After leaving Murong Wei's Hillside Mansion, it seemed there was still some time before ten o'clock. Mo Ming was not in a hurry to go to the airport; instead, he drove to Fu Meng's house.
Upon arriving, Fuxi had just returned from a sweaty morning run, dressed in tight-fitting sportswear of a dazzling green color that sparkled from a distance, making it very eye-catching. With Fuxi's figure, anything he wore looked stunning.
"Mo Ming, you're here! Just in time, I just got back from my run. Have you confirmed the time for going to the Golden Triangle?"
Mo Ming nodded and said, "Yes, it's the flight at ten o'clock this morning. I came here to ask if you could help me with my disguise."
"Don't worry, I knew you would come to me for this. I prepared everything last night. Just wait for me to take a shower and change clothes; I promise I'll make you look so different that even your mother won't recognize you!" Fuxi said with a smile as he walked inside.
Mo Ming followed him in, where Lin Yuan'er was sitting down having breakfast, seemingly preparing to go to Starry Rhythm Advertising Company for work. Upon seeing Mo Ming, she smiled and said, "Brother Mo, why are you here so early?"
"Uh, I need Fuxi's help with something. Just wanted to say goodbye," Mo Ming replied with a smile as he walked over. "As I mentioned before, I'm going to the Golden Triangle. I've already prepared everything; today is the day."
"Ah?" Lin Yuan'er looked surprised and then her expression shifted to one of concern. "Brother Mo, can't you not go? I feel like it's too dangerous. I don't want anything to happen to you. Last time was okay since Yuan'er wasn't hurt."
Although Lin Yuan'er didn't know much about Tate in the Golden Triangle, she understood that he was as dangerous as Sito Hai. Therefore, she didn't want Mo Ming to take any risks.
"I know what I'm doing and will pay attention to safety; you don't need to worry about me," Mo Ming shook his head and said. "It's good that you weren't hurt last time; otherwise, I would feel guilty for life. To prevent such things from happening again, I need to deal with the potential dangers."
"But Brother Mo, Yuan'er is really worried about your safety," Lin Yuan'er said with a worried look on her face, her brows slightly furrowed and her lips pressed together. It was clear that she truly did not want Mo Ming to go to such a dangerous place.
"I told you not to worry about me; I'm like a superhero who can do anything," Mo Ming teased as he gently pinched Lin Yuan'er's nose and smiled slightly. "Don't make that face; I promise I'll come back safely."
Hearing Mo Ming's words made Lin Yuan'er unable to help but laugh lightly. "Brother Mo, how old are you now? Why do you still like pretending to be a superhero like when we were kids?"
Mentioning their childhood made Mo Ming feel a bit embarrassed; he had admired those superheroes so much back then. Every time he finished watching superhero cartoons, he would pretend to be one and play with Lin Yuan'er and some friends.
"Uh, let's not talk about the past!" Mo Ming said with a wry smile. "Yuan'er, while I'm away, please take care of things at the company. Ren Long will help you; don't overwork yourself. If I come back and see that you've become worn out, it will break my heart."
"Okay, I will. But Brother Mo, wherever you are, please stay safe," Lin Yuan'er said as she hugged Mo Ming's waist while resting her head against him, seemingly finding warmth in his presence.
"Yes, I will."
After a while of the two of them quietly staying like this, a deliberate cough interrupted them.
"Ahem... I say, you two should stop being so close. Mo Ming, come to my room for a moment; I'm going to help you with your makeover!" The person coughing was Fuxi, who had just finished showering and changed clothes. After speaking, she turned and went back to her room.
"Alright, Yuan, I have some things to take care of," Mo Ming said as he left Lin Yuan'er and followed Fuxi upstairs. Lin Yuan'er did not follow or ask any questions and continued eating her breakfast.
...
Not long after, Fuxi came down the stairs, followed by a man dressed in a black suit, sporting a Gambling God hairstyle, with a slightly pointed chin that gave him a somewhat Korean vibe. He looked quite handsome.
There was no need to ask; this suddenly appearing man was Mo Ming. It had to be said that Fuxi's makeover skills were impressive; it was as if she had transformed him into a completely different person, reminiscent of the famous "disguise technique" in martial arts stories.
"Wow, when did such a handsome guy come to our house?" At some point, Fu Qingyun had come downstairs. Seeing Mo Ming's new appearance while she was in a cold war with Lin Yuan'er, she approached him like a lovesick girl and grabbed his hand.
Even though he looked different, Lin Yuan'er could tell that this man was Mo Ming. She frowned and said, "Hey girl, let go of your little hand!"
"Why? Is having a Cousin-in-law not enough? Now that I see such a handsome guy, do you want to compete with me?" Fu Qingyun turned around and made a face at Lin Yuan'er, completely ignoring her expression. She then turned to Mo Ming and said, "Handsome guy, my cousin is already married, but I'm not. If you don't mind, we can date for a while."
Fuxi covered her mouth and chuckled; Fu Qingyun's reaction proved the effectiveness of her disguise skills, which made her feel somewhat pleased.
"Hey girl, let go of your hand!" Mo Ming said with an annoyed expression but still spoke in a serious tone: "I am your Cousin-in-law. Come on, let go quickly; otherwise, your cousin will eat you up."
"What?" Fu Qingyun looked as if struck by lightning. Covering her mouth, she glanced at the somewhat angry Lin Yuan'er and then at the visibly annoyed handsome guy. After a moment of silence, she finally released his hand and exclaimed, "Ah! Cousin, you're cheating! I'm going to tell Cousin-in-law and have him divorce you!"
"Little girl, he is your Cousin-in-law Mo Ming," Fuxi said as she pulled Fu Qingyun closer.
Fu Qingyun was still in shock from Fuxi's words. Pointing at Mo Ming in confusion, she said, "Sister Fuxi, are you joking? This person doesn't look like Cousin-in-law at all!"
"I'm not joking; this is all thanks to my disguise skills. Can't you recognize him?" Fuxi said with a smile. "If you recognized him right away, I would feel quite defeated."
"Ah... are you really Cousin-in-law?"
Mo Ming nodded and said, "Absolutely, alright, I won't say much more. Yuan'er, Fuxi, you two take me to the airport. It's almost ten o'clock; we can't miss the flight."
As he spoke, Mo Ming quickly pulled the somewhat angry Lin Yuan'er away. Otherwise, there might have been a debate before he left. Fuxi gave a few instructions to Fu Qingyun and then followed them out.
...
At ten o'clock, after bidding farewell to Lin Yuan'er, Mo Ming boarded the flight to Thailand. He found his seat and sat down, casually picking up a newspaper to read aimlessly. The recent news was rather mundane, mostly focused on gossip about celebrities.
Mo Ming couldn't muster any interest in the gossip. After failing to find any suitable news, he decided to stop reading, put down the newspaper, crossed his legs, and rested his hands behind his head while closing his eyes.
He maintained this position for a while until he sensed someone had taken the seat next to him. Without looking, Mo Ming could tell that he didn't care who it was; he just kept his eyes closed and let his mind wander.
Suddenly, the person next to him seemed to be on a phone call, speaking in hushed tones in Thai: "I'm sorry, our mission failed. We couldn't kill the target. I've been hiding for a long time just to escape, but we..."
Soon after, footsteps approached, followed by a polite female voice in Thai saying, "Excuse me, sir, the plane is about to take off. For your safety and that of others, please turn off your phone. Thank you for your cooperation."
"Get lost! Don't disturb me!" the passenger exploded angrily, loud enough for everyone to hear. He then spoke quietly into his phone again: "There's a problem here; I'll talk later."
Hearing this, Mo Ming opened his eyes and glanced sideways at the person next to him. Judging by his Thai accent, he was a Thai person in his thirties with dark skin and a prominent nose that made him particularly noticeable and unpleasant.
After hanging up the phone, the Thai person stubbornly grabbed the flight attendant's hand and shouted angrily: "Who is in charge? Get them out here now; I want to complain about your rudeness."
Was this really about lodging a complaint?
It was clear he was taking advantage of the attractive flight attendant's appearance and her vulnerability. With that lewd expression on his face and nostrils flaring like an old bull gasping for air.
If it weren't for the fact that this person seemed to be associated with the one who attacked Mo Ming and Lin Yuan'er at the cinema last time, Mo Ming would have been unable to resist giving him a few punches on that nose. To avoid alarming anyone else, he decided to hold back.
"I'm sorry sir, please let go. If you're dissatisfied with something, I can get the captain for you," the flight attendant said nervously as she struggled to free herself from his grip. Unfortunately, he was too strong for her.
The other passengers watched this scene with cold indifference; no one wanted to step in and cause trouble. After all, he was a Thai person, and they were about to arrive in Thailand. Offending a local tyrant there could lead to serious problems.
"Hey, I'm not satisfied with you at all..."
Before the Thai Person could finish speaking, another Flight Attendant rushed over, pushing the Thai Person aside and pulling up the Flight Attendant who had been teased. The latter was none other than Jun Qianqian!
"Sir, your behavior is unacceptable. We cannot allow such things to happen here. Please behave yourself, or we will have no choice but to ask you to leave."
"Hmph, who do you think you are to speak to me like that!" The Thai Person felt a surge of anger and raised his hand to teach Jun Qianqian a lesson when Mo Ming tightly grasped his hand.
"Who wants to die, daring to grab me?" The Thai Person was even more furious, turning to look at Mo Ming while trying to break free from his grip, but he couldn't escape at all.
"Heh, no need to ask; of course, it's me, your grandfather. It's unchivalrous for a grandson to hit a woman casually. I don't want to see such things happen again!" Mo Ming mocked in Thai, tightening his grip even more.
"It hurts... You little brat are really tired of living, daring to meddle!"
Knowing he was no match for Mo Ming's strength, the Thai Person attempted to strike back. However, just as he was about to make a move, Mo Ming landed a punch on his nose, causing him to finally release his grip and sit down heavily in a chair.
"Ah!"
This sudden action left the two beautiful Flight Attendants pale with fear. Jun Qianqian quickly said, "Please don't fight; the plane is about to take off. Let's behave civilly while on board."
