Mo Ming and Masked Man quietly approached the villa. 0

The two moved like ghosts, stealthily under the cover of night, their footsteps silent and without a trace of sound. Inside the villa, loud noises occasionally erupted, completely unaware of the impending danger drawing closer. 0

From the lightness of his steps, Mo Ming surpassed Masked Man, which explained why the proud Masked Man referred to him as boss. 0

Perhaps the assassins inside the villa thought they were hidden away, believing no one could discover their whereabouts. 0

There were no sentries set up around, allowing Mo Ming and his companion to approach with ease. 0

“Shang Xige, when we act later, we need to be swift and not let them send out any alerts,” Mo Ming said to Masked Man, who was also known as Shang Xige. 0

If anyone had overheard this, they would have been astonished. Countless assassins existed in the world, and the rankings established by powerful individuals had seen Shang Xige rise dramatically in recent years to ninth place. Almost no one knew who Shang Xige truly was. 0

Those who had seen Shang Xige were either allies still alive or enemies who had all departed for another world. 0

Everyone knew that “Blood Butcher” Shang Xige was skilled at killing with a dagger, appearing and disappearing without a trace. No employer could hire him for a job, yet he was frequently seen executing missions. 0

The most infamous incident was when Shang Xige wiped out an arms deal location in a certain country, taking all the arms for himself. The scene was bloody and horrific, with severed limbs and gruesome remains. Every arms dealer's right hand tendon had been severed, and blood was used to write on the walls. 0

“Acting on behalf of heaven, loyal and righteous spirit. Presented by Shang Xige.” 0

That operation solidified Shang Xige's status in the assassin world, earning him the title of “Blood Butcher.” 0

All assassination missions were directly assigned by Mo Ming to Shang Xige. Aside from Mo Ming, no one knew the immense cost Shang Xige paid to complete that mission; he had been shot no less than six times. 0

Had it not been for his tenacious will to survive and Mo Ming arriving just in time, he might not have made it out alive. He spent six months recovering in bed before returning to his former self. 0

Shang Xige nodded and said, “You can rest assured about that, boss. After a year of training, my speed may not surpass that of ‘Hunter’, but it has improved significantly. I can definitely take care of those clueless little assassins swiftly.” 0

"Then let me see your skills." 0

Mo Ming was aware of Shang Xige's abilities; in the assassin world, aside from a few exceptional individuals, very few could match Shang Xige, which reassured Mo Ming. 0

"You go cut off their Power, and I'll wait. Once the Power is cut, I'll go in first while you launch a surprise attack from the shadows." 0

Shang Xige nodded and said, "Alright, in two minutes, the Power will be severed. I will infiltrate the room within one minute. No matter how strong the opponent is, I guarantee a one-hit kill." 0

Such a statement required sufficient confidence to make; it wasn't arrogance on Shang Xige's part. The truth was that there were very few who could rival him in the assassin world. He didn't believe it would be so coincidental to encounter those freaks. 0

"Okay." 0

The two parted ways. Shang Xige quietly approached the electrical switch, while Mo Ming pressed himself against the villa wall, cautiously moving closer to the window. He carefully peered inside and saw a total of seven people on the first floor: six Asians, all of whom had encountered Shang Xige at the hospital. 0

There were no visible assassins in the hospital; only a tall foreigner with golden curly hair and blue eyes sat alone nearby. On the surface, this person exuded no killing intent and appeared as gentle as a lamb. 0

However, Mo Ming sensed hidden malice in his eyes. He couldn't tell if there were any assassins upstairs, but he received a dangerous signal from that foreigner. 0

The six Asians were excitedly watching and had no idea that an enemy was approaching. 0

Meanwhile, the foreigner was meticulously cleaning his silver pistol with a handkerchief. The pistol had been modified; it was compact with specially crafted bullets. Only a professional assassin could achieve such modifications. 0

Mo Ming had never seen such a pistol before but felt a vague familiarity that he couldn't quite place. He could recognize its type at first glance but couldn't remember its name. 0

The silver pistol was equipped with a silencer, making it even more convenient for silent kills. 0

The entire process took only a few seconds. Mo Ming believed he made no sound at all, yet that foreign assassin's keen sense of danger detected him. When he noticed, a glimmer of killing intent flashed in the foreigner's eyes, which Mo Ming caught. 0

The other party remained calm, not saying a word or making any movement, pretending to be unaware. Suddenly, they drew a gun and aimed it at Mo Ming's exposed head, firing without even looking. Mo Ming hesitated to retreat to the wall, wanting to gauge the opponent's strength. 0

Just as the bullet flew toward him, Mo Ming finally pulled back. It was a close call; the bullet grazed past him, indicating that the assassin's sharpness and marksmanship were top-notch. 0

A name flashed through Mo Ming's mind: Joel Maikes! 0

He was the cold-blooded assassin ranked fifth on the assassin leaderboard, ahead of Shang Xige. With a modified silver gun that instilled fear in many, he was known as the Silver Gunman. No wonder Mo Ming felt he had heard of him before. 0

That thought was fleeting; Mo Ming was not frozen in place. As Shang Xige successfully cut off the power in the villa, Mo Ming dashed toward the front door, kicking it open forcefully. However, instead of entering, he quickly turned back to the window, blocking with his hands and leaping through the shattered glass. 0

The earlier shot from the Silver Gunman had already put everyone on guard. The sudden blackout left them in darkness, losing their vision. The sound of Mo Ming kicking open the door caught their attention, allowing him to enter through the window unnoticed. However, the Silver Gunman was not fooled; as soon as Mo Ming landed, he fired several shots at the source of the sound. 0

Mo Ming rolled on the ground a few times and leaped over a sofa, grabbing one of the slower-reacting assassins by the throat. With a burst of strength, he ended the assassin's life before they could resist. 0

Bang! Bang! Bang... 0

Inside the house, gunfire echoed continuously. Instinctively, Mo Ming pressed himself against the corpse of the dead assassin. The bullets caused blood to spray from the body but did not hit Mo Ming. As the assassins' eyes gradually adjusted to their surroundings, they finally spotted Mo Ming. 0

The Silver Gunman aimed to shoot Mo Ming but was interrupted by Shang Xige joining the fray. A dagger flashed with deadly coldness as Shang Xige swiftly moved in. Upon noticing Shang Xige's presence, Silver Gunman quickly retracted his gun hand and kicked out, forcing Shang Xige to retreat. 0

"Silver Gunman!" 0

"Blood Butcher!" 0

Both renowned assassins recognized each other simultaneously. 0

As Shang Xige fell back, Silver Gunman seized the opportunity to fire a few shots at him but missed. In that instant when Silver Gunman fired his weapon, Shang Xige reacted quickly and escaped through the window once again. 0

“Blood Butcher, I want to see whether your dagger is faster or my silver gun!” 0

Silver Gunman extended his crimson tongue and licked it with interest, but under the moonlight, it appeared somewhat pale, revealing a chilling aura as he hurried after Shang Xige out of the house. 0

Blood Butcher's other colorful companion had no intention of getting involved. 0

Now, Blood Butcher was the only one who piqued his interest; as for that unknown lackey inside, he could leave that to those people to deal with. 0

If Shang Xige knew Silver Gunman's thoughts, he would surely be amused, as it was rare for someone to think they were more interesting than Mo Ming, the Killing God. 0

At the same time, just as Silver Gunman and Blood Butcher collided with Shang Xige, a killer behind Mo Ming reacted swiftly, raising his dagger and lunging forward with the speed of a striking snake. 0

“Die!” 0

Quickly turning around, Mo Ming pushed the corpse in his hands toward the killer and followed suit. 0

The killer shoved aside the corpse; under the moonlight, the gleam of the dagger flashed as it aimed to stab at the charging Mo Ming, only to have his wrist seized. A sharp sound of bones breaking echoed. 0

“Ah…” 0

People often say that the fingers are connected to the heart; how much more so when a wrist is broken. The pain shot straight to the heart, and even if the killer had strong willpower, he couldn't help but scream in agony. The dagger in his hand was easily snatched by Mo Ming, who wasted no time in stabbing him several times. 0

One killer truly became frightened and asked in terror, “Who exactly are you?” 0

“Heh heh, how could Sito Hai hire you bunch of idiots? I’m really amazed. Don’t you want my life?” Mo Ming chuckled coldly a few times. In a swift motion, before the other could react, the glinting dagger sliced through the throat of the speaking killer. 0

Because the dagger struck with incredible speed, there were no blood marks on the throat. After a moment, a spurt of fresh blood erupted forth. The assassin's eyes widened in disbelief as he clutched his neck, writhing in pain. 0

"Ugh, ugh, ugh..." 0

Mo Ming caught a glimpse from the corner of his eye and hurled the dagger in his hand. Under the moonlight, it glinted coldly as it sliced through the air and pierced the forehead of the assassin who was about to shoot at Mo Ming. 0

The assassin showed no reaction; consciousness was quickly eroded by death, and his body slowly collapsed to the ground. 0

"Don't kill me! I'll tell you anything you want to know." 0

The last remaining assassin felt a surge of fear towards Mo Ming. He dared not move, terrified that Mo Ming would easily take his life. Regret flooded his mind; for the sake of money, he had nearly lost his life to such a ruthless figure, which felt utterly unworthy. 0

"Heh heh, you're quite clever. I like honest people like you," Mo Ming chuckled a few times and said, "Just tell me where your employer, Sito Hai, is now." 0

"Please spare me! I don't know where he is! Besides Silver Gunman, no one knows how to contact Sito Hai. We're just small fries; we really don't know anything..." 0

"Then you can rest easy." 0

Since he held no value for information, Mo Ming saw no need to listen to any more of his nonsense. He lunged forward and immediately snapped the man's neck. 0
