The survival trial in the Abyss of Ten Thousand Demons is gradually coming to an end. Although the Heavenly Mechanism Sect has dispatched a large number of disciples to provide protection and rescue opportunities, a few disciples have still tragically fallen victim to magical beasts, leaving no trace behind. Most of these disciples were ostracized by their teams for various reasons and had to walk alone in the Abyss of Ten Thousand Demons.
Due to the limited number of Rescue Disciples, it is impossible to attend to everyone. Even when faced with insurmountable dangers, they managed to escape with their lives, but in losing their last chance for rescue, they also forfeited the possibility of becoming Outer Sect Disciples of the Heavenly Mechanism Sect.
Time flew by, and less than thirty percent of the original Trial Disciples remained in the Abyss of Ten Thousand Demons. Most teams had suffered losses, with some Trial Teams losing more than half their members, while others faced complete annihilation. Although they managed to survive with the help of Rescue Disciples, the entire team had to leave in sorrow.
Even the strongest group, composed entirely of late-stage Origin Martial Realm disciples known as the Demon Hunting Squad, lost nearly a third of its members.
Only Ye Feng's Demon Squad had not experienced any losses since the trial began, which shocked the higher-ups of the Heavenly Mechanism Sect upon learning this news.
This was surprising because Ye Feng's Demon Squad ranked at the bottom among all Trial Teams in terms of strength.
Many Trial Disciples speculated that perhaps Zhou Jun, who had displayed exceptional talent during the Talent Assessment, received special treatment from the Heavenly Mechanism Sect.

"Don't pay attention to those fools; it's common knowledge that magical beasts in the Abyss of Ten Thousand Demons never stay fixed in one location!" shouted an elder responsible for overseeing this trial assessment angrily at his subordinates.
Lu Yu, as the Rescue Disciple responsible for Ye Feng's Demon Squad, was very familiar with Ye Feng's role within this team. Almost every route taken was planned independently by Ye Feng, which frustrated him greatly since he had hardly had any opportunity to provide rescue since joining Demon Squad.
Now, with only one week left until the survival trial concludes, all Trial Disciples breathed a sigh of relief because after these three days, they would become envied disciples of the Heavenly Mechanism Sect.
The leaders of the Trial Teams, however, did not think so. They were well aware that often in the final stages of the assessment, the number of eliminations would increase day by day, as the various Trial Teams would begin to attack each other for points and materials.
Ye Feng's Demon Squad quickly became a target for many Trial Teams. Although they did not believe that the Demon Squad could gather enough points and materials, after all, their luck was too good, with only a handful of encounters with exotic beasts during an entire assessment.
They came solely because of Ye Feng and the Demon Squad's reputation. As the only team in the survival assessment that had not lost any members, many participants expressed their dissatisfaction and claimed that their good fortune had run out.

Due to previous trials, most of the attacking Trial Teams had suffered heavy losses and thus had weakened significantly. Faced with the well-coordinated Demon Squad, they quickly fell behind and lost their chances of passing the assessment.
Soon, higher-level teams came knocking. These Trial Teams had suffered fewer losses during the trials due to their stronger abilities, making it difficult for the Demon Squad to win relying solely on teamwork.
In response to these teams' attacks, Ye Feng drew his Spirit Wind Sword from his waist once again, showcasing his extraordinary swordsmanship. With a power that could take on ten opponents at once, he joined forces with the members of the Demon Squad to easily defeat the challenging teams.
A large number of disciples lost their last chance for rescue. Some teams pleaded for mercy as Ye Feng was about to launch his final attack, offering up their hard-earned points and materials just to escape failure in the assessment.
In no time, Ye Feng and his Demon Squad gained a formidable reputation. The number of teams daring to challenge them sharply decreased until eventually no Trial Team dared to confront Ye Feng's Demon Squad.
The top-ranking Trial Teams remained inactive, including the Demon Hunting Squad that had early grievances with Ye Feng. As the end of the assessment approached, fierce battles among various squads in the Trial Ground gradually subsided, leaving only about twenty percent of this batch of Trial Disciples who entered the Abyss of Ten Thousand Demons.
"Captain, this place is indeed a reusable Permanent Base!" On the southern side of the Trial Ground, in a hilly forest area, Leihong excitedly pointed at three Stone Houses standing abruptly among the trees and a section of stone walls.
Compared to Temporary Bases, Permanent Bases had significantly better defensive facilities. Whether it was the materials used for building houses or the Defensive Spirit Patterns engraved on the Stone Wall, they were clearly different from ordinary Temporary Bases.
"This outpost has been visited; the food supplies inside are running low, and the elixirs have long been taken," Wang Qin said with a slightly worried expression after searching the entire outpost.

"There are many places I didn't take you to explore because they were too dangerous. I suspect those places might contain the Heavenly Demon Flower," Ye Feng replied with a faint smile.
Leihong was momentarily stunned; almost everyone believed they had simply been lucky to avoid one dangerous area after another. Only he and Wang Qin knew that each re-planned route was solely decided by Ye Feng.
