The sky finally darkened, and Li Hong was more cautious, deciding to wait until it was completely dark before taking action. He took out some purple exotic fruit and shared it with Chuxiong Huifeng, who praised it enthusiastically.

Nine Li Sect The crowd was startled and jumped three feet high, quickly taking to the skies on their swords, flying back towards Ninth Basin under Li Hong's lead.
They soon reached the edge of the Basin, and without a moment's hesitation, Li Hong closed his eyes and was the first to rush forward.

Opening his eyes, before he could see his surroundings clearly, Li Hong felt a tremendous surge of energy impact from beneath his feet, sending chills down his spine. In a moment of panic, Yue Que burst forth from his forehead and propelled his body forward, feeling that immense energy brush past him before he stopped and turned back to look.
He was immediately stunned. They were still in the second group of the Basin space!
The terrain around him was all too familiar, with vast swathes of surging crimson Toxic Miasma beneath his feet. A gigantic head was slowly emerging from the Toxic Miasma, countless gleaming monstrous eyes opening and closing atop it. It was the creature hidden in the Ninth Basin that could launch poisonous orbs.
With a roar, the monster threw its head back and let out a deafening cry that echoed throughout the entire space. Boulders rained down from the surrounding peaks, creating an extremely terrifying scene.
Next to the Giant head were many tiny figures—Chu Xi and the others.
"Get away!" Li Hong shouted. In an instant, he made a decision, gritted his teeth, and Yue Que charged out.
A beam of golden light shot forth almost in a straight line, striking directly at one of the giant eye's center.
"Boom—"
"Roar—"
Yue Que hit the monster's eye squarely; the golden light surged and flashed back. The creature howled in pain and suddenly straightened its body, rapidly chasing after Li Hong.
Li Hong retracted Yue Que, feeling darkness closing in. His Upper Dantian felt empty—just now, that strike from Yue Que had nearly drained all his Awareness, almost leaving him unable to fly. With a thought, he took out a piece of Supreme Celestial Stone from his “Cosmic Bag,” quickly absorbing Multicolored Spiritual Energy, while using Lingyi to fly backward uncontrollably.
The Giant relentlessly pursued him, its massive body rising higher and higher from the Toxic Miasma.
Li Hong felt a chill run down his spine, what on earth was that! A giant head the size of a hill, with nothing but a huge frog-like mouth and enormous eyes the size of a foot in diameter. Its lower body was a long, thick snake-like form that moved like a caterpillar, undulating rapidly as it advanced, sending shivers down the spine of anyone watching.
With just a glance, Li Hong turned to flee, suddenly aware of a hot, fishy odor rushing towards him from behind. Without looking back, he knew it was the monster's unique weapon. He narrowly dodged two dangerously close projectiles, two red orbs whizzing past him and flying into the distance. "Boom!" They struck a nearby mountain peak, causing it to shatter at its waist, sending rocks flying and dust billowing into the sky.
In the distance, Chu Xi shouted, "Quick, fly this way!"
"You all go ahead! I'll draw the monster away!" Li Hong yelled back.
Just moments ago, Yue Que's attack had drawn the monster's attention away from Chu Xi and the others to chase after him. If he rushed over now, it would be all for nothing!
The monster was both anxious and furious. In just a few steps, it emerged completely from the Toxic Miasma, its long snake-like body coiling out. Its massive head began firing poisonous orbs wildly at Li Hong. After a few more steps, its thick body coiled around a mountain peak near the Basin, raising its enormous head high into the sky as it let out a long, eerie howl. It seemed agitated and no longer cared about Li Hong.
The Ancient Celestial Field shook violently; the mountains trembled and rocks flew everywhere as thick black smoke rose up to the clouds. Dark clouds rushed in like galloping horses, creating an apocalyptic feeling.
The entire space felt unstable. It was clear that the monster was feeling intense unease because of this.
Time to escape! Li Hong made a quick decision. Lingyi and Iridescence flashed brightly as he shot towards the horizon.
