Uncertain of how much time had passed, Mo Ming's phone rang, completely interrupting the intimacy between him and Lin Yuan'er. 0

After gathering his emotions, Mo Ming picked up his phone to check and saw that it was a call from Murong Lian. Upon answering, he heard Murong Lian's voice, filled with fear and urgency, as if she was facing something terrifying. The sounds on the other end were chaotic, and Mo Ming could guess that Murong Lian was in a car and out on the street. 0

"Mo Ming, hurry and save me! Someone is trying to grab me, ah..." There was a sound of impact on the line, and Murong Lian's voice grew more frantic and scared. "Hurry, Mo Ming, I'm so scared..." 0

Hearing this, Mo Ming sat up abruptly, his brow furrowed with worry as he asked, "Don't be afraid. Where are you right now?" 0

"I don't know..." The situation must be dire; otherwise, Murong Lian wouldn't sound so close to tears, as if she were on the verge of breaking down. 0

"Calm down. Quickly look around and see where you are. I'm coming to save you right now." As he spoke, Mo Ming dashed out of the room. 0

Lin Yuan'er didn't know who was calling but realized that someone important to Mo Ming was in trouble; otherwise, he wouldn't have left without saying anything. She hurried after him, calling out, "Brother Mo, what happened? Wait for me; I'm coming with you." 0

"You got up just in time; breakfast is ready. Come eat... Hey, what's wrong? Where are you rushing off to?" Fu Meng was leisurely enjoying breakfast when he saw Mo Ming running down the stairs. He called for Mo Ming to join him but was puzzled by Mo Ming's frantic demeanor as he rushed out without a word. Fu Meng then noticed Lin Yuan'er following closely behind. 0

"Yuan'er, what happened? Why is he in such a hurry?" Fu Meng asked in confusion. 0

"I don't know who is in trouble; Brother Mo didn't say. I'm going to find out," Lin Yuan'er explained casually as she chased after him. Just then, she saw Mo Ming returning and before she could ask anything, he reached out and said, "Yuan, lend me your car quickly." 0

"Uh, the keys are upstairs," Lin Yuan'er pointed urgently toward the upper floor. Just as Mo Ming was about to run upstairs to get them, Fu Meng quickly approached and tossed the car keys over without asking any questions. "You can take my car." 0

"Thanks." Mo Ming replied as he caught the keys and ran outside while speaking into his phone. "Don't panic; keep the car steady and stay on the line. Drive towards your home; I'm at Yuan's uncle's place and will be there soon. Just be careful." 0

Getting into Fu Meng's red SUV, Mo Ming quickly reversed out of the garage with a deafening roar from the engine, leaving tire marks on the ground like a wild horse breaking free. He sped out of Fu Meng's driveway with a beautiful drift towards Murong Lian's direction. Lin Yuan'er watched the car slowly disappear into the distance and silently thought to herself, "Brother Mo, please be careful." 0

"Mo Ming, can you hurry? I'm really scared! They have about three cars... ah..." 0

"Don't be afraid; I'm getting closer." 0

Another loud crash echoed from the other end of the line. Hearing this made Mo Ming's heart sink further; his brows knitted tightly together as he drove faster through countless vehicles. Even when faced with a red light ahead, he disregarded it completely and charged through with anger boiling inside him. He thought to himself: "I don't care who you are; you'd better not let her get hurt. If anything happens to her, I will make sure you regret it." 0

"Are we almost at Skyward Bridge?" Mo Ming asked as he neared Skyward Bridge. 0

"Well, I'm almost on the bridge, ah..." A loud crash echoed from the other side, followed by the sound of metal scraping against the ground. Murong Lian screamed for a moment before falling silent, leaving only the sound of car horns and engines. Mo Ming realized something had happened to Murong Lian. 0

"Murong Lian, are you okay... say something! Are you hurt?" 0

As he sped across the bridge, Mo Ming saw that traffic ahead was blocked. Without thinking twice, he crashed through the railing into oncoming traffic and continued driving forward. This was an extremely dangerous move, but all that filled Mo Ming's mind was concern for Murong Lian's safety; he didn't care about his own life. Driving recklessly in reverse, he finally got off the bridge and saw Murong Lian's car crashed to one side. 0

Three black cars surrounded it, and a group of people dressed in black got out—wearing black coats and caps—heading towards Murong Lian's vehicle. Mo Ming immediately pressed down on the accelerator and charged into them. The attackers clearly did not expect someone to drive in so boldly; two of them were caught off guard and were knocked away by Mo Ming's car. Given the speed of the impact, survival was nearly impossible. 0

"You bastards, get ready to face my wrath!" 0

After slamming on the brakes and coming to a stop, Mo Ming quickly opened his car door. Upon seeing the black-clad men in front of him, a murderous intent flashed in his eyes. Without waiting for one of them to draw a weapon, Mo Ming swiftly reached out and grabbed the man's neck. With a forceful twist, he heard a sharp crack as bones broke. 0

Bang bang bang... 0

The remaining attackers reacted quickly, drawing their guns and firing at Mo Ming repeatedly. Bullets whizzed past him, many hitting the man Mo Ming had just killed, using his body as a shield. Mo Ming dragged the corpse behind his car for cover as the gunfire outside ceased. 0

Mo Ming had experienced such situations too many times; he could tell without listening that the black-clad men were slowly closing in, grinning with malicious intent. If anyone had seen him then, they would have noticed his eyes turning red with rage, resembling a vengeful Killing God. There was no time to waste; Mo Ming pulled out a handgun from the dead man's body and yanked off his cap, throwing it into the air. 0

Bang bang bang... 0

A series of gunshots rang out as bullets accurately struck the cap, creating several holes in it. This indicated that those men were well-trained; they would not hesitate to shoot at any sign of movement and their aim was precise—definitely assassins. 0

Just as bullets pierced through the cap, Mo Ming sprang up from behind his car. As soon as he spotted one of the black-clad men, he fired his gun with a loud bang. He quickly ducked back down beside his vehicle just as another attacker failed to shoot before blood splattered from his forehead. 0

The motion was fluid and quick; it seemed as if he already knew where the assailants were positioned. One shot was all it took to end a life. 0

Not everyone could achieve such precision—being able to hear everything around them and see in all directions. Mo Ming knew where they were only because those men had fired at the cap earlier; after all, he wasn't a god—he relied on real observations rather than predictions. 0

One of the black-clad men had somehow circled around to Mo Ming's back and was about to fire when Mo Ming swiftly turned around and shot him first. The man reacted quickly enough to retreat but not fast enough to avoid getting hit; the bullet went through his hand, causing him to drop his weapon. 0

Mo Ming chased after him as he hid behind the rear of a car, trying to evade Mo Ming's gunfire. Just as he reached out for cover, Mo Ming seized him by the throat with one hand and unleashed his strength. The man had no chance to resist before he gasped for breath and died right there. At that moment, someone approached from ahead and upon spotting Mo Ming immediately began firing repeatedly. 0

Dust flew around as bullets thudded against the car body, stray shots ricocheting everywhere. Mo Ming quickly shrank back, noticing someone charging from the other side. The moment the opponent exposed part of their body, their fate was sealed. As the person raised their gun towards Mo Ming, a crimson spray erupted from their throat. Just as that person fell, two more rushed in. Mo Ming hurriedly opened the car door and heard bullets striking it. 0

"I saw six people earlier; three are dead, leaving three remaining—two in front and one flanking from behind." 0

Understanding the current situation, Mo Ming didn't hesitate and swiftly dove into the car, opened the opposite door, and dashed out. In his peripheral vision, he caught sight of two blurry figures and quickly raised his gun, firing twice. With just those two shots, he took down both individuals before they even realized what had happened. 0

The last black-clad figure sensed movement behind them and turned just as Mo Ming pulled the trigger several times, only to find his gun empty. Cursing under his breath at the opponent's stubbornness, he threw his handgun, hitting the last black-clad man's hand with precision. The pain made the man drop his weapon just as he bent down to retrieve it. 0

Mo Ming sprinted forward and kicked the black-clad man away. Before the man could react, Mo Ming closed in again, tightening his right fist while grabbing the man's clothing with his left hand. He unleashed five powerful punches to the man's nose, each strike carrying force that left the black-clad figure disoriented and unconscious before Mo Ming finally released him. 0

The skirmish had lasted only a brief moment; six trained black-clad men had fallen at Mo Ming's hands. They probably died without ever understanding who they had angered for money. If they had known Mo Ming's former reputation, they might have thought twice about taking this job. 0

As the killing intent gradually subsided, Mo Ming recalled Murong Lian and rushed to the driver's seat of the Ferrari. There he found Murong Lian slumped over the steering wheel, her side profile facing him. Her beautiful face was now stained with crimson blood, her long hair disheveled and motionless. 0

"Murong Lian, you need to pull yourself together! Can you hear me? Don't fall asleep!" As he spoke, Mo Ming tried to open the car door but found it locked from inside. Not thinking much of it anymore, he pounded on the window until it shattered, his fists bleeding from the shards without him feeling any pain. 0

Mo Ming pulled Murong Lian out of the car and noticed her breathing was faint. "Murong Lian, stay with me! You're safe now; don't worry! As long as I'm here, no one can hurt you! You must keep your spirits up! I'm taking you to the hospital right now; hold on!" 0
