"General! The Zhao Army is coming!" Li Xin said, releasing the last two arrows from his sturdy bow before forcefully breaking the finely crafted ancestral weapon. With the crisp sound of the break, his once unwavering heart plunged into despair. 0

Knowing there were no more crossbow bolts left, Wang Jian realized he could not delay any longer. He pulled out a small pouch containing the Military Map of the Qin State and tossed it into the fire. Gently wiping his Crossbow, which had always been by his side, felt like a farewell between brothers facing death. Taking a deep breath, he summoned all his strength to smash the crossbow into pieces. He loudly ordered the brothers in the position to break their Crossbows and drew out his Bronze Longsword. "Destroy your weapons! Prepare for battle!" 0

The advancing Zhao Army ceased firing arrows and slung their Crossbows behind them. The Officer drew his Sword, and Soldiers raised their Short Spears as they slowly approached the nearby Qin Army position. 0

The crunching sound of footsteps on the snow was clear. Luzi gently patted Xiao Yu'er's shoulder. He then smashed his Crossbow to pieces and drew the long sword hanging at his waist. Looking down at the frost-covered blade, it appeared as clear and transparent as a pool of water. 0

The previously noisy surroundings suddenly fell silent at that moment. As footsteps approached from outside the position, Lu Zichao's brothers nodded in farewell. Then they leaped up, raising their long swords and shouting, "For the Qin State! For King Qin! Charge!" 0

Li Xin followed suit, leaping out of the position and throwing a Spear at the encroaching Zhao Army. As it hit its target, he drew his Sword and jumped into the crowd to slash. 0

The encircled group collapsed in an instant, and by the time they realized only a dozen Soldiers had charged out, over twenty had already been cut down. As the scattered crowd began to regroup, their numerical advantage quickly became apparent. 0

When the situation was controlled by the Zhao Army, only nine Qin Soldiers remained within the newly formed encirclement. Zhao Shicheng searched for Wu Qi everywhere and finally found General Wu with a spear piercing through his chest. A quick glance revealed it was a fatal wound; he crouched down and patted Wu Qi's shoulder. "Don't worry, you're fine! Once we take care of these few, we'll head down the mountain to find a Surgeon." 0

As a general accustomed to battle, he knew well how serious injuries could be. The barely breathing Wu Qi smiled weakly at Zhao Shicheng and shook his head. "Get revenge... revenge..." Before he could finish, his head tilted as he gasped for breath and passed away. 0

Zhao Shicheng nodded heavily, gently closing Wu Qi's unseeing eyes. He stood up, grasped the spear embedded in the fallen general's chest, and after some effort pulled it out with a sudden jerk. Shaking off the blood on it, he turned around to face the encircled Qin Soldier with fury in his eyes and demanded, "Who dares to tell me this is his weapon?!" 0

Li Xin spat on the ground and wiped away the blood splattered on his face. "What the hell does it matter right now!? Who has time for that!" 0

Wang Jian squinted at the questioner across from him before glancing at Luzi beside him. 0

Luzi looked around at the sharp spears and nodded to Wang Jian. "Follow your heart, and begin!" 0

With the answer in mind, Wang Jian took a deep breath. "Yah! Kill!" 0

As the compressed group of people pushed outward, the wall formed by the Zhao Army was once again broken apart. The disorganized individuals, now filled with rage, roared as they exerted all their strength to slay their enemies. 0

Luzi severed a Short Spear that came at him and raised his sword to pierce through a Zhao Soldier across from him. Before he could withdraw his sword, he suddenly spotted discarded warhorses left behind by this group of Zhao Army in the Shanxia forest. He couldn't help but feel fortunate; the Zhao cavalry had made a fatal mistake! If this had been on flat ground or without snow, this cavalry unit of two hundred could have easily dealt with their small number in one charge! 0

Wang Jian and Li Xin had reached a consensus: they must protect the general at all costs. However, the slaughter on the battlefield was not something one could control at will; after being scattered by the Zhao Army, there was no chance to regroup. 0

Holding a Spear, Zhao Shicheng was determined to avenge Wu Qi, so he did not join the fight but instead stood aside watching. When he read a crucial detail from the eyes of several Qin Soldiers, he immediately fixed his target on one person. Seeing this individual pierce through an overzealous Zhao Soldier with a sword, he knew the opportunity had come. With a powerful thrust of his left arm, he hurled the Spear. 0

Sharp-eyed Li Xin suddenly noticed the shoulder of a Centurion from the Zhao Army twitching and realized something was wrong. Following his gaze, he saw Luzi with his back turned to this Centurion, preparing to draw his sword from a corpse. Acting on instinct, he threw his long sword and shouted, "Watch out, Luzi!" 0

Even the fastest voice requires time to react; unaware, Luzi turned towards Li Xin. The Spear did not abandon its target due to anyone's warning; it traced a perfect parabolic arc in the air, heading straight for its mark. 0

With a loud "thud," Li Xin's thrown long sword accurately struck the tail end of the Spear. The spear trembled slightly in mid-air and changed its trajectory from straight to horizontal due to the impact. The sharp tip grazed past Luzi's left side while the shaft struck its target behind him without falling. 0

Luzi turned around and caught the falling Spear, spinning around fiercely as he concentrated all his strength into his left arm. With a powerful thrust, he sent the weapon flying straight out, instantly piercing through the chest of a Zhao Soldier who had attempted to ambush Li Xin. The body was propelled forward by the immense force, crashing directly into Li Xin, with most of the spearhead gleaming with a bright Cold Light exposed from its chest. 0

Had that earlier ambush succeeded against Li Xin, who was distracted by focusing solely on Luzi, he would have been killed on the spot by that Zhao Soldier. Now coming back to his senses and suddenly seeing someone lunging at him, he had enough time to make an accurate defense. With a slight misstep, he braced himself against the body behind him to block two incoming Short Spears. Reaching for his left side, he grabbed hold of the spearhead and yanked it out forcefully before turning again to strike down a nearby Zhao Soldier, using the fallen body as cover against incoming attacks, then swiftly stabbing another unsuspecting Zhao Soldier. 0

Completing several kills took only an instant; feeling justifiably proud, Li Xin was about to utter some grand words when he suddenly sensed something unusual in front of him. Lowering his head to check, he discovered that the very same Zhao Soldier he had just killed had managed to deliver one last strike. A sharp Short Spear was embedded in his abdomen and still quivering. 0

Damn it! How could I, Li Xin, a hero for a lifetime, end up capsizing in a gutter! 0

Reaching out to grab the pole, Li Xin felt all his strength drain away as he struggled to lift his head. In the blurry world around him, he saw people still fighting. When he noticed several figures rushing towards him, his eyelids felt too heavy to lift. Brothers! I can't hold on! Quickly, protect the general! Hurry! Protect the general... 0

Surgeon! Surgeon... Little... Yuer... That's right! She can bring people back to life! As that thought grasped onto a lifeline, his consciousness became clearer. Li Xin instinctively reached out to grab a spear that was thrusting towards him, but before he could prepare to counterattack, he fell backward. 0
