Outside the entrance of the Purple Cloud Palace, Fuxi and Nuwa were waiting for Ye Chuanze, while Di Jun, Taiyi, Zhen Yuanzi, Red Cloud, and others remained behind. Upon seeing this scene, Ye Chuanze raised an eyebrow slightly, secretly speculating about the purpose of Di Jun and the others staying behind. He did not believe that they were waiting for him to return together like Fuxi and Nuwa. Manifesting his phantom, he sat on the Twelfth-Rank Black Lotus, riding the Lotus Platform towards Fuxi and Nuwa. 0

" Ye Chuanze," Fuxi called out as he saw him, his expression relaxing. 0

Ye Chuanze nodded at him, revealing a reassuring smile as if nothing was amiss. 0

Di Jun glanced at Ye Chuanze, his gaze flickering slightly as he said, " Mr. Ye sure takes his time." 0

"Heh heh... Di Jun, your patience is commendable," Ye Chuanze replied ambiguously. 0

Di Jun pretended not to catch the deeper meaning in his words and calmly asked, "What does Hongjun Daoist want with Mr. Ye?" 0

Ye Chuanze looked at him with a half-smile and after a moment opened his lips to say a few words, "Nothing much, just catching up." 0

Di Jun was slightly surprised by this response. " Mr. Ye and Hongjun Daoist are old acquaintances?" 0

"We have some connections," Ye Chuanze replied vaguely. 0

Hearing this, Di Jun's mind raced with thoughts as he said, "I have never heard Mr. Ye mention it before." 0

"You never asked, so I didn't bring it up," Ye Chuanze said. 0

Di Jun lowered his eyes slightly and chuckled softly, " Mr. Ye is indeed quite reserved!" 0

"Not at all, just some trivial past..." 0

In the Primordial realm where strength was paramount, during Hongjun's first sermon, few immortals came to the Purple Cloud Palace to listen due to his lack of fame and untested strength. However, those who attended the sermon all experienced significant improvements in their cultivation. This delighted them and made them realize that Hongjun's strength was unfathomable. Just by giving a lecture, he had elevated the cultivation levels of his audience. What level of power must he possess himself? 0

No one could perceive the depth of Hongjun's cultivation; he was like a deep sea before them—its depths unknown and unfathomable. The gap in strength between them and Hongjun was so vast that they could not sense his true power. The unknown is often the most terrifying. The more they speculated about Hongjun's abilities, the more fear gripped their hearts. 0

Di Jun recalled that in the beginning, Hongjun had mentioned that he had become a Sage. What exactly is a Sage? 0

Di Jun couldn't help but think that Hongjun Daoist truly knew a lot. He had many questions in his heart and was just waiting for the second sermon to seek answers from Hongjun. 0

Glancing at the black-haired youth sitting upright on the Twelfth-Rank Black Lotus, Di Jun's thoughts turned over and over. He had not expected that this person was an old acquaintance of Hongjun Daoist. He had originally stayed behind to investigate the reason why Hongjun Daoist left Ye Chuanze alone, wondering if there was some hidden meaning behind it. However, he did not anticipate that Ye Chuanze was tight-lipped and unwilling to divulge any information. Di Jun's evaluation of him rose another level, and his vigilance deepened. 0

After a moment of silence, Di Jun finally spoke, "Since Mr. Ye has returned safely, there is no need for me to stay any longer. I will take my leave." 0

Hmm... This statement was indeed artful. Di Jun had ulterior motives for staying behind, intending to glean information about Hongjun Daoist's purpose in leaving Ye Chuanze. Yet now he spoke as if he were genuinely concerned for Ye Chuanze's safety. It seemed that if Ye Chuanze encountered any trouble, he would rush in immediately to rescue him from danger. In reality, Ye Chuanze believed that if Hongjun Daoist truly intended to act against him, the one who would flee the fastest would likely be Di Jun himself. Di Jun was someone who understood how to seek benefits and avoid harm. Although he himself was the same way, it did not prevent him from slandering Di Jun. 0

Regardless of how Ye Chuanze slandered Di Jun in his heart, he still maintained a pleasant demeanor and said, "Thank you for your concern, Di Jun. May we meet again by chance." 0

Taiyi also bid farewell to Ye Chuanze and left together with Di Jun. 0

Now, aside from Ye Chuanze, Fuxi, and Nüwa, only Zhen Yuanzi and Red Cloud remained at the scene. 0

Red Cloud saw Ye Chuanze and cheerfully said, "Seeing you safe brings us relief." The "us" naturally referred to him and Zhen Yuanzi. 0

Ye Chuanze understood the nature of these two and knew they were speaking sincerely, so he genuinely thanked them, "Thank you both for your concern." 0

Red Cloud replied, "You are too polite; I should be the one thanking you. Your words made me confront my past mistakes. I have caused quite a bit of trouble for Zhen Yuanzi." 0

Zhen Yuanzi glanced at him upon hearing this, his lips pressed tightly together. 0

Ye Chuanze waved his hand and said, "It is generous of you not to hold my words against me; there is no need for thanks." To be honest, Ye Chuanze felt that what he said to Red Cloud was indeed a bit rude. If he had encountered someone less magnanimous, they might have harbored resentment for his meddling. Only Red Cloud, known for his good temper as a Primordial being, would not mind his interference. 0

Red Cloud then said earnestly, "I am not someone who lacks gratitude; your words were well-intentioned. How could I harbor complaints against you for your kindness?" 0

Hearing this, Ye Chuanze could only smile and remained silent thereafter. 0

Zhen Yuanzi cupped his hands and bowed to Ye Chuanze, his voice steady as he said, "Thank you for your concern, my friend. Zhen Yuanzi will remember this." 0

Ye Chuanze quickly replied, "Zhen Yuanzi, what are you doing? With the friendship between us, there is no need for such formality." Seeing this, Ye Chuanze couldn't help but sigh inwardly. Zhen Yuanzi's regard for Red Cloud was indeed remarkable; just for that previous remark from Red Cloud, Zhen Yuanzi performed such a grand gesture, acknowledging a favor. This clearly showed how much Zhen Yuanzi valued Red Cloud. 0

Little did Ye Chuanze know what was on Zhen Yuanzi's mind. Zhen Yuanzi was a person of calm demeanor and had an imposing presence. Although he seemed difficult to approach, he was deeply loyal and caring. He rarely ventured out and had few close friends. Red Cloud was his dear friend of many years, and their bond was naturally profound, unlike any ordinary relationship. In contrast, Red Cloud was lively and enjoyed wandering around, often getting into trouble compared to the cautious and steady Zhen Yuanzi. 0

Over the years, Zhen Yuanzi had discreetly resolved numerous troubles that Red Cloud had caused without harboring any resentment. He only worried that one day Red Cloud might get into a predicament that even he could not handle. At that point, Red Cloud's life could be in danger. For this reason, Zhen Yuanzi was deeply concerned. He had subtly advised Red Cloud many times over the years, but each time Red Cloud would brush it off with humor. Seeing this, Zhen Yuanzi could only give up, though his worries remained unchanged. 0

Moreover, in recent years, due to concerns about appearances, Red Cloud felt embarrassed to trouble Zhen Yuanzi for help anymore. Whenever trouble arose, he would hide away and avoid Wuzhuang Temple altogether. Zhen Yuanzi noticed this and felt anxious but was helpless. He was not good with words; rather than persuading verbally, he preferred to quietly resolve the troubles that Red Cloud caused behind the scenes. 0

However, Ye Chuanze's words suddenly awakened Red Cloud to how much he had burdened Zhen Yuanzi with worry over time. He realized how much Zhen Yuanzi had done for him and felt an overwhelming sense of guilt. When he saw Zhen Yuanzi next, he couldn't wait to apologize and promised to act with caution in the future, vowing never to cause trouble again or make him worry. 0

Upon hearing this, Zhen Yuanzi felt delighted. After asking further, he learned that it was Ye Chuanze's words that had made Red Cloud realize his actions. His fondness for Ye Chuanze increased significantly at that moment. Originally having a good relationship with Ye Chuanze, this further solidified their friendship. 0

This situation was unknown to Ye Chuanze; perhaps it was fortunate that he did not know. If he had known, who knows what he might have said? Could Red Cloud’s impulsive words really be trusted? Zhen Yuanzi was indeed too naive! Words spoken in a moment of excitement by someone as lively as Red Cloud should be taken lightly; one must never take them seriously or risk being led astray! 0

And indeed, Zhen Yuanzi took Red Cloud’s impulsive words seriously—so he ended up being led astray… 0
