scratching his chin with his tiny dragon claw, rolling his eyes.
Li Hong chuckled, "You can't blame me for that. Who knew when you would wake up or when you'd be practicing your sleeping skills?"
"I've made some progress and I'm in a good mood, so I won't argue with you! Here's the deal: tell those mortals to prepare for water. They should fill the deck with any containers they can find. Also, no matter what they see, they mustn't be afraid or scream! Otherwise, this ship will sink, and then don't blame me!" Heavenly Torch said with a playful tone.
Li Hong's heart sank. "You’re not planning to summon some kind of monster, are you?"
"Hehe, you're right about that. This is the open sea; anything could happen. Do you want Clear Water? If not, forget it!"
"I want it!"
Li Hong turned around and went to find Old Man Lin to relay the message. Old Man Lin was overjoyed and immediately gathered the sailors to follow Li Hong's instructions.
After giving his instructions, Li Hong suddenly felt a weight in his heart and turned back into the main cabin. He had just thought of a crucial issue that needed clarification.
Li Hong stared intently at Ling Yi Zi and said slowly, "Although you are my Master Uncle, I have always regarded you as a friend. Now I want to ask you how you know about Heavenly Torch?"
Ling Yi Zi looked at Li Hong leisurely and replied, "Do you really think this matter is still a secret? You are too naive." He then transmitted, "The Fire Separation Pearl is our sect's treasure. Heavenly Torch is the spirit of the Li Fire Formation, Divine Dragon. Do you think no one noticed when Heavenly Torch disappeared? You are gravely mistaken. Li Hong's heart sank sharply; he unconsciously clenched his hands as turbulent waves surged within him.
Since entering the sect, everything had gone smoothly for him—so smoothly that he had almost forgotten the uproar caused by the Fire Separation Pearl years ago. Now, after more than ten years, someone had finally discovered the truth about Heavenly Torch. What should he do? Would Ling Yi Zi report him to Ling Xuzi?
He recalled how Ling Xuzi and Master Spirit Stone spoke to him before he left the Mountain Gate; they probably didn't know anything. If Ling Yi Zi figured it out, who else could?
Ling Yi Zi's eyes slowly narrowed. "What do you intend to do?"

"He's telling the truth," the suddenly awakened Heavenly Torch in the Fire Separation Pearl spoke up. "When you were injured, I felt extremely uneasy and restless; then suddenly our Divine Consciousness communication was cut off. I fell into a daze and forgot about it until now when he mentioned it."
"He is a good person; don't worry. Even if they find out about this when we return to Mountain Gate, I will do everything possible to protect you," Li Hong said with emotion.
"Yes, he is indeed good; I have confidence in you too. But," Heavenly Torch changed its tone and exclaimed, "what does he mean by that? Are we really inseparable from now on? Even after ascending? "You ungrateful little brat!" Heavenly Torch cursed loudly.
Li Hong interrupted without hesitation, "Why think so far ahead? Ascension is still a long way off, and everything is just speculation. It's time to carry out your so-called Clear Water plan. What exactly do you want to do?"
Heavenly Torch paused, his dragon face showing a rather uncomfortable expression. "Actually, it all depends on luck... I don't even know if it's here, but let's give it a try."
