The sky finally darkened, and Li Hong was more cautious, deciding to wait until it was completely dark before taking action. He took out some purple exotic fruit and shared it with Chuxiong Huifeng, who praised it enthusiastically. 0

As Li Hong nibbled on the fruit, he suddenly realized that he was quite worried about the Spirit Monkey King. He also thought of a major problem: if the Ancient Celestial Field was truly destroyed, what would happen to the spirit beasts inside? They had lived there since ancient times and were unaware that their space was facing imminent disaster. 0

He wondered how Yun Jiuzi was doing now. Just then, Chu Xi shouted, "Someone's coming!" 0

A streak of sword light shot through the sky like a meteor, and from a distance, Li Hong could sense the familiar fluctuations of Li Fire Aura. He stood up abruptly and exclaimed, "It's our people!" 0

Chuxuan, Chu Liang, Chu Hai, and about ten other senior brothers flew in like frightened dogs, each panting heavily. One shouted, "I can't hold on! I'm taking another Fire Origin Pill; cover me, brothers!" 0

Li Hong said solemnly, "You three prepare for battle! I'll go meet them!" Without further concern for hiding Yue Que, he shot forward in a beam of golden light and arrived in an instant. 0

Before they could understand what was happening, another person suddenly appeared before them. Li Hong had already stored away Yue Que and was hovering above Lingyi. He called out loudly, "What happened?" 0

Chu Hai and the others were overjoyed; even the usually stern Chu Liang exclaimed, "Sixth Senior Brother! Great to finally find you. Let's go! Someone is chasing us!" 0

Li Hong was taken aback and drew out his Dragon Tail Whip. He craned his neck to look back and asked, "Who is chasing you?" His cultivation level and Divine Consciousness far surpassed theirs; after a careful probe behind him, he found no one pursuing them. 0

Chuxuan shouted, "We don't know if we shook them off! If we hadn't escaped quickly when we had the chance, we might have ended up like those Zhao Zhen Sect disciples!" 0

It turned out that since they had parted ways that day, the Emei people had been holding them as hostages. They were always ordered to be the first ones to gather herbs or fight beasts. After several close calls, Chu Hai still couldn't lift one of his arms. The Nine Li Sect members were very dissatisfied but felt powerless against the overwhelming force. Moreover, there was a captain named Chu Huai who always sided with Emei. Just three days ago, Yet No had encountered Zhao Zhen Sect members. Chuxuan decisively approached them. 0

This time, there were quite a few new disciples from Zhao Zhen Sect entering the Ancient Celestial Field—around eighty in total. Although Zhao Zhen Sect ranked below Emei among the Nine Major Sects, their strength should not be underestimated. Most importantly, their leader Yajiangzi was known for being steady and fair in his dealings and rarely involved himself in internal conflicts within the Immortal Sect; even Emei Sect Leader Yiyang had to give him some respect. 0

The leading senior brother from Zhao Zhen Sect had an air reminiscent of his master. After asking about the situation in detail, he immediately deemed Emei's evidence insufficient; it was absurd to conclude that Nine Li Sect conspired with someone they barely knew based solely on a few words spoken before death. Seizing this opportunity, Chuxuan proposed leaving with Zhao Zhen Sect members. The Nine Li Sect members quickly agreed while leaving Chu Huai behind without anyone paying attention to him. They hurriedly followed Zhao Zhen Sect. 0

Unexpectedly, after night fell, accidents began to occur. First, two scouting disciples from Zhao Zhen Sect went missing without a trace. Then everyone suddenly came under attack from monsters. During the counterattack, a group of Black-Clad Masked Men suddenly appeared and attacked. The scene became extremely chaotic; amidst the darkness were screams of agony as they couldn't see how many enemies there were. In their panic-driven attacks, Zhao Zhen Sect even injured their own people. 0

Fortunately, because Nine Li Sect had fewer members at that time, they stayed closely grouped together. Chuxuan had already planned to escape and led everyone away quickly. They finally managed to leave the battlefield behind. Having heard from Li Hong about the complex routes within Ancient Celestial Field, he immediately guided everyone through winding paths toward the first spatial exit. 0

However, someone had already set their sights on them. Although Chuxuan did not see the enemy's appearance, their powerful aura made his heart race with fear; he dared not stop for a moment and led everyone at top speed through Ancient Celestial Field using complicated routes to evade capture while occasionally feeling those strong presences closing in behind them. After much effort escaping to the second spatial area, they coincidentally ran into Li Hong. 0

Li Hong pondered. Who was targeting the disciples of the Immortal Sect who had come to compete? If they previously only dared to kill solitary loose cultivators, now they were openly attacking the disciples of the Nine Major Sects! But—were they from the same group? 0

"Could it be the Demon Sect Monsters?" Li Hong asked in a low voice. 0

Chuxuan was taken aback: "The Demon Sect! Are there Demon Sect Monsters in the Ancient Celestial Field?" He clearly had no idea. 0

Li Hong touched his forehead band, unsure if he should tell Chuxuan about the solitary person who had their entire spiritual power drained. 0

Chuxuan continued, "I couldn't see their numbers or movements clearly, but I don't think these people are Demon Sect Monsters. My master once told me that the techniques of the Demon Sect Monsters are very different from those of our Immortal Sect, often filled with a chilling aura. Although these enemies deliberately concealed their techniques and movements, and even their magical artifacts felt unfamiliar, they don't seem to practice the techniques of the Nine Major Sects. But I can roughly confirm that they should be from our Immortal Sect and not from the Demon Sect Monsters. Their cultivation levels are all terrifyingly high; I estimate they are all above the Golden Core Stage! Thankfully, Sixth Senior Brother, you had already thoroughly understood the paths of the Ancient Celestial Field. I was quick to react, which allowed us to barely escape with our lives!" 0

Li Hong felt a headache coming on; now three groups of enemies with different backgrounds had appeared in the Ancient Celestial Field. The first group was naturally that Old Demon, the second group, according to Old Demon, was impersonating the Demon Sect but using Demonic Cultivation Techniques, so we might as well consider them part of the Demon Sect as well. The third group consisted of these masked figures in black who attacked disciples of the Immortal Sect but did not resemble the Demon Sect yet were Golden Core Stage experts. 0

It was too chaotic; what on earth was happening? 0

"Stop thinking about it; let's get out of here! We need to regroup with our master; I don't want to stay in this place any longer!" Chuxuan surprisingly said this. Looking at his fatigued face and vacant eyes, with barely any spiritual power left, he was indeed exhausted. 0

The group stood on Tenth Peak for a brief rest while Li Hong took out Fire Origin Pills to distribute among them. 0

"We'll only stay for a short incense time; brothers, hurry up." 0

Li Hong didn't want to linger, but who knew what awaited them in the first Basin space? This place was relatively safe; as long as someone pursued them, they could leave immediately, so he decided to stay temporarily. 0

He and Chu Xi guarded their surroundings. The four stood at each corner, gazing into the distance with heightened vigilance and suspicion. Li Hong kept thinking about who the enemy could be and gradually realized that all clues pointed in a very bad direction... 0

At that moment, a heavy surge of energy violently erupted from deep within the Basin beneath them. Just as Li Hong was startled, he saw the Peak beneath him begin to shake violently; rocks tumbled down as if caught in a stormy sea. 0

"Something's wrong! Everyone get up and move!" Li Hong recalled how he had attacked Jade Cottage; could it be that someone had entered again and was shaking the Center Restriction? 0

Before him appeared that strange shadow. The Old Demon had gone in! Li Hong's eyes widened in shock as he shouted without hesitation: "Get up and go! The Demon Sect Monsters are coming!" 0

Nine Li Sect The crowd was startled and jumped three feet high, quickly taking to the skies on their swords, flying back towards Ninth Basin under Li Hong's lead. 0

They soon reached the edge of the Basin, and without a moment's hesitation, Li Hong closed his eyes and was the first to rush forward. 0

Opening his eyes, before he could see his surroundings clearly, Li Hong felt a tremendous surge of energy impact from beneath his feet, sending chills down his spine. In a moment of panic, Yue Que burst forth from his forehead and propelled his body forward, feeling that immense energy brush past him before he stopped and turned back to look. 0

He was immediately stunned. They were still in the second group of the Basin space! 0

The terrain around him was all too familiar, with vast swathes of surging crimson Toxic Miasma beneath his feet. A gigantic head was slowly emerging from the Toxic Miasma, countless gleaming monstrous eyes opening and closing atop it. It was the creature hidden in the Ninth Basin that could launch poisonous orbs. 0

With a roar, the monster threw its head back and let out a deafening cry that echoed throughout the entire space. Boulders rained down from the surrounding peaks, creating an extremely terrifying scene. 0

Next to the Giant head were many tiny figures—Chu Xi and the others. 0

"Get away!" Li Hong shouted. In an instant, he made a decision, gritted his teeth, and Yue Que charged out. 0

A beam of golden light shot forth almost in a straight line, striking directly at one of the giant eye's center. 0

"Boom—" 0

"Roar—" 0

Yue Que hit the monster's eye squarely; the golden light surged and flashed back. The creature howled in pain and suddenly straightened its body, rapidly chasing after Li Hong. 0

Li Hong retracted Yue Que, feeling darkness closing in. His Upper Dantian felt empty—just now, that strike from Yue Que had nearly drained all his Awareness, almost leaving him unable to fly. With a thought, he took out a piece of Supreme Celestial Stone from his “Cosmic Bag,” quickly absorbing Multicolored Spiritual Energy, while using Lingyi to fly backward uncontrollably. 0

The Giant relentlessly pursued him, its massive body rising higher and higher from the Toxic Miasma. 0

Li Hong felt a chill run down his spine, what on earth was that! A giant head the size of a hill, with nothing but a huge frog-like mouth and enormous eyes the size of a foot in diameter. Its lower body was a long, thick snake-like form that moved like a caterpillar, undulating rapidly as it advanced, sending shivers down the spine of anyone watching. 0

With just a glance, Li Hong turned to flee, suddenly aware of a hot, fishy odor rushing towards him from behind. Without looking back, he knew it was the monster's unique weapon. He narrowly dodged two dangerously close projectiles, two red orbs whizzing past him and flying into the distance. "Boom!" They struck a nearby mountain peak, causing it to shatter at its waist, sending rocks flying and dust billowing into the sky. 0

In the distance, Chu Xi shouted, "Quick, fly this way!" 0

"You all go ahead! I'll draw the monster away!" Li Hong yelled back. 0

Just moments ago, Yue Que's attack had drawn the monster's attention away from Chu Xi and the others to chase after him. If he rushed over now, it would be all for nothing! 0

The monster was both anxious and furious. In just a few steps, it emerged completely from the Toxic Miasma, its long snake-like body coiling out. Its massive head began firing poisonous orbs wildly at Li Hong. After a few more steps, its thick body coiled around a mountain peak near the Basin, raising its enormous head high into the sky as it let out a long, eerie howl. It seemed agitated and no longer cared about Li Hong. 0

The Ancient Celestial Field shook violently; the mountains trembled and rocks flew everywhere as thick black smoke rose up to the clouds. Dark clouds rushed in like galloping horses, creating an apocalyptic feeling. 0

The entire space felt unstable. It was clear that the monster was feeling intense unease because of this. 0

Time to escape! Li Hong made a quick decision. Lingyi and Iridescence flashed brightly as he shot towards the horizon. 0
