Ye Chuanze, along with Fuxi and Nüwa, traveled towards Mount Buzhou. Fuxi inquired about his transformation, and Ye Chuanze briefly recounted the events of that day. Upon hearing this, Fuxi sighed, "Hongjun Daoist truly has a deep concern for you!"
Ye Chuanze nodded and said, "My master treats me very well."
Fuxi glanced at him but remained silent. It was unclear whether he noticed the change in Ye Chuanze's attitude towards Hongjun compared to the past. Initially, whenever Ye Chuanze mentioned Hongjun, he displayed disdain and aversion. Even after Hongjun took him as a disciple, he refused to call him master, referring to him privately as Hongjun Daoist. Now, however, he openly called him master, his words and demeanor reflecting genuine respect and affection.
Ye Chuanze seemed completely unaware of his shift in attitude towards Hongjun. Fuxi looked at his usual carefree expression and couldn't help but sigh inwardly. This person was always like this; it was hard to tell whether it was good or bad.
"Hongyun Daoist seems not to have gone to Treasure Cliff?" Ye Chuanze suddenly said.
Fuxi was caught off guard by this comment and took a moment to respond, unsure why Ye Chuanze brought it up. Nevertheless, he replied, "It seems he left with Zhen Yuanzi."
Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze realized that Zhen Yuanzi must have forcibly taken Red Cloud away. Given Red Cloud's nature, how could he miss the opportunity to seek treasure at Treasure Cliff? It was likely that Zhen Yuanzi was worried that Red Cloud had just obtained a strand of Primordial Purple Qi and feared that other immortals might target him, which is why he prioritized taking Red Cloud back instead of going to Treasure Cliff.
Zhen Yuanzi had good intentions for Red Cloud, but unfortunately...
"It's a pity for Hongyun Daoist; he missed the chance to hear about the path to sanctification," Ye Chuanze sighed lightly. Zhen Yuanzi meant well but ended up causing trouble. However, it couldn't be said entirely like that; even if Zhen Yuanzi hadn't taken him away at that moment, Red Cloud's obliviousness might have led him to miss the fact that Hongjun's teachings were not yet complete. This was a trap set by Hongjun himself, designed to ensnare the Primordial Immortals. The path to sanctification is not something everyone can hear about; just like the position of Sage is predestined by heaven.
Fuxi also sighed upon hearing this, clearly thinking about Red Cloud's precarious situation. Meanwhile, Nüwa remained quiet but her expression was inscrutable after listening to Ye Chuanze's words.
Upon reaching the foot of Buzhou Mountain, everyone landed safely.
Nüwa returned to her cave first while Fuxi escorted Ye Chuanze back to the Valley.
"I didn't expect you to transform so quickly," Fuxi said with a hint of emotion in his tone.
Hearing this, Ye Chuanze couldn't help but joke, "What? Are you saying I've transformed too fast? Aren't you happy?"
"How could I not be happy!" After a pause, Fuxi continued, "Your transformation brings joy to both me and Nüwa!"
Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze felt a stir in his heart, recalling how Fuxi and Nüwa had planned for him during his previous transformations. The disappointment from those two failed transformations was not only his but also shared by Fuxi and Nüwa. He turned around, placing a hand on Fuxi's shoulder, and spoke with slight emotion, "Fuxi, I kept you waiting for a long time!"
Seemingly affected by his emotional display, Fuxi simply looked at him, momentarily speechless.
After a while, Fuxi reached out and grasped the hand that Ye Chuanze had placed on his shoulder, saying, "It's good that you can transform; there's no need for such formality between us!"
Fuxi looked at Ye Chuanze's transformed appearance. It was a stark contrast to the ethereal form created by the Primordial Spirit. His features were sharp and heroic, with eyes that held a fierce intent. His thin lips and prominent nose complemented his tall stature and long black hair. This man resembled a sword drawn from its sheath, exuding a chilling aura that could easily harm others... or himself.
"Fuxi," Ye Chuanze said, meeting his gaze steadily, "from now on, we can fight side by side."
Upon hearing this, Fuxi smiled slightly. "I have waited for this day for a long time!"
Arriving at the Valley, Ye Chuanze and Fuxi stood by the lakeside. The azure lake shimmered under the sunlight, filled with pure and delicate White Lotuses. The lotus leaves spread out lushly in vibrant green. A gentle breeze carried the fragrance of the lotus flowers. Fuxi gazed at the blooming White Lotuses in the lake, a smile forming on his lips as he said, "Hongjun Daoist has always been thorough in his considerations; nothing is more urgently needed than an exquisite and grand Cave right now."
Fuxi took a few steps forward, reached out to pluck a White Lotus, and brought it to his nose to take a light sniff. With an amiable tone, he remarked, "You can no longer reside in water as you did before."
With a flick of his hand, Ye Chuanze conjured a beautifully crafted small pavilion. He gestured forward, and the miniature pavilion instantly rose into the air before landing on an empty patch of ground nearby. In the blink of an eye, an imposing and grand pavilion appeared before them.
"Fuxi, come inside with me to see what wonders this residence holds," Ye Chuanze said.
Fuxi heard this and happily went over.
The two of them walked into the mansion together. Just as they reached the main gate, they saw the bronze door open from the inside. Upon the door opening, they discovered a young boy in a Daoist robe standing behind it. Seeing Ye Chuanze and Fuxi, the boy cheerfully exclaimed, "Greetings, my lord, greetings, Fuxi the Daoist."
Ye Chuanze was intrigued by this and asked, "How did you know I am your lord and he is Fuxi?"
The boy replied, "It was told by Hongjun the great lord."
So it was that Hongjun had informed these boys about some matters beforehand. Thinking of this, Ye Chuanze asked again, "What else did my master say?"
The boy, seeing he was being asked, obediently answered, "Hongjun the great lord said that from now on, this place will be under your command, and we must listen to you in everything."
"Besides you, who else is there?" Ye Chuanze inquired.
"There are also Azure Sky, Blue Smoke, and Baiyun, three other boys," the boy said.
"What is your name?"
"My name is Qingshan."
Ye Chuanze then asked him some more questions and learned about the current state of the mansion. It turned out that this mansion was once Hongjun's Cave, which he later abandoned after becoming a sage when he opened up the Purple Cloud Palace outside of the Thirty-Three Heavens. Now, it had been transferred to Ye Chuanze by Hongjun.
Since it was once Hongjun's Cave, it was naturally not an ordinary place. The mansion's architecture was grand and imposing, with exquisite and beautiful pavilions, gardens filled with flowers, rockeries with flowing water, and a white jade fairy pond. Not to mention the medicinal garden filled with spiritual herbs and the treasure vault—these were all incredibly precious. No wonder Hongjun said it was a good treasure; it truly contained vast wonders and countless treasures.
Originally feeling slightly dissatisfied because the treasure given by Hongjun was just a Cave, Ye Chuanze now felt immense joy in his heart and secretly repented for having misjudged Hongjun. Truly, Hongjun is a good person! Congratulations to Hongjun for earning a good person card.
Ye Chuanze walked around the residence with Fuxi, casually chatting. By evening, Fuxi glanced at the twilight sky and said to Ye Chuanze, "It's getting late, so I will take my leave."
Ye Chuanze did not insist on keeping him and nodded, saying, "I'll see you off."
After seeing Fuxi off, Ye Chuanze returned to the residence and called for four attendants: Qingshan, Azure Sky, Blue Smoke, and Baiyun. He asked, "Does this residence have a name?"
Qingshan replied, "It used to have one, but it was removed by Hongjun. Hongjun said that this Cave will belong to you in the future, so you can name it as you wish."
Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze pondered deeply, mentally discarding several names he thought of; either they sounded too mundane or lacked the grandeur he desired. "Do you have any ideas for a new name for this Cave?" Ye Chuanze asked as he looked at them.
The four attendants exchanged glances, and finally, Qingshan stepped forward and said, "Hongjun mentioned that if you don't have any ideas for a name, he would suggest one for you."
"Oh? What name did he suggest?" Ye Chuanze asked curiously.
"Lotus Cave."
"Huh? What did he say the name was?"
"Lotus Cave," Qingshan repeated.
Ye Chuanze twitched his mouth in disbelief. He remembered that in his extensive reading, he had come across many inappropriate books like "The Lotus Sutra," "The Appreciation of Lotus," and "The Love of Lotus," among others. In short, it was all about "the flower path has never been swept for guests; the humble door now opens for you." As a man... everyone understands. So, he couldn't help but think of it inappropriately. Without hesitation, he rejected Hongjun's suggestion and said firmly, "That name is too feminine; choose another!"
The four attendants looked at each other again, puzzled by why Ye Chuanze reacted so strongly to Hongjun's suggestion.
Noticing their expressions, Ye Chuanze asked, "What was this Cave called before?"
“Purple Cloud Palace.”
“What? Say that again.”
“Purple Cloud Palace.” Qingshan repeated.
“……” Ye Chuanze twitched his face. Master, can you be any lazier?
Hongjun is terrible at naming, Ye Chuanze concluded! Since Hongjun is bad at naming, Ye Chuanze felt even more justified in tossing aside Hongjun's suggestion and starting to think of a new title himself. After thinking for a long time, he realized that he… was also bad at naming.
“Let’s just call it Yunze Cave. The clouds and mist transform into rain, blessing all things; that is Yunze. It matches my title well, so let’s call it Yunze Cave.” Ye Chuanze's name was brought from his previous life, and the meaning behind it was to embrace all rivers and bless the land.
As soon as he finished speaking, the Heavenly Dao responded. A rumble of thunder echoed, and three large characters in a dragon-and-phoenix style appeared on the purple-gold plaque hanging above the entrance of the residence: Yunze Cave. This was a divine inscription, with traces of the Dao visible in the writing.
Far away in Purple Cloud Palace, Hongjun Daoist, sitting on the Lotus Platform with his eyes closed in meditation, opened his eyes. The response of the Heavenly Dao was also his response. Hongjun's expression was calm and cool, but the corners of his lips slightly curved up; Yunze Cave was indeed a good name. Such a benevolent title for all Sentient Beings and a blessing for the people perfectly dissolved the violent aura stemming from Ye Chuanze's birth. Although he felt a bit regretful that Ye Chuanze did not use the name he had given, he had to admit that Yunze Cave was more suitable than his own suggested name, Lotus Cave.
In fact, Lotus Cave was also a very good name and suited him quite well, Hongjun thought.
