Dao Law The profound mysteries are beyond the years, and in the blink of an eye, three thousand years have passed. 0

Hongjun finished the last segment of Dao Law and paused. In the blink of an eye, within the Purple Cloud Palace, the Golden Lotus dissipated, the Auspicious Signs vanished, and the golden light faded away. He opened his eyes, his gaze deep and calm, lightly scanning the various immortals in the great hall. His voice was cold as he said, “This lecture concludes here. Do you have any questions?” 0

Di Jun's eyes flickered, and he was the first to ask, “What level of Dao Law has the teacher reached at this time?” 0

“I have attained sainthood.” 0

“What does it mean to attain sainthood?” Di Jun asked again. 0

“To entrust the Primordial Spirit to the way of heaven, to be immortal and indestructible, is to be a Sage.” 0

“How does one attain sainthood?” The questioner was still Di Jun. 0

Hongjun slightly raised his eyelids and glanced at him, saying, “That is what I will discuss in my next lecture.” 0

Upon hearing this, Di Jun fell silent. 0

Sitting in the back, Ancestral Witch Houtu quickly spoke up and asked, “Teacher, if one does not cultivate the Primordial Spirit, how can one attain sainthood?” 0

Hongjun replied in a calm voice, “Come back to ask during my next lecture.” 0

Hearing this, Houtu bit her lip slightly, feeling unwilling, and asked again, “If one does not cultivate the Primordial Spirit, is it impossible to attain sainthood?” 0

“Not necessarily.” Hongjun moved his lips and uttered these two words. 0

Not necessarily means there is a possibility of attaining sainthood. Upon hearing this, Houtu felt a sense of relief; it seems that the path of body refinement taken by their Witch Clan is also a legitimate path. 0

Lying quietly within the Twelfth-Rank Black Lotus at Hongjun's legs, Ye Chuanze, upon hearing Hongjun's words, realized that he was starting to play tricks again. What Hongjun meant by "not necessarily," in Houtu's ears implied possibility; however, in his original meaning, it likely indicated impossibility. By giving such a vague answer, Houtu, seeking comfort for her heart, would inevitably choose the answer she hoped for deep down. 0

Ye Chuanze found it difficult to understand the actions of the Twelve Ancestor Witches. Most of the immortals within the Primordial realm cultivated the Primordial Spirit, while those from the Witch Clan who practiced without focusing on the Primordial Spirit were in the minority. Historically, the mainstream path was considered correct, and the minority often had no say. The fact that ninety percent of the immortals in the Primordial realm cultivated the Primordial Spirit indicated that it was indeed the most suitable path for cultivation. 0

However, considering that the Twelve Ancestor Witches took pride in their lineage from Pangu and aimed to follow a path similar to that of Pangu the Great, Ye Chuanze began to understand their perspective. They were pursuing a physical cultivation path, and although there were many different paths, they ultimately sought the supreme Great Dao. The most important aspect of cultivation was to maintain a steadfast heart and unwavering resolve. If one began to doubt their own path, believing it to be wrong, then all previous efforts would be in vain, and a millennium of cultivation could be destroyed in an instant. 0

In such situations, one could either abandon their previous cultivation and start over or firmly believe in their own path, dismissing all doubts and continuing steadfastly. How many people in this world possess such determination to throw away a millennium of progress and start anew? 0

The Twelve Ancestor Witches belonged to the latter group. Those Ancestral Shamans who had not come to Purple Cloud Palace to listen to teachings may have once shared similar doubts with Houtu, but ultimately they chose to firmly believe in their own path and maintain an unwavering heart. Even Houtu had made a similar decision, steadfastly following her own way without wavering. 0

The path of cultivation is fraught with dangers; a moment's carelessness can lead to death and loss of one's way. 0

In the Twelfth-Rank Black Lotus, Ye Chuanze quietly observed Ancestral Witch Houtu, who sat at the back of Purple Cloud Palace. Houtu's skin was a rare honey color among the Primordials, exuding health and vitality. She was tall with striking features and beautiful looks. Instinctively, Ye Chuanze compared her to Nüwa; Nüwa's features were exquisite and flawless with translucent skin, making her appear slightly smaller than the tall Houtu. In terms of temperament, Houtu embodied wild vitality while Nüwa represented a noble and ethereal fairy untouched by worldly affairs. Nüwa and Houtu were entirely different types of beauties. 0

In fact, Ye Chuanze preferred someone like Houtu; she felt more relatable and personable, making him more willing to interact with her. Nüwa seemed noble and aloof, hard to approach. If he had to choose between them without knowing either personally, he would definitely choose Houtu over Nüwa. Of course, this was under the premise that he didn't know either of them well; currently, he had a very good friendship with Nüwa. 0

After becoming familiar with Nüwa, Ye Chuanze found that she was actually quite approachable despite her initially intimidating demeanor. Ignoring her fierce nature—he believed that although Nüwa was a woman, her temperament was no softer than that of a man—he realized she had a quick temper and preferred using violence to solve problems. This was evident from her frequent fights with Sky-Connecting. 0

It must be said that as Ye Chuanze's only close female acquaintance, Nüwa had a profound impact on him, leading him to develop a new understanding of seemingly gentle women. He now kept his distance from soft-spoken girls due to his psychological shadow cast by Nüwa's fierce personality. Was it worth risking everything for such girls? 0

Aside from being somewhat fierce in character, Nüwa was actually quite easygoing. She treated friends and family with warmth and friendliness; for instance, she was obedient around Fuxi. Nüwa treated Ye Chuanze well too, but he still felt closer to his brother Fuxi. 0

Perhaps it was due to their different genders? Ye Chuanze always felt constrained around Nüwa; he spoke cautiously for fear of offending her with his words. However, when he was with Fuxi, he felt no such reservations; he said whatever came to mind without holding back—even those things he wouldn't dare say around others. 0

Ye Chuanze had a sharp tongue and often spoke harshly; this could be seen in his daily interactions with Hongjun. Generally speaking, he didn't dare casually express his true thoughts to others—only Fuxi knew them... well now there was also Hongjun whom he could confide in. 0

Hongjun lightly touched the Black Lotus before him and cast a faint glance at the various immortals within Purple Cloud Palace before speaking coldly: "If there are no questions, you may leave! A thousand years from now will be the last time Purple Cloud Palace opens for teachings." 0

The immortals rose and departed one by one. However, Fuxi stayed behind; upon seeing this, Nüwa sighed internally and chose to remain as well. Di Jun noticed Fuxi staying behind and halted his steps as well. Naturally, Taiyi followed suit when Di Jun did so. Zhen Yuanzi and Red Cloud saw them remaining for Ye Chuanze's sake as well; they hoped they could lend assistance if needed later on. After their last encounter with Ye Chuanze, Zhen Yuanzi and Red Cloud had become friendlier towards him. Zhun Ti subtly tugged at Jieyin's sleeve as a signal for him to stay too. These two were completely unaware of why Fuxi and the others remained but adhered to their principle of not missing out on any potential benefits. 0

The Three Pure Ones were the last to leave; Primordial cast a cold glance at Fuxi and the others who remained before snorting softly—a group seeking death indeed. Sky-Connecting wore an inscrutable smile on his face as excitement sparkled in his eyes; it seemed like he had no intention of leaving at all. Primordial shot him an annoyed glare as if urging him to leave quickly; however, Sky-Connecting pretended not to see it and continued lingering about. With Primordial's cold aura intensifying upon seeing Sky-Connecting's stubbornness, he simply reached out and dragged him away. 0

Once outside Purple Cloud Palace, Sky-Connecting complained: "Second Brother, why won't you let me stay?" 0

Primordial frowned and said unhappily, "Are you planning to leave a bad impression on our Master?" 0

"Ah?" Sky-Connecting looked confused. 0

Primordial glanced at the bewildered Sky-Connecting and said with a tone of frustration, "Why do you think Fuxi is staying?" 0

"Naturally for Brother Ye," Sky-Connecting replied. 0

"Exactly. Fuxi is staying for Brother Ye. Once Brother Ye leaves Purple Cloud Palace, our Master will surely be unhappy. Are you trying to make our Master remember you by staying here now?" Primordial glared at him. 0

"Eh? Brother Ye is leaving?" Sky-Connecting exclaimed in surprise. 0

"Once he recovers, he will naturally leave," Primordial stated. 0

"That's true. This Purple Cloud Palace really is a bit dull. If it weren't for necessity, I wouldn't want to come here at all," Sky-Connecting agreed. 0

Upon hearing this, Primordial shot him a cold glance and said, "Don't say that in front of our Master." 0

"Don't worry, I'm not that foolish," Sky-Connecting waved his hand dismissively. 0

After hearing this, Primordial gave him a sidelong glance and huffed meaningfully. 0

"Wait a minute..." Sky-Connecting suddenly came to his senses. "Why would our Master be unhappy if Brother Ye leaves?" 0

"..." Primordial. 0

"Sky-Connecting!" Primordial raised his voice and struck him hard on the head, saying angrily, "If you ever die, it will definitely be because you're too foolish!" After all this time in Purple Cloud Palace, how could he not see how much their Master liked Brother Ye? 0

Standing quietly to the side, Laozi watched the two brothers "playing around" with an indifferent expression. When Sky-Connecting was left looking dejected after being scolded by Primordial, Laozi slowly spoke up, "Enough, Primordial, it's not good to go overboard." 0

Hearing this, Primordial finally stopped, giving Sky-Connecting a look filled with disappointment. 0

Sky-Connecting Bowing my head and pretending to be dead, I secretly cursed the old man in my heart. Why did he wait until I was almost taught a lesson before speaking up? You're not a good person either! Sky-Connecting Glancing at the cold-faced Primordial and then at the inscrutable old man, my expression twisted in frustration. I can't live like this anymore! 0

Hongjun gently stroked the Black Lotus placed on his lap, not lifting his eyelids as he said淡淡地, "Why have you all stayed?" 0

Everyone fell silent at his words, except for Fuxi, who said, "I remain here solely for my friend Ye Chuanze. I thank the teacher for helping him." 0

Upon hearing this, Hongjun coldly replied, "I saved him; there is no need for your thanks." 0

At that moment, the Black Lotus, which had been quietly lying on Hongjun's lap, suddenly floated up and flew outside, landing skillfully on Fuxi's white-clad shoulder. 0

Seeing this, Hongjun's expression darkened as he sternly commanded, " Ye Chuanze, come back now!" 0
