After hanging up the phone, He Yunsong immediately stepped forward and asked, "Boss, do you have news about that group of scoundrels?"
"Yes, I've found them. Let's head to Panlong Road now," Mo Ming nodded and then glanced at Lin Yuan'er, saying, "Yuan, no matter who it is that dares to harm you, I will not let them go."
With that, Mo Ming led He Yunsong towards Panlong Road, with He Yunsong driving the car.
In the middle of Panlong Road, this area was the highest point of the entire road.
On the side of the road, Mo Ming and He Yunsong were waiting for Liufeng's arrival. He Yunsong felt a bit excited; he was about to meet the legendary assassin known as Hunter. He was curious about what the person looked like.
Mo Ming, however, seemed unfazed. Leaning against the railing by the road, he smoked a cigarette while looking down at the pitch-black valley below. Suddenly, headlights lit up at the foot of the mountain, speeding quickly towards them.
"He’s here."
After a while, Hunter Liufeng arrived in a fast car, which happened to be Mo Ming's sports car.
After sending Lin Yuan'er into the emergency room, Mo Ming immediately called Liufeng and asked him to come to Nanhua City as soon as possible. He also informed him of the location of the sports car; with his skills, Liufeng could easily unlock it without a key.
The sports car slowly came to a stop, and Liufeng got out. He had a cool and stylish appearance, dressed in black punk attire. He looked somewhat handsome but also fierce. However, the smile on his face made him seem much friendlier.
"Boss!" Liufeng called out.
Mo Ming flicked away his cigarette butt and walked over with He Yunsong. With a slight smile, he introduced He Yunsong: "Ah Yun, this is 'Hunter' Liufeng."
"One of the combatants of Little Green Society, He Yunsong is skilled in Shaolin Kung Fu. He's intelligent, calm, and most importantly, very loyal," Liufeng said with a hint of a smile as he extended his hand to shake hands with He Yunsong. "I'm Liufeng; it's nice to meet you."
He Yunsong showed a moment of surprise but quickly recalled Liufeng's reputation and was no longer shocked. A smile crept onto his face as he said, "You truly are remarkable; you have everything investigated thoroughly. Liufeng, I admire you!"
"How do you know so much?" Mo Ming asked with a puzzled expression. He had no idea that He Yunsong practiced Shaolin Kung Fu; he was surprised that Liufeng could find out so easily.
"It's not hard to investigate. On my way here, I gathered some information about Nanhua City and Little Green Society," Liufeng smiled and said. "Boss, city life doesn't suit you. Look at you; because you've been accustomed to these places of pleasure, your information-gathering skills have declined."
"Alright, Liufeng, it seems you're about to take my place," Mo Ming said with a wry smile and shook his head.
Liu Feng was naturally arrogant, but in front of Mo Ming, he showed no trace of arrogance. Instead, he shook his head and said, "Boss, don't joke around. Everyone knows how terrifying you are. It might take a lifetime to replace you."
"You should have a bit more confidence in yourself." Mo Ming laughed a few times, then his gaze turned sharp as he coldly asked, "By the way, where are the remaining survivors? Don't tell me you couldn't help but take him out."
"I really did feel like taking him out, but thinking about how you need a survivor, I had to hold back." Liu Feng said as he walked to the back of the sports car, lightly tapping on the metal panel and smiling, "I tossed him back here; as for whether he's alive or dead, I can't guarantee that."
Liu Feng opened the trunk and pulled out a person as if he were a small dog, tossing him in front of Mo Ming.
The person was covered in wounds and clearly injured; his arms appeared deformed, and he was barely conscious, seeming like he could die at any moment. Mo Ming kicked his head to make him open his eyes.
Then, Mo Ming crouched down, revealing a sinister smile at the corner of his mouth.
"You should recognize me; I won't introduce myself. Hehe, if you want to live, it's best to answer my questions honestly. If you dare to hide anything from me, I'm sorry; your only outcome will be death."
"I... I'll say anything." The person weakly replied in Thai.
"Good. Tell me who sent you to kill me?" Mo Ming's voice was cold.
"I can't tell you... or I'll die too..."
"Tell me everything, or I guarantee that living will be worse than dying." Mo Ming's voice grew even colder, as if freezing the very air around them. The assassin trembled involuntarily at the chilling tone.
The voice sounded like the call of death itself, frightening him into a daze filled with terror as he stammered, "I... I'm sent by General Tait. He ordered me to kill you. If we take you out, we can get a huge fortune..."
"Hehe, do you think that even if you get that fortune, you'll have your life to spend it?" Mo Ming sneered. "You know what happens to those who attempt to assassinate me; there's only one ending..."
The man shivered uncontrollably and instinctively asked, "What?"
"That is death!"
Mo Ming's lips curled into a sinister smile, resembling a demon crawling out from the depths of hell. The anger on the face of the handsome young man was terrifying beyond measure.
"I know I was wrong, please let me go..."
Liufeng suddenly kicked him hard in the abdomen. The impact made the assassin feel as if his organs had been shattered. Pain coursed through him, turning his face pale as he rolled on the ground, clutching his stomach and screaming.
"When you came to assassinate me, why didn't you realize your mistake?" Liufeng's eyes flashed with disgust. Just as he raised his foot to kick the assassin again, Mo Ming stopped him.
"Liufeng, don't be hasty," Mo Ming said to the assassin. "Tell me how many of your people are still in Nanhua City. Be honest, and you might have a chance to live. If you try to play tricks, believe me, living will be worse than dying."
"Our initial team is almost wiped out, and the follow-up troops will slowly make their way here..." The assassin glanced at Mo Ming's furious expression and became even more frightened. He hurriedly added, "General Tate has ordered that if you are not killed, he will never rest!"
"Ha! What a bold claim! He won't rest until I'm dead? He certainly has some imagination!" Mo Ming laughed maniacally, a hint of madness in his tone. "That old fool Tate has a perfectly good Golden Triangle but chooses to come provoke me. Does he really think he can control everything?"
Mo Ming's eyes narrowed into a dangerous arc as he said to Liufeng, "Have the brothers stir up trouble in Tate's territory in the Golden Triangle. If there's a chance, they can also assassinate him."
"Alright, I'll inform them right away." Liufeng extended his crimson tongue to lick his lips, looking at the surviving assassin with a sinister smile that made the man feel like he was facing a man-eating monster. Liufeng said, "Boss, we've finished asking questions. I think this person has no need to live anymore."
"Do as you wish," Mo Ming replied indifferently.
Liufeng didn't say much more. After receiving Mo Ming's consent, his sinister smile blossomed like a flower from the Underworld. Even He Yunsong, standing nearby, felt a shiver run down his spine.
The assassin looked terrified and shouted frantically, "No! Didn't you just say that if I told you honestly, you would let me go?"
Mo Ming sneered, "I said you might have a chance to live; I never promised to let you go. You harmed my closest person; you don't deserve to live in this world. Even if you die, it won't absolve your sins."
Just as Mo Ming finished speaking, Liufeng threw a punch at lightning speed, striking the assassin's chest with brutal force. A loud crack echoed as bones broke, and the assassin screamed in agony.
The entire silent Panlong Road echoed with his cries.
Liufeng did not stop there; he landed another solid punch on the man's nose and continued to strike repeatedly until the assassin was left bloodied and unrecognizable.
The scene was undeniably gruesome; the man's face had gone from slightly rounded to flat and uneven. The mixture of blood and flesh resembled a chaotic filling for dumplings, making He Yunsong feel nauseous.
"Boss, isn't this a bit too violent?" He Yunsong couldn't help but twitch his lips.
Such bloodshed was nothing new to him, and Mo Ming showed no reaction, lightly smiling as he said, "As long as you get used to it. Ah Yun, knowing me, your life may become more colorful in the future, but of course, it will also be more dangerous. Every step could be a deadly trap; are you afraid?"
"Of course not. What's there to be afraid of?" He Yunsong replied without thinking. "Since I stepped onto this dark path, I know I won't have many tomorrows. Each tomorrow could be my last. I've avenged my grievances; I've seen through life and death. What does it matter? Living or dying, I'd rather live passionately!"
"It's good that you can think this way. The incident with Yuan's injury has made me consider a lot," Mo Ming said as he led He Yunsong to the railing, lit a cigarette, took a few puffs, and after a moment of silence pointed at the dark mountains and said, "I have no fear of darkness, but I fear for those I care about living in it. I don't want them to suffer because of me every day; therefore, I'm preparing to carve out my own territory here."
"Boss, are you saying you plan to establish an organization here?" He Yunsong asked in surprise.
Liu Feng walked over with a smile and said, "You're mistaken; the boss doesn't mean to establish an organization for himself here but rather to plant the flag of 'Yihun' here."
"Hehe, Liu Feng is right. I founded 'Yihun,' which means the soul of Loyalty and Righteousness—loyalty to the country, loyalty to the people, the spirit of bravery," Mo Ming said with a faint smile. "Nowadays, 'Yihun' has left its mark in many places around the world, yet it hasn't planted its flag in our own country. I think it's time to quicken our pace and plant our flag on this land beneath our feet."
"Wait a minute..." He Yunsong was a bit confused. "Why is it that only our country doesn't have it?"
Since 'Yihun' could establish itself in many parts of the world, why hadn't it planted its flag in their own country? This seemed quite strange. Was their national defense so strong that it was impenetrable?
"That's because our greatest enemy has its headquarters right here in our country. To build up strength, I previously refrained from getting involved. However, after today's events, I've clarified many things," Mo Ming's eyes flashed with a hint of killing intent as he said, "The current 'Yihun' is no longer that small infant; it has grown strong enough. I feel I can no longer hide; it's time to confront them face-to-face."
