However, I still want to ask on behalf of those hesitant clansmen, where does your confidence come from? Is it truly as the outside world claims, that it comes solely from your close relationship with the Contemporary Dragon Head?"
Wang Long cursed inwardly; Du Yinping was indeed cunning and vicious. If Jiang Xue were to admit this, many elders who still harbored animosity towards Dragon City would suspect her of colluding with external enemies for personal gain. Yet if she denied it, the truth was evident—her relationship with him was not a secret.
