The Heavenly Torch emitted a strange energy wave from the Fire Separation Pearl, circling endlessly. This energy wave had no combat power, but it seemed capable of sensing invisible things—such as Restrictions. This was likely a special ability of the Heavenly Torch.
"Hehe, this isn't really my original skill. I got the inspiration from those two old bats a few days ago. I made a few small improvements, and it works perfectly without consuming any of my Dragon Power," the Heavenly Torch cackled proudly.
After fiddling for a while, he said, "Alright, now you jump to the right wall three zhang away, three feet off the ground. Remember, you can't touch anything and can't use any magical artifacts. You have to lie down exactly where I say, not a fraction off! Don't make too much noise!"
Li Hong stood behind the doorway, looking awkwardly at the spot indicated by the Heavenly Torch. In front of him was Azure Jade Stone Avenue, lined with bizarre jade-carved beasts on both sides of the road, starting from the three-step platform. The towering wall receded a foot away from there.
He was furious: "You try jumping around without touching anything!"
The Heavenly Torch whispered, "It's not difficult at all; I can do it... but there's no way around it. I've checked thoroughly, and that's a junction of two Restrictions with an opening that can be utilized; it has to be done this way."
"What about Yue Que? It's familiar with this place; does it also have to be recalled?"
"Yes! Magical artifacts will trigger Restrictions, and besides, that clumsy fellow is unpredictable. If it triggers the Restrictions, you'll be in big trouble along with me! Enough said; we must do it this way to collect that herb."
Li Hong gritted his teeth and recalled Yue Que, tucking the corners of his Fire Rat Robe into his belt. He prepared himself thoroughly and clenched his jaw before suddenly leaping up. Just as he cleared the height of the stone carvings, he exerted force from his waist and twisted sharply to the right, landing three feet from the wall.
Fortunately, there was a charred crack there; Li Hong gripped it tightly with both hands. He silently took a breath: "What should I do next?"
"I'll continue probing!"
"Alright, now fly to the center of the second herb patch on the left. This should be simple, right?" The Heavenly Torch cackled again.
Finally, it wasn't too difficult; just a bit far.
Li Hong managed to do it.
Following the instructions of the Heavenly Torch, Li Hong gradually approached the Longan Flower...
It was within reach; indeed feasible! The Heavenly Torch cackled even more proudly. "Now for the final step: just jump next to the Longan Flower and collect it!"
Li Hong swiftly pulled out that precious celestial herb and snapped shut the lid of the White Jade Box before stowing it in his Cosmic Bag. He patted his chest and smiled: "Mission accomplished; let's head out."
Finally, it was done. It took immense effort to obtain this celestial herb. Li Hong had an urge to leave this Ancient Celestial Field; he no longer wanted to stay.
"You have such little ambition? I sense there are many treasures inside! Why not use this method to continue exploring? Go, Li Hong, this is your only chance. If you miss it, you won't have another opportunity to come back," Heavenly Torch urged, feeling restless.
Li Hong was tempted. The Celestial Mansion Map! If he missed this chance, he wouldn't have another opportunity to enter, especially since Yue Que seemed to have a deep connection with this place. And there was that incomplete Ancient Marvelous Skills. Everything indicated that it was related to this location.
He gritted his teeth and said, "Let's continue gambling!"
"Great, we'll stick to the old method. If it doesn't work out, we can always retreat," Heavenly Torch said enthusiastically.
This old dragon was excited at the thought of treasures.
The two took a detour, step by step searching for the connecting gaps between two adjacent Restrictions. Eventually, Li Hong found himself back at the entrance of the Main Hall.
Heavenly Torch chattered, "Stay still! Don't touch those Stone Beasts! Those are the most formidable Restrictions; if you trigger one, we're both finished!"
Without needing Heavenly Torch's reminder, Li Hong could feel that the Stone Beasts were quite Strange. Each Stone Beast seemed to have a similar Awareness flowing within it, yet it felt somewhat different from his own Awareness. He couldn't pinpoint what exactly was different. He stood quietly on the Main Hall's porch and slowly turned around, focusing his gaze on the grand doors before him.
They were too tall and magnificent. From a distance, they were indistinct, but up close, he realized that these doors were made from solid premium Jadeite, seamlessly closed together with not even a needle able to fit through the crack. Such premium Jadeite was rare in Middle-Earth. The doors radiated a clear light and had formidable Restrictions.
Sure enough, after fiddling for a while, Heavenly Torch said in frustration, "No good; these Restrictions are flawless! There's nothing I can do!"
"Then let's go around back and take a look."
"That's a plan."
So Li Hong slowly made his way around from the left side of the flower garden pavilion, carefully navigating through the Restrictions to reach the back of the palace complex. He lost track of time—here the sky and earth remained unchanged and perpetually dark—but he felt at least five or six hours had passed since entering.
Finally reaching the back, he found it was different from the front; behind the palace complex was a large garden.
It appeared to have been abandoned for a long time. The small bridge remained intact, but the water had long since dried up. Countless pavilions and towers were arranged sparsely yet harmoniously. Looking at each intricately carved Jadeite pavilion before him, Li Hong felt a Strange sensation—this entire palace, its walls, gardens, and even the pavilions inside seemed like finely crafted toys that had been sculpted long ago and then enlarged for display here.
"Well, you might be onto something. This could very well be the work of an Ancient God; with their Great Deity powers, they could indeed accomplish this," Heavenly Torch agreed with Li Hong's idea. He then shifted his tone: "Have you noticed that there’s no back door to that palace?"
Li Hong glanced sideways at the palace behind him, and indeed it was a solid structure with no back door. A palace without windows, only a main entrance—what did that signify?
"Needless to say, the treasures must be inside!" Heavenly Torch said, drooling.
"Too bad we can't get in; let's just head back."
At that moment, Li Hong felt a stir in his heart as he looked toward the center of the garden, where a familiar aura wafted through the air.
It was a small cottage, perfectly situated in the center of the garden. "I want to check that out," Li Hong said.
Under Heavenly Torch's guidance and using various incredible techniques, Li Hong finally arrived at the front of the cottage.
It was a very simple Jade Cottage, single-story with just one room. There were two windows on either side of the door, quite ordinary compared to the other intricately designed buildings around. This little house was plain and unadorned.
However, the feeling of familiarity grew stronger; for some reason, he felt an overwhelming urge to enter. This thought became quite urgent.
"Is there any way in?" Li Hong pondered.
"There is! Just break in! The consequences are on you!" Heavenly Torch replied irritably.
"Then I will indeed break in!"
As he spoke, a flash of golden light appeared as Yue Que emerged from his forehead. With Li Hong's Awareness fully engaged, he pointed with his right hand. Yue Que suddenly struck the small door.
A tremendous roar erupted as dark clouds gathered ominously above. The entire sky began to spin rapidly around the palace, with a low, terrifying cloud resembling a black dragon hanging over the tower. The ground trembled, and gravel soared into the air. The air was filled with a violent, scorched scent, and darkness enveloped everything.
Outside the black mist, Chu Xi and the others only heard an earth-shattering boom from within. The black mist suddenly expanded rapidly outward.
The three shouted in unison.
Chuxiong reacted swiftly and instantly summoned the Mysterious Bell, flipping it over to shield all three inside. The wind howled beside them as the Mysterious Bell shook violently. Chuxiong shouted loudly while gripping the bell tightly with both hands. Chu Xihui quickly joined in to hold onto the Mysterious Bell as well. Together they managed to avoid being swept away by the fierce winds. The ground beneath them shook violently as if what was once solid ground had transformed into towering waves.
The entire Ancient Celestial Field shook violently. The seven Basin spaces rapidly shifted and overlapped, stars and sunlight vanished as dark clouds swept across the land, causing day and night to alternate at an alarming pace. Everyone present was stunned by this scene as thunderous footsteps and loud beast roars echoed simultaneously throughout the seven spaces.
With a thunderous roar, a tremendous force surged toward Li Hong, who braced himself against it. A loud crash echoed from his Upper Dantian, as if someone had struck him hard on the forehead. Blood gushed from his mouth, splattering the small door with dark red stains.
The Fake Dan began to spin rapidly, a massive amount of Awareness pouring out to swiftly heal Li Hong's injured meridians and flesh. Li Hong stood resolute, pulling out a Supreme Celestial Stone from his Cosmic Bag and gripping it tightly, shouting, "Come again!"
The Moonlight of the Waning Moon erupted with another deafening sound. The immense force struck once more, but Li Hong stepped forward defiantly, spitting out another mouthful of blood. It felt as if fire was burning in his chest; he knew he had at least broken seventeen or eighteen ribs.
"You can't just recklessly charge in like this! It's over for me; I'm going back!" The Heavenly Torch inside the Fire Separation Pearl cried out in panic.
"Be quiet!" Li Hong transmitted coldly. He took another step forward, now only three feet away from the small door.
The Moonlight of the Waning Moon shone brilliantly and remained unscathed, swirling right in front of the door. Just as Li Hong prepared to swing his Yue Que for a third time, he suddenly heard the Heavenly Torch shout, "Kid, look! Stop! Quickly stop!"

In the Sixth Group Basin, Yun Jiuzi was tailing that shadow.
It had been a month; this shadow moved leisurely, stopping and starting intermittently. However, every now and then, Yun Jiuzi would lose track of its aura for a moment. He was secretly alarmed; this Old Demon had an impressive cultivation level that surpassed his own! He pondered that someone like this should have already faced Tribulation to ascend to the Immortal Realm for their cultivation, yet there were no signs of such Tribulation approaching. What could this person be doing in the Ancient Celestial Field?
Distracted by his thoughts, the distant shadow suddenly vanished. Yun Jiuzi cursed under his breath and activated the Autumn Departure Technique, preparing himself.
An indistinct aura suddenly surged from the right side. Yun Jiuzi was ready; he raised his hand and shot out a burst of flames that struck directly at the aura.
Boom—an invisible wave of energy erupted instantly. Trees and creatures within a ten-mile radius were reduced to nothing but dust.
In the center of the ruins, Yun Jiuzi remained unharmed and did not strike again. He said calmly, "Come out; you haven't used your full strength."
"Aren't you also holding back? Good! So you are indeed the top expert of Nine Li Sect! I've heard of you but never seen you until now; I've gotten a good look over this past month. Truly grateful for your attention!" The figure chuckled as it revealed itself, though its features remained obscured by a layer of black mist—perhaps it was entirely composed of black mist—its true appearance hidden in chaos.
Yun Jiuzi felt a storm brewing within him; this person actually knew who he was! His existence was a secret within the Immortal Sect known only to high-ranking members of Nine Li Sect. How could this Demon Sect Old Demon know about him? Despite his shock, Yun Jiuzi maintained a calm smile and said, "You're too kind; perhaps you are actually the top expert of Demon Sect?"
"Are you trying to test me? Hehe, I don't mind telling you. With my cultivation level, I can't really be considered a top expert; don't flatter me. However, I can barely make it into the top ten." The figure spoke casually, surprisingly revealing some details.
Yun Jiuzi was even more astonished; such cultivation barely made it into the top ten? How many experts had Demon Sect nurtured over three thousand years? He replied coldly, "Since you're willing to show yourself, let's settle this today. What do you say? Where shall we fight? Here or outside?"
"What are you doing—" This person hardly resembled the Old Demon. Although his face was unclear, he maintained a good-natured chuckle, "If the two of us really got into a fight, this place would be destroyed. I wouldn't want that, and I bet you wouldn't either, right?"
Yun Jiuzi sneered, "What’s there to hold back if I can get rid of you!"
"The question is, can you really get rid of me? Hehe, enough with the fighting. Tell me, what’s your relationship with that kid who has the Strange Golden Light? Is he also one of your Nine Li Sect?" The demon's tone was surprisingly curious.
Yun Jiuzi's heart sank; this was bad! Li Hong had still been exposed to him. Just as he was about to continue probing for information, his expression suddenly changed drastically.
The Old Demon also exclaimed, "Huh?"
The sky darkened as ominous clouds rushed in, obscuring visibility in an instant. The ground trembled heavily as a significant surge of energy rampaged throughout the Ancient Celestial Field.
"Someone is actually shaking the Center Restriction! They’ve actually found it! Haha! Incredible!" The Old Demon laughed heartily, no longer paying attention to Yun Jiuzi, and swiftly darted off in a certain direction.
Yun Jiuzi snorted coldly and quickly pursued him.
The two shared the same target.
