Ye Chuanze was shocked the moment he was abducted, wasn't he!
He had anticipated countless possibilities and had even secretly prepared to fight Rahul. He was ready to run if he couldn't win. Although he wasn't as skilled in fighting as Rahul, he had long legs and could escape!
Little did he know that Rahul would play so unpredictably, charging in without a word and directly abducting him!
Damn! Are you born a robber or what!
Thinking back to those years when he and Rahul fought against the invincible Primordial beings, robbing countless powerful Primordial entities, it seemed they really were born robbers. Ye Chuanze felt a surge of complex emotions; it truly wasn't the time for retribution. Back then, when he joyfully followed Rahul to rob various powerful Primordial beings, he never expected that one day he would be robbed by Rahul, just like those unfortunate Primordial beings. Even worse, he was taken along with his belongings to the Demon Realm!
Once they entered the Demon Realm, on its territory, Rahul released him.
Standing on the ground of the Demon Realm, at the moment of entry, the atmosphere changed dramatically. This place was completely different from Primordial. As soon as they arrived, a chilling wind rushed towards him, and the sky was overcast. What met his eyes was desolation—barren hills without a trace of green grass or trees, towering rocks eroded by the wind stood amidst yellow sand. The air was thick with a bloody scent, and ahead came the fresh smell of blood; in the distance, jagged cliffs loomed like monstrous beasts.
The scene was ravaged; it looked like a broken world.
Ye Chuanze looked up at the sky. Unlike the bright blue sky of Primordial, here it was gray and low-hanging, shrouded in thick dark clouds. This made the world perpetually dim, enveloped in gloom that felt oppressive and melancholic.
On the sandy ground, there were only sounds of “swish swish swish” and rustling; those were the sounds of snakes, scorpions, and centipedes crawling. This land was fraught with hidden dangers. In the Demon Realm, not only humans kill each other; animals lurked in the shadows, eyeing those who had lost their will to resist.
“How do you like it? Isn’t this a charming world?” Rahul looked at Ye Chuanze, smirking as he spoke: “Here, you can kill freely without restraint. No need for reasons or pretense; as long as you are strong enough, you can kill anyone you want.”
“Even me.” Rahul’s voice was low and seductive, carrying an alluring undertone.
Ye Chuanze fell silent upon hearing this. After a long while, he finally looked up at him and said, "I have no interest in killing, and I have never thought about killing you."
After saying that, he continued walking ahead on his own.
Rahul was taken aback for a moment, then burst into laughter. He took a few steps forward and wrapped his arms around Ye Chuanze's waist, saying, "You say you don't like killing? That's quite amusing. Have you learned his false benevolence from Hongjun after being with him for so long?"
"Have you forgotten those years you spent with me? How much fresh blood you drank and how many people you killed? I still clearly remember the pleasure radiating from you after each kill, your body drenched in blood, with Black Lotus blooming amidst it. What a beautiful scene that was! Beautiful, and I've always wanted to recreate that moment!" Rahul said, holding him tightly, his lips close to his ear, his voice hoarse with excitement and fervent desire.
Ye Chuanze remained unfazed by his words. After a long time, he casually replied, "Oh that! You still remember? I've long forgotten it; after all, it's been so many years."
"Now, I've turned over a new leaf," Ye Chuanze stated.
Rahul did not get angry; instead, he revealed a strange smile. The expression on his face was certain; he seemed to trust his judgment completely without any doubt. He released Ye Chuanze and said, "Come with me; you're not familiar with this place. Be careful not to wander into another demon's territory."
"I thought the entire demon realm belonged to you," Ye Chuanze replied as he followed.
Rahul chuckled and said, "The demon realm is so vast; I can't get used to living alone. I need something to pass the time; otherwise, life would be too lonely."
Ye Chuanze remained silent but couldn't help but think to himself that he was a pervert; after all these years, his nature hadn't changed at all!
Before them stood a grand and imposing palace situated in the midst of dark waters of an expansive lake. As Ye Chuanze gazed at the seemingly endless lake with no discernible source or end, he couldn't help but wonder if there were monsters lurking within it. Given Rahul's twisted sense of humor, it was entirely possible. Ever since long ago, Rahul had an unusual taste; he always favored bizarre and terrifying beasts. Because of this, Ye Chuanze had often argued with him about spending every day surrounded by such fearsome creatures—it was simply unbearable!
Flying through the clouds, Ye Chuanze soared high above the vast lake, preparing to head toward the palace on the opposite shore.
Halfway across the lake, he was flying high in the sky when suddenly a massive head emerged from the water below. Ye Chuanze was startled and quickly dodged to the side. Once he got a clear look, his mouth twitched uncontrollably; what a truly ominous omen!
It was a fierce beast with a long neck and a gigantic head, emerging from the lake and revealing half of its enormous body. It panted heavily and roared at Ye Chuanze, exposing its sharp fangs.
What the hell is this monster! Rahul, you sick pervert, where did you find this aberration!
Seeing this uniquely terrifying beast, Ye Chuanze felt completely unwell. After a millennium of not seeing each other, Rahul, your taste... has truly become more bizarre! There's no saving it now.
Rahul caught up from behind, wrapping an arm around his waist and flying him forward. The giant beast retreated upon seeing Rahul, sinking back into the depths of the water to hide in the lake.
"I forgot to tell you, this lake is home to my little pet. It's very lively and loves to greet everyone who passes by, but its way of saying hello isn't liked by many, which makes it quite sad," Rahul said with a smile. After a pause, he continued, "So it eats all those who make it sad."
"..." Ye Chuanze.
Rahul paid no mind to his expression and said, "The Demon Realm never needs the weak; the weak cannot survive here."
Upon reaching the palace, Rahul released him.
"Since you say that, I can rest easy," Ye Chuanze suddenly said.
Hearing this, Rahul turned his gaze toward him.
Ye Chuanze continued, "If anything happens here in the future, I hope you won't get angry. Just as you said, there’s no need for the weak to survive here."
Rahul raised an eyebrow and said, "What do you mean?"
"For example, if someone chopped up your little pet," Ye Chuanze replied coldly.
Rahul smiled and said, "That depends on who did it. If it were you, I wouldn't be angry at all."
"After all, I prefer you over it," Rahul said, his gaze fixed on Ye Chuanze.
Ye Chuanze merely snorted disdainfully in response and remained silent.
Thus, Ye Chuanze stayed in the demon realm, residing in a courtyard within Rahul's palace.
He disliked the demon realm and hated Rahul's palace.
It was too dark here; sunlight could not penetrate, and the air was thick with a strong smell of blood. Snakes and reptiles lurked in the shadows, and even the flowers here were vividly cold, as if they contained poison, seeming capable of killing in an instant.
Being in such a world made one feel cold all over, filled with disgust and a desire to kill.
To cleanse this dark world with warm blood, feeling irritable, impatient, and hateful, wanting to see fear and hatred in people's eyes, wanting them... dead!
Since arriving in the demon realm, Ye Chuanze had not seen Rahul again. It was as if he had disappeared completely, never to appear by Ye Chuanze's side again. This was somewhat unexpected for Ye Chuanze; he thought Rahul would cling to him as before, disturbing his peace of mind.
But this was fine too; not having to see someone he disliked was a relief, Ye Chuanze thought.
Recently, his temper has been getting increasingly irritable. He has started to struggle with controlling his temperament, always feeling restless and finding fault with everyone around him. Perhaps it is because this place, the Demon Realm, is truly unbearable! Ye Chuanze thought.
On the second day after Rahul went missing, Ye Chuanze opened the door and found a man dressed in black standing outside, looking cold and expressionless.
Ye Chuanze frowned and asked, "Who are you?"
"I am here on behalf of my master to protect Real Person," the man in black replied.
Hearing this, Ye Chuanze felt disdain in his heart. Protect? Did he really need protection? Rahul would probably be more than happy for him to get into a conflict with someone from the Demon Realm, right? Wasn't he kidnapped for that very reason? To pull him into a partnership, to kill together, to commit evil together, to stand unwaveringly against righteousness until death, to dominate and destroy the world. After all, this is the Demon Realm, and Rahul is the Demon Ancestor. Could one really expect the demon race to do good deeds or embody true kindness? What a joke!
Rahul sending someone to protect him was as laughable as telling him to turn over a new leaf and become a good person from then on. It would be more accurate to say it was surveillance rather than protection; they were probably afraid he would run away.
Ye Chuanze scrutinized the man in front of him for a moment, secretly assessing his abilities. "What is your name?" Ye Chuanze asked.
The man in black was taken aback by the question, his expression momentarily dazed before he lowered his head and answered, "I am Dark Crow."
Dark Crow? Ye Chuanze raised an eyebrow; it was indeed a strange name.
"How long have you been with Rahul? What position do you hold in this Demon Realm?" Ye Chuanze continued.
"I have been with my master for fifty-eight thousand nine hundred years; I am a Demon General by his side," Dark Crow replied.
A Demon General? Ye Chuanze raised an eyebrow and looked at him, saying, "You seem to remember quite clearly."
Dark Crow lowered his head and remained silent upon hearing this.
Ye Chuanze noticed that he had been silent for a long time without saying a word, finding him truly boring. Are all the people from the Demon Realm this dull? He couldn't help but think of Haotian, that lively and clever boy who always chattered away. How could someone who is also by their ancestor's side be so different?
Ye Chuanze glanced at Dark Crow. Could it really be that the environment has such a significant impact? The Demon Realm is indeed not a good place!
In the following days, just as Dark Crow had said, he was there to protect Ye Chuanze, providing close protection! Wherever Ye Chuanze went, he followed closely, never leaving his side.
Ye Chuanze began to feel annoyed. He looked at Dark Crow and said in a bad tone, "Don't you have anything else to do? Following me around all day, doesn't that bother you?"
Dark Crow stared at him with his dark eyes and after a long while, slowly replied, "Not bothered."
Damn it! Here we go again! You’re pulling this again!
Over these days, Ye Chuanze had come to realize the capabilities of this Demon General. No matter how much Ye Chuanze nitpicked or tried to provoke him, Dark Crow remained silent and submissive, enduring all his complaints and insults without moving an inch. Every time Ye Chuanze criticized him, he would look back with those innocent dark eyes, resembling a big wolfdog.
Each time, Ye Chuanze found himself defeated under that gaze. It made him feel like he was being unreasonable. The point is, anyone facing someone who doesn’t fight back or retaliate will eventually lose interest over time; it’s just too dull!
As a result, Ye Chuanze fell into a slump for quite some time until today when he finally gathered his spirits again to pick a fight!
Then he failed.
"You’re not bothered? I am! You’re constantly hovering in front of me; it’s driving me crazy!" Ye Chuanze said irritably.
Dark Crow looked at him and after a long time said, "I didn't shake."
"……" Ye Chuanze.
Damn it! This is simply impossible to communicate! Ye Chuanze angrily turned to leave, while Dark Crow slowly followed behind. His steps were neither fast nor slow, always maintaining a distance from Ye Chuanze, not too far and not too close.
"Are you the Daoist that Demon Ancestor brought back?" A loud and arrogant voice rang out ahead.
Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze thought to himself, here we go again!
Ever since Ye Chuanze arrived in the Demon Realm, he hadn't had a single peaceful day. Up close, there was the annoying Dark Crow bothering him every day. Farther away, various types of Demon Lords came to provoke him daily.
They think they can bully him because he is weak, right? They think they can bully him because he is from a prestigious sect, right? They think they can bully him because he is a captive, right?
Damn, this is too much!
I can endure!
Actually, they are just jealous that you have received Rahul's favor
They are not here to provoke you; they are here to compete for affection
They have no awareness of being the new favorite of the Demon Ancestor hidden away in a golden house
Ye Chuanze has always been arrogant and accustomed to being spoiled. Even when he was weak and had not yet taken on human form, he dared to challenge the powerful beings of Primordial. Once he achieved mastery in his cultivation and learned the Sky-Connecting technique, he became even more reckless and domineering. Furthermore, with Hongjun consistently indulging him, he was allowed to do whatever he pleased. This fostered his tyrannical nature, believing himself to be above all others. He was always the one to provoke and threaten others; no one dared to challenge him directly.
Since arriving in the Demon Realm, he has faced repeated provocations. Coupled with his initial displeasure at being forcibly brought to the Demon Realm by Rahul, old grievances combined with new ones made him furious.
He summoned his magical treasures and fought fiercely against the Demon Lords who came to provoke him, creating chaos and destruction.
At first, Ye Chuanze managed to restrain himself. After beating those foolish Demon Lords black and blue—so badly that their parents and favored consorts wouldn't recognize them—he would coldly shout, "Get lost!" and consider it settled.
However, as more challengers appeared, Ye Chuanze grew impatient and became increasingly ruthless. After accidentally killing a Demon Lord during one encounter, he no longer held back. Each battle ended with either his opponent dead or himself. Of course, it was always the challenger who met their demise.
Ye Chuanze surveyed this latest challenger. Oh! This time it was a rather handsome young man. With thin lips and a straight nose, his delicate face was striking. Ye Chuanze couldn't help but feel regret; such a beautiful man was about to die!
The intense gaze from Ye Chuanze made the challenging Demon Lord quite displeased. He sneered and said, "So you are the one who killed eight Demon Lords?"
"That's right; I did it," Ye Chuanze admitted without hesitation.
"The ones you killed were simply lacking in skill!" The Demon Lord glared at him coldly, his dark and vicious gaze reminding Ye Chuanze of the venomous snakes he had seen upon entering the Demon Realm—truly disgusting! It made him want to gouge out the Demon Lord's eyes!
"Don't get too cocky just because of that," the Demon Lord said disdainfully. "I am not like them; I have already mastered Heavenly Demon. Today, I will take your life. The Demon Realm cannot tolerate your arrogance!"
Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze laughed.
"Anyone can spout pretty words, but I advise you not to speak too soon; be careful... or you might trip over your own tongue!" Ye Chuanze replied coldly, a flash of murderous intent crossing his eyes.
The Demon Lord was immediately enraged upon hearing this, and he summoned his magical artifact to strike at Ye Chuanze.
Ye Chuanze stood still, a slight smirk curling at the corner of his mouth, revealing a contemptuous and chilling smile.
A moment later, Ye Chuanze held a sword, blood dripping from its tip.
He coldly gazed at the corpse that was falling backward with wide-open eyes and an unwilling expression, his voice as frigid as the eternal ice on a snow-capped mountain. "What Heavenly Demon? It's nothing but this. I warned you to be careful or you might get your tongue bitten off, yet you refused to believe it!"
Dark Crow, who had been standing not far behind him the entire time, watched this scene with dimmed eyes. This man was truly powerful—terrifyingly so! In the past few days, every Demon Lord that had come to provoke him had met their end beneath his sword. These Demon Lords, who were dominant figures in the demon realm, had no power to resist against him.
The disparity in strength was too great!
Indeed, he was a direct disciple of the Dao Ancestor; he was powerful beyond measure! In the Primordial World, strong individuals were indeed formidable! Dark Crow began to understand why the arrogant and powerful Demon Ancestor placed such importance on this man and was so obsessed with him.
He looked at the man ahead, whose face was cold and whose lips curled into a disdainful smile while holding his sword. His gaze involuntarily carried a hint of infatuation; he was truly captivating! So cold and heartless like ancient ice, yet so dazzling that one could not look away.
This man was born for slaughter; he resembled a Black Lotus blooming in blood—bewitching and beautiful, dangerous and powerful.
Perhaps it was precisely because of this that the Demon Ancestor was so determined to pull him into darkness. The desolate and monotonous demon realm desperately needed such a beautiful Black Lotus to embellish it. What belonged to them demons would never be taken away by anyone. If it were taken, they would stop at nothing to reclaim it!
Many years ago, Dark Crow abandoned everything due to his obsession. At that time...
