I stood alone in the same spot, just like that winter thirteen years ago, crouching in the snow and watching Yan Feng walk towards Lynn Yueyue.
I first met Yan Feng when I was sixteen. We were admitted to the same high school; I was in Class Two, and he was in Class Eight. Every day after school, I would lean by the window, secretly watching him pass by downstairs. I silently followed him for eight years.
Until the year I turned nineteen, when Yan Feng and I both got accepted into university. I used my savings to help the Yan Family, on the condition that Yan Feng had to marry me. At that time, Yan Feng was in the midst of breaking up with Lynn Yueyue. Without a second thought, he agreed.
Just like that, I became Yan Feng's fiancée. Back then, I naively believed that as long as I became Yan Feng's wife, I would eventually warm his heart. But the reality was that Yan Feng would rather have a betrayer like Lynn Yueyue than spare me a glance.

I looked at Yan Feng in disbelief. "Why do you want a divorce?"
"Because I'm getting married."
Yan Feng's voice was calm, with a hint of barely noticeable joy:
"Lynn Yueyue is coming back."
Just like that, Yan Feng and I completed the divorce registration.
That day, Yan Feng left decisively, without any hesitation.
After that, I stayed at home, waiting and waiting, but I never saw Yan Feng return.
I began to frantically search for Yan Feng—at the company, friends' houses, and the clubs he often visited—yet there was no sign of him.

Yan's Father looked at me with a hint of regret:

Yan's Father looked at me, hesitating to speak.
At that moment, a friend of Yan Feng suddenly called me:
"Sister-in-law, you need to come to the club quickly; A Feng is in critical condition!"
Following the address provided by Yan Feng's friend, I hurried to the club.
It was raining outside, and I had forgotten to bring an umbrella.
As I rushed into the private room, my hair was already soaked from the rain.
I had expected to see Yan Feng completely drunk and out of it.
But to my surprise, I found a group of people ready to watch the spectacle.
Seeing my disheveled appearance, the people in the room burst into laughter.
The winners cheered, while the losers rolled their eyes at me.
"I told you He Li would definitely come."
"I didn't expect He Li, who usually seems so proud, would throw away all dignity for Yan Feng."
"Ha, what pride? Just a pitiful creature."
Amidst the mocking laughter, I tried to maintain my composure.
A waiter handed me a dry towel, and I took it and walked over to Yan Feng.
"Yan Feng, are you okay?"
Yan Feng looked up at me with disdain: "He Li, is this how low your dignity has fallen?"
I forced a nonchalant smile: "If you're fine, I'll be heading back now."
